Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I have been dying my hair blue for about a year, but the grow out was driving me nuts because my hair is 100% gray and I looked like a skunk. Semi permanent color had my hair feeling like straw so I dreaded doing my roots. I tried several vegan dyes, but they barely covered my gray. This shampoo blended my roots so well, that after 3 washes, it was like they weren't even there. I have 3 feet of hair and the conditioning is great. A comb goes right through it. It feels like I have my old hair back, only it is blue and shiny. It is a little messy, but not bad-stains my fingernails for a day or so after use, but my bathtub is just fine. The only drawback is that I do have to use regular shampoo about every third wash because my hair starts to feel dirty, but if I wash it with regular shampoo and then follow with the 'n rage, my color does not fade. I will be using this for a long time to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent color shampoo, but Ive only tried it once. Decent color shampoo. Sort of covered my few very hairs, revived my purple. Purple more red purple than blue purple though. Next time I might try mixing purple and blue. Decent for a quick color touch up smells like Bubblegum???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Stuff Ever! I bought this about a month ago because I wanted to try something different and quicker to bring my purple back to life. I dyed my hair purple with professional hair dye and a few weeks later it faded to an ugly blue/grey/green. I used this; took about 5 mins to apply, and I left it on for 8 mins. I was completely shocked and happy. I didn’t think it would work well because my ends are fried from bleach but it took so much better than normal dye. And yes, it does stain everything pretty good. But, comes right off with makeup wipes for skin if you do it soon after, and for counters and tubs comes right off with bleach. And while i was cleaning up the counters with bleach it took it off my hands in the process. Just be cautious as always. Heres the before and after!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strong color depositing! I bought and have been using the blue for the last few weeks. I also used the pink back, oh, maybe a year and a half ago when I had pink hair. They're awesome in terms of strong color depositing! I took off a star because they stain so badly - hair (of course) but also skin, clothes, bathtubs. They also don't do a great job of shampooing/cleaning the hair, imo, so I primarily use it as color touch-up. I've never tried one of these on my natural hair (medium blonde), only on pre-dyed but not necessarily pre-bleached hair but I think you could totally just dye your hair from natural with this. Well, from medium blonde or lighter. Maybe dark blonde? It definitely gets your hair to the color of the stuff - when I used the pink, which is a sort of magenta-based pink, it totally ran over my more delicate, coral-hued pink (Arctic Fox Electric Paradise). I can't really be mad, though, because it did its job so well. The blue I used to refresh some teal that had gone swamp green and it really nixed the green! The blue is lightening but not fading to green on my unbleached (So pretty yellow) hair so I'm quite pleased! Overall: yes, it's good to turn your hair blue/pink/etc but will stain your bath or shower and isn't really as effective as shampoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product I love this product keeps my pink highlights bright and in between coloring. Expecially when my styles get closed down every few weeks and I can't go see her regularly.

Hi. I was curious to know if I was to use this product on my natural dirty blonde/brown hair, what would be the result

Asked by: Raven8115
I'm not sure which color you're looking at using or just in general... so, in general you probably have the right shade of hair to play with most of the colors. I haven't used them all so I'm not completely sure. If you're looking for deep saturated color(s) or the color on the bottle apply to dry hair, leave on for 5+ minutes. If you want softer color, then use wet. If your hair is on the finer/ damaged side you might want to test it wet and dry (one under side wet, one underside dry). I have thick, course grey hair with dark and light brown undertones. I use the light purple, dark purple and blue. I'm strategic in the placement of color. I'll apply thin watery blue(I add water apply it to dry hair) from my crown down to about my ears, then blend in the purples. You can also mix colors and play around with it. Good luck, have fun!

I am going to dye my hair a pastel pink....would this pink 3-in-1 be too bright pink to maintain the correct color?

Asked by: Anonymous
No. It is a bright pink but, I cut it with regular shampoo to make it lighter. Dont use a clear shampoo use one thats white like Pantene or something. So i will put a bit of the pink shampoo in my hand then add a white shampoo then mix it all together. You may have to try a few times to get the color and deposit how you like it. I hope this helps.

Can you tone with the blue shampoo or will it just become a direct dye? Has anyone ever tried this?

Asked by: mariae97
You're better off buying a toner and then buying a special "purple " shampoo for blonde hair. I used this purple shampoo when my hair was dyed purple. These are to make your color hair dye last longer.

Do you have to match the color of your hair, i have purple, do i have to use the purple or would it be the blue shampoo?

Asked by: Anonymous
If you're trying to keep the purple in your hair, then use the purple shampoo. But if you're trying to change the color to blue, you can use the blue shampoo to gradually change the color to blue. As the purple that's already in your hair fades & the blue will become more noticeable with every wash. I hope this helps.

If I dye my hair pink , could I use this to keep up with the pink color without overdoing it ? If so how many times a week ?

Asked by: JackieSummer
I had mine professionally done. My hair is gray and purple. The color extender shampoo works great. I only use it when my color starts to fade. This isn't something you need to use a couple times a week. Just watch and when you see your color start to fade use it.

Can I use this briefly to eliminate orange on my light brown hair

Asked by: Anonymous
I would use a purple toning shampoo for that, like Pravana. This product in silver, is a dark silver and I feel like it makes the yellow tones in my hair look darker and stand out more. I find this product better used over a more platinum bond.

these shampoos are for gray hair ..

Asked by: Lindajouet
I have a mix of 60% gray to dark brown and the blue worked like a charm for me, and I used it after a texturizing process, beautiful color, no damage. It was super simple and left my hair soft and managable. As with my previous experiences with ANY blue, it's messy so be prepared, it will stain porous surfaces. Use a pillowcase you don't care about because it will turn blue. Use all color safe products and rinse the hair in cool water or your color won't last. The purple is next!
