Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hair Color Good stuff. Demi-permanent colored hair grows without lines. Kind of blends. Doesn’t damage hair. Just use cream rinse for a few shampoos to counter any dryness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7A was a lovely shade of medium blonde Loved the initial dark mushroom blonde color the 7A left on my hair after I lightened my hair a couple of levels from a level 4 brown to a level 8 blonde. The color really stays on through multiple hair washes as well. I’ve shampooed my hair around 12 times since coloring it and my hair still is hold the color well with only minimal fading at this point, which looks nice as my former highlights are now showing through.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay Bought and used yesterday, it's smells horrible, almost like eucalyptus on steroids. It definitely took but looks horrible due to my hair being a little too red to start with, honestly wouldn't use again on account of the smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended Easy to use! I was scared to try color on my hair as I only get my hair done at a salon. I actually got compliments on my color. Love it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the dye; hate the supply problems I love this Demi-permanent hair dye. I like to mix three different colors for dying my own hair. But, I'm very frustrated that Sally's is always out of at least one of the colors. I'm close to switching to something else, possibly from another store.

Question, I’m trying to get like a ash level 8-9 , I previously dyed my hair level 3n for years , so I did a color remover , my hair is a mess red brown and then did highlights ,but my roots are hot and my hair os really brassy, what Demi permanent should

Asked by: Anonymous
You are going to have to use something to cover the darkest level you have which I’m guessing is your red orange roots. If you are really good at doing hair you could probably apply a level 5 but you need ash to combat the red orange tones so look for a 5A or 5NA. That’s for the roots. For the rest of your highlighted hair depending how light it is you could use a 6NA or 7NA if you are close to your desired level. Make sure when you apply them start with your roots then do the rest of your hair. Blend both colors where they meet with your fingers so the colors melt into each other nicely. You are going to have to use bleach to get your hair lighter to your desired level. It might take 2 more times. You need to wait at least 6 before bleaching/ highlighting again or your hair will start to break fall out and the bleach/ color will not be able to lift/ deposit to its full potential. Make sure you only use Demi or semi permanent hair colors in the mean time. Or you will have to start all over.

I like wella Demi permanent colts. My hair is a mix of over-bleached grayish blonde and some brown highlights. Will a light blonde make my overall hair color a light brown?

Asked by: DebbieCap
I’m not a licensed cosmetologist. No a light blonde will not make your hair a light brown. You need a light brown to make your hair light brown. I would go to the Wella website and see if they have ask an expert and then you can go to Sally’s to buy the right hair color. My stylist told me to buy a permanent hair color to cover the gray better. I have highlights and lowlights that are light brown. But again I’m not an expert.

I mix very light sandy gold (9WG) with light natural blond (8N/8/0) but I cannot find the light sandy gold anywhere, and the light natural blond by itself is darker than I like Any suggestions?

Asked by: Cathie Dale
Sorry, I don't know.  Have you looked online for the light sandy gold.

Hii I have a question the toner will last how long ??? And it’s not permanent right ? Will it go back to it’s  Original color?

Asked by: Alexa1207
Not permanent color...your hair will fade to its original color. The toner lasts forever, I think. I color my hair about every 4 weeks and it looks good right up to that point.

My hair is natural gray/ can I use a Demi permanent color to blend some color into my hair?

Asked by: Waffles2
Try it.  The thing I like about the demi permanent color is that it is a softer look and washes out in a way that looks natural rather than a harsh line.

Does this have to go on dry hair?

Asked by: Kikicat1
I have only used it in dry hair. You may want to check with the company on whether it can be used on wet hair.
