Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful I bought this several months ago. I’ve been lightening my own hair at home for over 3 years. I have never used a product as bad as this one (minus one unfortunate drug store purchase before I did any proper research). Being made for sensitive skin and safe for use on the scalp is a total lie. This burned my entire head and around my face, and I don’t mean just some redness, if actually peeled and flaked like a really bad sunburn. I only left it in ten minutes and then rinsed immediately after I started to feel it burn. It did a terrible patchy job of lightening my hair but of course I couldn’t even leave it in for a long enough time. The aftermath of its use was terrible as well, my hair was so dry and brittle, it snapped and fell out in clumps. In the past so many years I have NEVER had this happen. This is simply a bad product. No better, or even worse, than some garbage drug store 40 volume generic bleach kit. I will never use it again and the rest of the bottle was thrown in the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product It works! Used it on me, and I previously colored hair. Used it on a friend who had natural virgin hair. Both got great result while using it. Will recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results with no damage I love this for lighting. Be patient. I feel like this doesn’t trash the hair. I use only small amounts of heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice blue bleach This is very nice! It was much more gentle but it did lift several shades in 30 min. My hair is pretty dark and dyed multiple times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Bleach I use I've been bleaching my hair for years and always hated the discomfort. I tried this bleach out and now it's all I've been using for the past maybe 2-3 years. The 1 lb. size also lasts me a really long time if I'm just bleaching my roots! Always nice to not worry about running out of bleach

How big is this? And how many uses can I get out of this?

Asked by: Mykiethunderr
It’s one pound. You get the same number of uses as any other 1 lb. tub. That depends on how much you use in each service. I love this bleach because of no bleach odor. It’s great for highlights and foils. In fact, it’s my favorite!

Is this a violet or blue bleach powder? I've read that blue takes out orange and violet takes out yellow. I've already used a tub of blue with 30 dev. Now that my hair is yellowish I'm wondering if this will take out most of the yellow tones.

Asked by: DaisyC1025
Hi! If you’ve already lightened your hair then I would suggest a violet toner to take out the yellow tones without doing extensive damage (: but the powder itself it purple.

I have a lot of hair (curly and thick) and usually put around 6 ion hair box to dye my whole head. I want to bleach my hair will I be good with just one bottle?

Asked by: CurlyGirl1997
I would say yes. You will also need an equal amount of developer.

I have been coloring my hair every color under the rainbow for the past 5 or 6 years. I have been trying to find bleaches the help remove super vibrant color and will not fry. Natural color is brown to dark brown. Will this work?

Asked by: Greenstar
what are you rainbowing with? If you've used "direct dyes", colors which do not get mixed with developer, then your best bet is blank canvas (not sold by sally's) or Pravana 000 with 20 volume peroxide (see amazon or walmart) 25 plus years licensed stylist. If you have used oxidative color- coloars that do use devolopers then the Pravana color extractor is amazing as well. (Sorry sally's) They do sell several color removers like the one from BTZ which works pretty well. Also grab yourself some Aphogee two part repair packets that stuff does miracles

I recently bleached and dyed my hair blonde and I love it but I would love to go alot lighter without bleaching it again will this help?

Asked by: Spacebee
This is a bleach, just without ammonia. It works exactly like bleach, less harm to hair, better fragrance. I use this exclusively for bleaching. For on the scalp, I would use 20 vol developer.

I've been coloring my hair with 3N (hoping for a chocolate brown) for a few years, applying to my entire hair every time instead of just the roots. Now it's completely black and overprocessed. Will this help lift it back to brown? How soon can I re-color?

Asked by: AmeliaDavis
Hi! I would advise trying a hair color remover product before opting to use lightener. On dark Hair if you use lightener (bleach) it could go extremely orange and brassy.. not to mention it will become very dry and damaged! Bleach is very damaging to the hair and I only use it when lifting my hair before dying it fun colors (my hair is purple). Use caution and be careful! Hope you get your hair how you want it!
