Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIFE SAVER Me being an idiot, I thought I could bleach my hair twice in one day. My hair has never cried more!! My hair was horribly blotchy, I had to re-dye it so I wouldn't embarrass myself in public. This before adding demi permanent dye, saved my life! I love this! Will use this before dying my hair, ANYTIME!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product My hair is damaged, high porosity, and needs protein often. It's easy to add this to products as needed, instead of trying to find another product that has the right amount of protein.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will buy many times again! Love this stuff! It’s so nice to just be able to add protein to products I love, gives me so many more options of products to use since my hair loves protein and some of my favorite products are protein free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great replacement! This did such a great job for my hair! I had to put protein back in my hair because I had my hair blonde before. And to dye your hair brown you have to replace that protein that was stripped from your hair so the dye (brown) has something to cling to. I’ve seen multiple people use a red color filler and I was against having red in my hair just because I personally don’t want red in it. But I wanted to do a neutral color so I used this and it worked FANTASTICALLY!!! Great great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent protein treatment I used this product as a protein treatment by mixing 1oz of water to 2oz of protein filer, applied on washed damp hair left in for 10 minutes then rinsed and conditioner. I was amazed at the results.

Hair was recently bleached.roots are a silvery blonde from toning and some patches are still orangey.Parts of hair are more porous than the rest and are tinted blue from purple shampoo. Will this even everything out so I can re-tone & get an even colour?

Asked by: jmsparks
This product you would use during touch ups you comb it through the hair you don't want the color to run through.  For the orange patches I would just leave the color on for s minute or two the blue shampoo will shampoo out

Do i dry my hair first after putting the neutral protein filler in before coloring?

Asked by: Shelly1963
I don't wash my hair before coloring. I spray the neutral protein filler onto my dry hair and wait 20 minutes. I then color, rinse, apply a color sealer, wash and condition.

Can this be used with boxed hair dye? Can you mix it directly into the dye or do you have to apply it to the hair BEFORE coloring?

Asked by: DropDeadRed
I think the bottle said you can mix it if you're in a hurry. But the normal application is to pretreat your hair with it and wait 20 minutes. It makes the coloring thing take longer if you do it that wY, but it helps the hair color go on more evenly so its worth it. I haven't mixed it with the color in so long I don't remember how that worked.

My hair was damaged for a bad bleach job. It was odd, after a couple of washes, I was left with a weird light halo patch around my head. Since than permanent black hair dye went stick. After the first wash it all comes off. Will this help?

Asked by: Pauline9
I've been using this myself since a bleach job gone wrong, it's helped tremendously, but does take a little time and a few treatments. I replace half of the amount of developer with neutral protein when I color. Then add a little to my after-color sealer treatment. I also use it routinely 1-2 times per week, added to my deep conditioner. I make sure to balance the protein treatments with good quality moisturizing oils. I still get some "wash-out" for a week or so after I color, but my hair does still hold onto the color. Really the only fix is time as your hair grows out. In the meantime be extra gentle with your hair.
