Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!ll I have all white hair. I smoke and use a blow dryer. My hair was yellow/orangish. I tried all different things and nothing worked. So I bleached it for only 15 mins until I could see it was gone. I then used the Snow Cap toner and used the 20 developer I kept that on for 20 mins. And my hair is so silvery I absolutely love it!!! I'm getting ready to buy the toner and developer again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lift I had a dark Auburn almost black box color in my hair, and knew I would need something to pull the color out to start over and this product did just that. There was no dust, just easy mixing and brushing it on. I did a second one but only to pull out the brassiness which I don't believe is the products fault because of how much red there was in my hair. Now I'm a pretty shade of blonde deciding what's next.

Will I need to use toner after using this? I plan on buying 2 packets I have a little past shoulder length hair

Asked by: Annaskorch
It completely depends on your hair and personal preference. Some people will enjoy the color the hair naturally bleaches to because it can occasionally be more natural. If it pulls really coppery you may want to tone it though because from personal experience it may continue to gradually become more orange each shower. Also if you have hard or well water you may want to tone it just to prolong the blonde.

My hair is box color(a darkish burgundy) I had it done real light 4yrs ago at a salon.and looking to go lighter..my hair is past my breasts length wise.i bought 2pks of the blue flash lightner.will this help take most of the red out?

Asked by: Marie201929
Red is the hardest color to lift and box dye will make it more difficult, you will not be able to lift all of the red out without permanently damaging your hair, and damage is permanent, you cannot undo it and you cannot repair it, you can make it physically feel softer but that is it. Your best bet is to gradually go lighter, you will probably be able to lift 2-3 levels but you will most likely have orange to copper hair. Wait a couple of weeks (preferably 3-4) and then re bleach again, you will probably lift to an orange yellow color, and then wait a few more weeks and you make be able to lift to a nice shade of blonde. Get a nice toner to tone out the yellow and orange undertones. Also don't put the bleach directly on your roots your head puts off a lot of heat and the closer to the scalp the faster it will process (hot roots).Good luck....

This goes along with my 1st question asking will the lightner take a good amount of the red out..I bought also a med blonde color..will this turn out pretty decent looking color wise?? Any info or help would be great

Asked by: Marie201929
I have very dark hair and found that it took the red out if I mixed it closer to 1:1, and also left it on for at least an hour. There was no damage to my hair whatsoever with the thicker mixture or length of time.

How much cream developer do I use?

Asked by: lisakitty239
It’s a 2 to 1 ratio. So for a one ounce lightening packet, use two ounces of cream developer.  If you usually have problems with the bleach burning your scalp, add about 1/2 of a cup of shampoo to the mixture. It allows you to keep the bleach in your hair longer so you can achieve the desired lift of color. I do this and I haven’t had a problem with burning since I started using this method. It’s called a soap cap.  Hope that helps!

There is no scoop in the packet. How big is a scoop?

Asked by: GRgirlll
its just a ratio; use 2 parts peroxide for every 1 part bleach. i used the entire package and then about half a bottle of the tiny developer...i just miced it until it was the right consistency
