Rated 5 out of 5 by from YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS! I use this filler at least once a week. I mix 1oz. of product to 2oz's of water. I work it into lightly towel dried hair, wait 20 minutes and rinse. The results is amazing! Body and volume that lasts, softness and a shine of healthy hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reconstruct Your Hair This stuff is amazing! I used it as a stand alone treatment. I mix 2 oz of protein filler with 4 oz of warm water (1 to 2 part ration). It leaves your hair soft and smooth. I bleach my hair and it is very healthy because of this product. When adding it to bleach, keep in mind that it will drop the strength of your lightner (30oz with protein filler is really like 20oz). Based on my research, I will only use it every three weeks to a month.

I have dyed blonde hair right now. If I fade it with shampoo and use this, can I be able to dye my hair black without it turning green? It’s my biggest concern

Asked by: Anonymous
This product only protects during dying and makes hair shiny

my hair is colored a dk red. My natural color is a med/dk brown. I have several inches of roots and my ends are dry, so they are a lighter red. I want to use this to help make my color even but I dont know which method to use.. HELP!

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, use the neutral filler on all the previous color. Only dye your new growth, follow the time table. If the ends are very faded you can use a couple drops of red filler in with the neutral. Saturate the ends with filler while your hair is processing, when it gets to the shade that matches put color on all over, 5-10 minutes will most likely be all you need. Stay at the mirror and keep taking small sections and wipe off from ends to roots to match. Diff areas each time.

I tried stripping out some old color that didn't really work and now I'm left with 3 inches of brown roots and the rest some very damaged lighter red hair. I want to dye all of it a light brown but worried about uneven porosity. Will this help?

Asked by: Nancy Red
No, you need to strip it some more. This filler is great for the gray hairs that are around your temples-and forehead. The grays there seem to show up really quickly, but the filler first will allow the color to last longer in those tough areas. Good Luck

I recently bleached my roots and then tried to dye my hair a nice strawberry blonde. My roots didn't take the color like the rest of my hair did (My hair was all blonde, I just bleached the roots as a touch up) will this neutral filler help hold color?

Asked by: Becky037
it will help hold color - I dampen my hair and apply the protein filler - then leave it on my hair for at least an hour before dying my hair - it makes my hair thicker and stronger as well

I have bleached blonde hair and I want to go to a pretty chocolate brown. My roots are dark and I have new growth but the rest of my inches are blonde. Can I use it before applying any color? What products do you recommend?

Asked by: Justmeli
I'd use the filler then use a semi permanent color, not a permanent color. Go 2 shades lighter than your root color or it will be too dark.

I’m planning to use this protein filler as pre color treatment before I dye my hair. Should wash my hair with shampoo then towel dry it then put it in the filler? Or can I just saturate my hair with water with no shampoo then put the filler in?

Asked by: Kay12390
I use this as a pre-color treatment as well, and I don’t shampoo first... I just saturate my hair with water and add the filler. I suppose if you had a lot of build up from hairspray or gel, you’d want to shampoo first.

I am coloring whole head. Do I put this is my bowl with my color and developer and then apply? Instructions don't seem clear.

Asked by: Kelly Kay
Two methods are noted. I apply to washed and towel dried hair for 20 minutes prior to applying color. No need to rinse. It can also be added to the color. Be sure to moisturize after treatment.
