Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blonde to Brown! Stumbled upon this on a random YouTube video...did not know such thing existed. My hair was super blonde (level 10 with a dark root since I’m naturally a brunette) and I wanted to go dark all over because I missed having healthy shiny hair. I put this on wet hair, rinsed it out, then followed with Wella Demi Permanent Color Charm in 5N. My hair is DARK. But since I used a demi permanent color it will fade nicely to a beautiful brown with rich undertones in a few washes. I just saved $50 (probably more) by finding this amazing product!!! Cannot recommend enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to! I've always used this product ever taking on my blondeness, it works amazing to prime the hair prior to coloring, thanks to Sally I do everything myself and this filler helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a boost of shine and toning I’ve used this protein filler to boost my hair after going from red to blonde. It puts a good level of shine back into the hair and works well as a toner. Does make my hair sort of brittle/dry though, so I wouldn’t recommend on hair that has been over-processed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as filler over blonde Worked well as filler. A little thin and hard to apply, but did the job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s ok This immediately worked, but it bleeds A LOT! Beautiful initial color, though. I wish it lasted longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product Ive bleached my hair from dark brown to platinum for many years. I decided to go back to my natural color and let it grow out grey. I used this filler to keep my hair from turning green and to help my hair hold the color better. I LOVED the outcome!

I got bleached blonde highlights in my dark brown curly hair late July, and I really don’t like the look on me. What filler would I use before applying a dark brown dye on my hair to avoid the green outcome?

Asked by: kayla762
I would use a filler that is close to the color results you want. Since your color is dark brown i would find a filler that is close to that color this will help the color latch onto the pigment. The reason why light blonde colors and even gray hairs like i have fade so fast or if you color them they just stain at best. This is because the light color hair is lacking pigment (color within the hair shaft) when you apply color to it it has to have some pigment (color) to latch on to . This is where your filler comes in handy it fills in that shaft so that when the color is applied it latches onto it and processes and stays in . Now it may not do a good as job had it been virgin hair unprocessed but its the best we got out there is the filler way. Find one as close to the color results you want. Good Luck !

which color of color fill products is best for changing blonde highlights back to light brown.

Asked by: Annette02
I always used red protein filler to go from blonde to brunette. The red helps to add dimension back to your hair since brown can be a bit dull or greenish-looking after coloring back, especially if you’re using a light brown or ashy color, in my experience. Protein filler doesn’t really add any noticeable color on its own but it’s enough to make a difference in the end result. Good luck!

my hair is faded blonde/pink from manic panic and i want to dye it back to my natural brown hair color which is warm brown, which filler do i use to make the brown all even and not green?

Ignore the answer above, you will need a gold color permanent hair dye for your filler!

I had my hair professionally bleached roughly two months ago. Its a light goldish blonde. I would like to dye the underneath black. Which one should I use as a filler?

Asked by: Katherine516
I wouldn’t use any of these. I would use the Neutral protein filler.

Hiya i was bleach blonde and put a light brown on and ive got a dank greeny brown could i use this n then put a medium brown on top

I'm not a color expert then only thing i use this for is to refresh my auburn hair color i mix it in my conditioner bottle and keeps the red from fading. But i would ask a color expert before i made my next move with your hair you can call 1-800-CLAIROL and they can answer questions i been using their hotline for decades. Or you can call a local salon that does colorings and ask for advise most don't mind answering questions like that over the phone. Good Luck !

My hair is bleach blonde and I would like to go back to brunette , should I get the red or the brown filler?

Asked by: Sara8819
I would use the red if you are going for a warm brown, or the brown if you want a more neutral brown.

So I just dyed my hair radiant black raspberry but it came out looking my of a dark purple. Can I add the warm brown or red filler to bring out the black?

Asked by: Rachel26
Adding it now won't help because your pores right now are filled with the radiant black raspberry dye. If you still want this colour, I say when that dye is out of your hair, fill your hair with warm brown beforehand. You can also try red, but since black raspberry sounds red, you might get too much red tones.
