Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nothing special *Pictures* The woman who helped me swore this was a miracle product that would get rid of the orange spots on my hair. I didn’t want to lift my roots at all so using Wella was out. I followed directions exactly and nothing happened. I tried again the next day and let it sit for 6 mins. It toned my blonde to a bluish tint and didn’t even touch the orange spots. After a wash my mid/ends look good but the orange is still orange. I was hopeful because this seems to have a blue base to combat the orange. No luck. Bottom is before, top is after.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than shimmering lights Smells way better and cleans hair better than shimmering lights. Works just as well, if not better, to tone down brassy tones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and works! Bought this yesterday because I highlighted my hair at home and i didn’t let the top process long enough, leaving my roots brassy. Went to a beauty store and bought this at the suggestion of an employee and used it the next morning ( I was sick of washing my hair after highlighting and toning). It turned out great! Can barely tell that there was ever a brassy color.

My hair has been blond for years. Now im letting it go natural which is white white. The ends still have some light blonding. Very light but next to my natural color looks dirty. Will the Brass Color Correcting help this any?

Asked by: Mackster74
Be careful to cover ONLY the yellow, brassy strands and leave the white alone. I lighten my hair/roots every ten weeks to a dark golden/strawberry blonde. When I tried this, it toned the brassiness very well but my highlights(pale ash blonde) became a violet color like the youngsters wear as fashion colors. This is more potent than any other toner I've tried. May want to leave it on for just a few minutes to see how it affects your color.

Does this take out yellow color on my roots

Asked by: Meyer123
Yes, but temporarily. I use this every two weeks to tone the yellow.

Does the hair have to be COMPLETELY dry, or just a little damp since it’s being towel dried?

Asked by: haleysue917
Doesn't need to be dry. I shampoo, dab dry with a towel(my hair is porous and takes forever to dry), and apply this to damp, freshly washed hair. Works well.

What can I use to get orange hair blonde? I have naturally blonde hair but dyed it dark. I used color oops twice and it is a light orange color and won’t lighten anymore. What should I do?

Asked by: HannahND
You will have to bleach your hair. Toner will not lift color, and the orangey color you’re talking about is not lifted enough for a toner to even work. Color oops doesn’t remove ALL of the color, especially if you used a box dye.

Why does my hair have a purple tone to it?

Asked by: Vick_miguez
I was told by my hair dresser that you should only leave purple shampoo on for 30 seconds to a minute or it will turn your hair purple. Were you leaving it on for longer?
