Rated 4 out of 5 by from Influenster Review Influenster sent this to me for free to try and then review. As I put this on, I definitely noted that the smell was strong and not a good smell at all. I did a root touch up then combed thru to the ends to blend. I got really nervous because I saw congealed pieces of dye as I combed thru my hair. I washed out after 20 minutes just nervous and anxious. Turned out ok stained my skin/scalp but most do. Gray covered but a couple of strands seen. I will try this product again other than the smell the color was ok. Not shiny or Matt but coated the strands.

Where can I find ash blonde liquid from Age beautiful

Asked by: PPURBAN12
There are some shades (including mine 5R) that are no longer available in liquid. You might be able to find some remaining stock by shopping around. That helped me for a while. Since then I've switched brands. Good luck.

I currently use 5n. But it seems to fade out to a brown brassy color. I was thinking of doing either 5A or 6A over it to get rid of some of the red. Which color is lighter the 5 or 6? Based off the picture online the 5 looked lighter....

Asked by: Frankie94
6 is lighter. Or you could use a Wella toner with 10 volume developer. I also use sulfate free shampoo and lavender color conditioner a couple times a month.

I have extramly difficult grey hair, mots colour only lasts a few days on it. Even with using grey magic in the colour. What can I use to make it last longer?

Asked by: Greyeagle
This is what works for me with very good results. I mix one part color to one part 30 volume developer and grey magic. I put it on my roots and after about 25 minutes I add water to the rest of the mixture and cover the rest of my hair with that. In another 5 to 10 minutes I wash my hair.

I want to let my hair grow out to natural gray. What color should I use while it is growing out. My regular color is dark blonde to light brown.

Asked by: SandyLou
I'd use a blonde slightly lighter than your natural color with the 10 developer so your natural color shows through. Then as you have less and less of the darker natural color use an even lighter blonde until it is light enough to stop coloring. When I'm transitioning to a lighter color I mix the darker and lighter for awhile before just switching to the lighter.

What is the difference between liquid and cream color?

Asked by: Kris2289
The liquid is liquid in a bottle and is easy to measure. It gets thick when the developer is added but not as thick as the cream. The cream is cream in a squeeze tube that is much more difficult to measure if you're not using the whole thing at once.

I usually buy the Ion brand but can’t find my colors.  If I use a different brand will the color number for ex. 9N of one brand be pretty similar to a 9N of a different brand?

Asked by: Virginia67676767
Hi Virginia, I encountered the same problem and found colors did NOT match across brands. My solution was to order online and have not had any issues since and I can shop in my jammies!

What's the meaning / difference in 4V dark plum brown vs 3V dark plum brown? What does 4V and 3V indicate?

Asked by: Forevaeva
The number before the letter is the level of darkness the hair will be. The smaller the number the darker the hair color so 3v is a very dark almost black with a tint of purple. Where as 4 will be a medium brown with purple.

Is this product for African American hair?

Asked by: Needanewcolorproduct
I am African American and have used Ageless for the last 3 years and very satisfied and it does cover my grey well.  At first I wasn’t leaving it on my hair as long as recommended (time constraints) and the grey was only barely taking the color.  When I started leaving it in the recommended time, PERFECT and even coloring!!!

I purchased 4 boxes of air beautiful hair creams and I had ask the girl that worked there if I needed anything else for the dye, she said no. Do I need a developer for this i usually use the hair dye that comes with it?

Asked by: NikkiRodriguez
Yes you do, It would normally be 2 oz of developer per box, I use the same brand and its the Creme 20 Developer, because my scalp is sensitive. If you have alot of grey to cover like me I also use the Gray Magic Color Additive .25oz and I think its like 10-15 drops per 1 box of color.

Will this take the awful red splat hair dye out of my hair

Asked by: Laurahaynes32
That is a tough question. This application does have peroxide in it which acts as a bleaching agent, at the same time it makes hair more porous which helps it accepts deposit of color. In my opinion, you will end up with a color not advertised as on the box. If I were you I would go to the store and let the beauty consultant in store the best method to remove splat which is dye based. Disclaimer: I am not a licensed professional

Do you need a toner to go with this? Well it take orange out of your hair.

Asked by: Mo d 77757
It all depends. I found that 8N in Age Beautiful left my hair less brassy than 5A Revlon Colorsilk. I added 1 tsp of Wella 050 Cooling Violet to the dye. However, I'm not lightening my hair. I'm covering gray and trying to mimic my natural color as much as possible.

What is the difference between AGEbeautiful Anti-Aging Permanent Liquid Creme Hair Color and Anti-Aging Permanent Liquid Hair Color with Vitamin E? Which one do you recommend to use for hair coloring? Is the hair color result the same? Thanks

Asked by: Ed Touma
The creme hair color comes in a tube while the liquid comes in a bottle. I use the liquid since I color my roots bi-weekly and use 1 or 2 ounces of color. It is just a preference. I believe they are exactly the same product just different consistency.
