I have pretty much the same question as Beard Guy above. I'd like to try this when I tint my eyebrows, but need to know whether it would prevent the tint from being absorbed by my brows.

Asked by: SukiSault
No it actually won't prevent the dye from absorbing into the hair shaft, which is exactly what you want... just not the dye absorbing into the skin. So you're good there! However, I find applying eyebrow tint with a micro brow brush as thin hair Strokes throughout the brow works great and gives you a little extra color stained in the skin for a couple days in your sparse areas. It's almost like a non permanent microblading look.

Does this work better than vaseline?

Asked by: Nerdy and I know it
I haven't tried vaseline, but this works well, really good, on my hair. I use black color and this color can be stubborn. Repelle really helps.

Just in case I touch some hair while applying, will it prevent the hair in that area from absorbing the dye ?

Asked by: BeardGuy
The hair will still absorb the dye. I use this when I dye my eyebrows and rub it all over my eyebrow and skin around it prior to putting the dye on.
