Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 years using this! Best bleach ever, I have been bleaching my hair platinum blonde for almost 8 year. I have dark brown hair and this is the only bleach that lightens my roots to platinum with just 1 application using a 30 volume peroxide. I have tried the rest and this is the one that works the best for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, bad quantity It’s a good hair bleach, it lightened my hair nicely and the directions were straightforward. The only think I dislike is how much product actually comes in such a big tub. I have thick, shoulder length hair and I’ve estimated that it’ll only be enough to bleach my whole hair maybe 4 or 5 times which is disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! This bleach is so easy to use! If your a beginner, I suggest using 20 volume. If this isn't your first rodeo, then go 30 volume! My hair is naturally very dark (almost black) and I had box dye on it (dark dye). Using two and half scoops of the bleach powder with 30 volume I was able to cover my whole head (thick hair down to the bottom of my shoulder blades) and have it blonde within 30 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totes Recommend! Worked beautifully on my dark purple hair! I had to bleach it twice to reach the level of desired lightness... I used the quick blue along with coconut oil on my hair prior, and I have minimal damage, little breakage, and the pale yellow tone which was my goal

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Powerful! I normally use the Wella Powder Lightener, but I decided to give this one a try. I used this along with 30 developer on my virgin hair, and was able to lighten it from level 2 black to about a 7 or 8 within only an hour. The bleach does sting my scalp and make it a little itchy, but is expected from a lightener as strong as this. I’ve been lightning my hair for about 3 years now so I’m comfortable with everything, but I’d recommend new users to do a lot of research on how to use the different components correctly.

I have dark brown hair, would I need toner with this?

Asked by: Trashwaifu
Depends on how light you need to go but mine still always turns out a little brassy when I bleach my roots. Not horrible, definitely works better than most bleaches but if you need just blond, then I would recommend a toner.

I have short (~1" long) dark brown hair, between a level 2 and 3, and I want to go to a very white level 10 so I can go for a pastel color. If I get this, what vol developer would I need, and would I need additional toner? I'm okay with multiple processes

Asked by: Becca LS
Remember bleach literally strips and breaks down hair. It is not moisturizing in any way.  After bleaching my hair and going for the platinum white look quickly; it was a complete disaster.  Go slow. Now when I bleach I double the volumizer and go slow. You can use TONER; and you will need it!!!  Most toners are natural and you can use often.  Take it slow, this is the BEST bleach on the market in my opinion.

So I have dark brown (black ) curly hair and I’m trying to go platinum silver. I’m doing it myself because I’m cheap and It’s hard to find salons to do my type of hair without paying a arm and a leg. What are the best products to use??

Asked by: Mulatto252
If you have virgin dark brown hair, zero die on it at all then I would use this bleach and I personally use a 40 developer. However if you've never bleached your hair before I would start with a 20 developer. I use a sensitive on scalp developer that's what I would recommend. If you are trying to get platinum hair you will need to use foils A cap will not get you the level of blonde you are trying to achieve. You're probably going to need a toner as well I would use the ion in bright white to achieve the look You're going for.also make sure you section your hair I would recommend at least four sections but if you have thick hair and as you stated you have curly hair I would go for at least six sections of hair It is very time-consuming and your arms are probably going to give out so if you have a friend it could help you That's the way I recommend rolling. Also make sure that your bleach is the right consistency It should be more along the lines of paste compared to conditioner. Best luck and I hope you get your desired look

I have dark brown hair and want to balayage lighten (blond tips, lighter ash mid-section, dark roots). How do I do this (glop thickly on ends and brush upward?) and what toner(s) should I use to get rid of the yellow, orange, red after bleaching?

Asked by: Therese B
Start in the middle of your hair first and work your way to your tips. Your tips will lighten quicker so do them last. This is the mother of all bleaches so if you have experience you can use a higher developer I use a 40 personally however if you have never used this product or bleach your hair before I would suggest using a 20 developer. Do not glob bleach on your He need to take the time to section your hair out preferHe need to take the time to section your hair out preferably in at least four sections but more is better. Your bleach should be a thick almost with a sandy consistency. As for the yellow orange or brassy tones that will follow. I recommend using Wella Color Charm T18. Best of luck

What would I mix with the powder and what toner would I use?

Depending what color you're trying to get. I am really new at this because this my first attemp.  Also, I went to YouTube and got my information there.   Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

can it be used to bleach a human hair wig

Asked by: miss leigh
Yes, it can be used to bleach human hair on wigs. As long as you know for sure it’s human hair. You may need to tone it depending on what outcome you desire.  All cosmetologist learn on mannequins in school.

So I’ve never bleached my hair, but I only want to do my ends and naturally I have extremely dark brown hair, would this work ?

Asked by: plantsjuice
The bleach works great. I’ve used it from black to blonde in basically two sessions with my sister. Since your hair is darker, I’d go with a higher volume developer.
