Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIFE SAVER Me being an idiot, I thought I could bleach my hair twice in one day. My hair has never cried more!! My hair was horribly blotchy, I had to re-dye it so I wouldn't embarrass myself in public. This before adding demi permanent dye, saved my life! I love this! Will use this before dying my hair, ANYTIME!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product My hair is damaged, high porosity, and needs protein often. It's easy to add this to products as needed, instead of trying to find another product that has the right amount of protein.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will buy many times again! Love this stuff! It’s so nice to just be able to add protein to products I love, gives me so many more options of products to use since my hair loves protein and some of my favorite products are protein free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great replacement! This did such a great job for my hair! I had to put protein back in my hair because I had my hair blonde before. And to dye your hair brown you have to replace that protein that was stripped from your hair so the dye (brown) has something to cling to. I’ve seen multiple people use a red color filler and I was against having red in my hair just because I personally don’t want red in it. But I wanted to do a neutral color so I used this and it worked FANTASTICALLY!!! Great great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent protein treatment I used this product as a protein treatment by mixing 1oz of water to 2oz of protein filer, applied on washed damp hair left in for 10 minutes then rinsed and conditioner. I was amazed at the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didnt work for me Maybe my hair is just too damaged to hold color, but this did not help hold the color for me. Faded within 5 days after using as directed with my home coloring.

How could you use this prior to a bleach bath/ soap cap?

Asked by: tammysusie
I don't know about that but it is good stuff to even use after a wash/condtn at any point. I use it on occasion between my colorings just as an extra; my hair is thicker actually the day after I wash it. As a prep for coloring, I wash with a clarifying shampoo, deep condtn and add the filler to towel-dried hair as I was told to do years ago. My current hairstylist says my routine is a good one. Don't know if it helps.

Is this a neutral protein hair filler? Is it designed to not add any color

Asked by: DrSaundra
No color is added if you use the neutral kind.  However, there are fillers that are colored (i.e., red, black or brown).  Always choose neutral when no added color is wanted.

I am wanting to dye my hair to a medium brown.I am a blonde at the moment do I need a protein filler for my hair and if so what kind. Please help..Thanks

Asked by: Christina96
Hi.  I’m natural blond n cover greys.  Since ALL blondes have xtra pourous hair ALWAYS use a protein filler when u color.  U can just add to color-directions on the bottle.  Neutral filler is clear so in case u don’t like the brunette I’d stay with neutral. It’s a good conditioning treatment too Good Luck

After bleaching my hair a while ago my hair will not hold color would this help?

Asked by: Cassidy3
I find that when i color my (blonde) hair, the roots are so much healthier than the ends that the color wasn't "even". Since I found out that color actually sticks to the protien in hair, I use some of this when coloring my ends and the color is much more even. I color the roots as I normally would and then add about an ounce of this to the remaining color in the squeeze bottle for the ends. Works well. I think it might help you, and if not, it's NOT going to hurt anything. Just make sure to use the nuetral color.

Hair was recently bleached.roots are a silvery blonde from toning and some patches are still orangey.Parts of hair are more porous than the rest and are tinted blue from purple shampoo. Will this even everything out so I can re-tone & get an even colour?

Asked by: jmsparks
This product you would use during touch ups you comb it through the hair you don't want the color to run through.  For the orange patches I would just leave the color on for s minute or two the blue shampoo will shampoo out

Do i dry my hair first after putting the neutral protein filler in before coloring?

Asked by: Shelly1963
I don't wash my hair before coloring. I spray the neutral protein filler onto my dry hair and wait 20 minutes. I then color, rinse, apply a color sealer, wash and condition.
