AGEbeautiful Anti-Aging Permanent Liquid Hair Color with Vitamin E has been proven to fight all five signs of aging hair and is infused with scalp and hair moisturizing Vitamin E for shiny healthy hair. A healthy scalp is the foundation for healthy hair. Scalp sebum decreases by 50% as we age, causing the scalp and hair to become dry and dull. Our hair experiences five other signs of aging; it loses volume, manageability, color, moisture, and shine. AGEbeautiful penetrates deeply and absorbs quickly to cover gray 100% leaving hair feeling fuller, silkier, and radiant with shine.

  • Mixing and Application: AGEbeautiful liquid hair color is best used with an applicator bottle. AGEbeautiful hair color is mixed 1:1 (Equal parts AGEbeautiful hair color and AGEbeautiful developer.) AGEbeautiful high lift blondes is mixed 1:2 (2 oz AGEbeautiful color and 4oz AGEbeautiful 40-Volume developer). Pour developer into applicator bottle according to above formulation. Pour entire 2 oz. tube of color into applicator bottle. Mix well. Apply color.

Developer Usage and Timing (without heat): 20 Volume (6%) Lifts 1 to 2 levels depending on the color chosen. 30 minutes for regular application. 45 minutes for 50% or more gray hair. Rinse, shampoo, and condition.

(We recommend AGEbeautiful shampoo, conditioner, and styling products for the most beautiful results.)

  • Always perform a preliminary patch test prior to using haircolor. Wait one week and one shampoo after relaxer or perm service before coloring. For best results use with AGEbeautiful dedicated developers in an applicator bottle.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really disappointed I bought this brand because its supposed to be cruelty free, and it claims to be anti aging to hair. But its 100% worse than box dye. First off this permanent dye isn't even strong enough to cover semi permanent dye, something box dye has easily done for me. So now half of my hair is one color and the other half something else. Sally's never has the colors I'm looking for in stock but the employee talked me to trying a different color and formula than what I originally came in for. Big mistake all around. Now I have to spend another $10 elsewhere to fix the mistake. Also the color I got was strawberry blonde, but it looks like boring brown. No hint of a pretty red. And lastly this stuff made my hair feel so damaged. Way worse than box dye. My hair felt like straw afterwards. I won't buy this again and would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well for covering grey. I accidentally bought the liquid not the cream as usual and was worried it would run all over but I actually like this better. Using the cream bleach went on better then the cream color mixed with the cream bleach. I had better coverage with this. I will buy more next time.

I want to let my hair grow out to natural gray. What color should I use while it is growing out. My regular color is dark blonde to light brown.

Asked by: SandyLou
I'd use a blonde slightly lighter than your natural color with the 10 developer so your natural color shows through. Then as you have less and less of the darker natural color use an even lighter blonde until it is light enough to stop coloring. When I'm transitioning to a lighter color I mix the darker and lighter for awhile before just switching to the lighter.

What is the difference between liquid and cream color?

Asked by: Kris2289
The liquid is liquid in a bottle and is easy to measure. It gets thick when the developer is added but not as thick as the cream. The cream is cream in a squeeze tube that is much more difficult to measure if you're not using the whole thing at once.

Hi Virginia, I encountered the same problem and found colors did NOT match across brands. My solution was to order online and have not had any issues since and I can shop in my jammies!

What's the meaning / difference in 4V dark plum brown vs 3V dark plum brown? What does 4V and 3V indicate?

Asked by: Forevaeva
The number before the letter is the level of darkness the hair will be. The smaller the number the darker the hair color so 3v is a very dark almost black with a tint of purple. Where as 4 will be a medium brown with purple.

Is this product for African American hair?

Asked by: Needanewcolorproduct
I am African American and have used Ageless for the last 3 years and very satisfied and it does cover my grey well.  At first I wasn’t leaving it on my hair as long as recommended (time constraints) and the grey was only barely taking the color.  When I started leaving it in the recommended time, PERFECT and even coloring!!!

I purchased 4 boxes of air beautiful hair creams and I had ask the girl that worked there if I needed anything else for the dye, she said no. Do I need a developer for this i usually use the hair dye that comes with it?

Asked by: NikkiRodriguez
Yes you do, It would normally be 2 oz of developer per box, I use the same brand and its the Creme 20 Developer, because my scalp is sensitive. If you have alot of grey to cover like me I also use the Gray Magic Color Additive .25oz and I think its like 10-15 drops per 1 box of color.

Will this take the awful red splat hair dye out of my hair

Asked by: Laurahaynes32
That is a tough question. This application does have peroxide in it which acts as a bleaching agent, at the same time it makes hair more porous which helps it accepts deposit of color. In my opinion, you will end up with a color not advertised as on the box. If I were you I would go to the store and let the beauty consultant in store the best method to remove splat which is dye based. Disclaimer: I am not a licensed professional

Do you need a toner to go with this? Well it take orange out of your hair.

Asked by: Mo d 77757
It all depends. I found that 8N in Age Beautiful left my hair less brassy than 5A Revlon Colorsilk. I added 1 tsp of Wella 050 Cooling Violet to the dye. However, I'm not lightening my hair. I'm covering gray and trying to mimic my natural color as much as possible.

What is the difference between AGEbeautiful Anti-Aging Permanent Liquid Creme Hair Color and Anti-Aging Permanent Liquid Hair Color with Vitamin E? Which one do you recommend to use for hair coloring? Is the hair color result the same? Thanks

Asked by: Ed Touma
The creme hair color comes in a tube while the liquid comes in a bottle. I use the liquid since I color my roots bi-weekly and use 1 or 2 ounces of color. It is just a preference. I believe they are exactly the same product just different consistency.

Age Beautiful Permanent Hair Color - Can you explain what the letters mean after the numbers, for example, 9N, 10A, HLA.

Asked by: Jcoll6021
N- natural- has the 3 primary colors in them, depending on the level 1-9 Levels 4-6 have more of blue & red unlike Levels 7-9 they have more red & yellow Remember the color wheel. A- ash- is usually made of blue and red or some companies actually use green. Yellow-red combinations. Using green in Florida in any color has NOT been very friendly in any form. Floridians are always in water, from pools, rivers, lakes, even muddy waters. I have found that with people who are water lovers, especially blondes, should use blue and yellow base ashes. Again use the color wheel. HLA- perfect for all Florida blondes Perfect ash, HLN- perfect for all natural blondes

I have about 5-10% grey hair (very noticeable when I pull my hair up in a ponytail). Since I have long, low porosity, brown/black, coarse asian hair, should I just get the 5N or get something a bit darker?

Asked by: lnguyen41
I regularly use 5N and it is very dark brown but it covers the gray. I would recommend only covering the gray and not color the rest of your hair.

Does it matter what creme developer you use?I have Argan Oil 20 Volume Cream Developer on hand or do I need the Age Beautiful developer specifically?

Asked by: footfree
I used a 20 vol developer. I don't think it was the same brand, but it really shouldn't matter. 20 should work fine and the argan oil will help keep your hair from feeling icky when you're done, so nice choice!

I used the darker shade of red previously about 8 weeks ago and would like to go to the strawberry blonde in same line. Will my hair take the new color completely or will it just be new growth?

Asked by: Eilaberle
I think you should use a highlift blonde you’re going to have to remove most of the dark red and then the next time you color then start with your strawberry blonde color

What color works best on gray

Asked by: PunkieBear
All of them work well. It just depends what color you want. If you want it to blend with what is left with your original color, use a lighter shade than your original natural color and the 10 developer. That way just the gray will get covered and it'll be a pretty blend of your original color and the color you choose. You don't have to use the same color just one that blends, like strawberry blond color to cover the gray in brown hair.
