Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color faded fast. Washed out completely in 3 washes. Started fading after one wash. That’s with a salon color protecting shampoo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy. This is the best at home permanent hair color, I have ever tried. It really covers the grey and it lasts. Can't decide which I prefer, liquid or cream. Either way, can't go wrong.

I use dark ash blonde but it’s hard to cover my greys.  Should I use another color, perhaps a little darker?   My natural hair color is black.  Also what’s the best hair developer volume to use?

Asked by: Natasha20
I can't recommend a color but do recommend 20 volume developer. One other suggestion is to use shampoo that protects color. Some shampoo can strip color. Also, Ion has a conditioner to use following color that protects your hair.

I have been using One and Only for a few years, just not covering the gray enough anymore. My hair is about 30% gray on the top. It is naturally a medium shade of dark brown. Does this coloring run dark or light?(My hair is too light and red from O&O 5G)

Asked by: MaryW057
After awhile with the same product it tends to lose its color fast. I just recent switched to Loreal Extreme Browns and found the colors to be true and really covers all the gray for roughly 5 to 6 weeks. …...hope this helps. It may take a couple of times before you get rid of the red as red is one of the hardest colors to get out. I happen to love red bit mix it with warm light beige. If I was you I would try the warm brown beige first and then go up a level until you get the color you want.

How is this Age Beautiful different than the liquid I have been using where I mix developer with it. Is this more like a paste and does it not use a developer?

Asked by: Judith Sauers
You still use developer— I find that I get better coverage and can go 4 weeks between applications— I’m 56 and found myself needing to color my hair at about the 3 week mark with other brands

Good for gray hair

Asked by: Daralynn
Best coverage for gray and won't fade. I've used Clairol and Loreal and neither one has the coverage that this one does.

I use Age Beautiful 20 volume golden blonde, I would like a lighter blonde, like my first cut @ 2 years old. It was a soft very light blonde.   I am 64, would it hide the grays better? My 20 volume gold. blonde has gotten darker. how can I fix that?

Asked by: dcvanous
You might try 9N, it is lighter than the 8G and is a neutral blonde. I used to use 7G and over the last year I have gradually lightened to a level 9 and the gray doesn't seem to be so quick to show.
