  • Contains precious argan oil
  • Rich gray coverage

Determine the natural depth or level of the hair. Next, determine the percentage of gray. Determine the desired level and shade. The mixing ratio is 1:2 (1 part color for 2 parts developer).

Use 10 Volume developer for deposit only or 1 level of lift; 20 Volume developer for 2 levels of lift; 30 Volume developer for 3 levels of lift; 40 Volume developer for 4 levels of lift.

Application: wearing plastic gloves, mix a tint brush (or mix color with developer in an applicator bottle, shaking gently). Apply color using a tint brush or applicator bottle.

Processing time: 30 minutes for standard application; 45 minutes for maximum gray coverage. Application for hair that has not been color. Section hair into 4 sections from ear to ear and down the center.

Take ½-inch sections and apply color starting ½ inch away from the scalp.

Apply color to the shaft of the hair. (Note: if the ends are porous, don’t bring color through to them).

Continue to do this until all four sections are completed. Process for 15 minutes. Then, apply color to the root area. Process for an additional 15 minutes (total processing time of 30 minutes).

For gray coverage, process for 45 minutes. Once the hair color has processed, rinse, shampoo and condition. Retouch application: section the hair into four sections and apply color to the re-growth area.

Process for 30 minutes. If you are covering gray, process for 45 minutes.

To refresh previously colored hair, work the remainder of the color through the ends and process for up to 5 minutes before the end of processing time. Once the hair color has processed, rinse, shampoo and conditioner.

Wait one week after a straightening or a perm to color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I am so disappointed this product is going to be discontinued. This was my first time trying this product and I loved it. It didn't stain my skin, it smelled good and it left my hair silky and smooth.

I use your dark medium blonde product, my hair is originally dark brown with gray mixed in. The results are always reddish light brown highlights. How do I correct the red?

Asked by: Jeri Donlon
Sorry just saw u are using NN series. So try using 5nn or 4nn instead of 6nn and also use 10 volume ( instead if 20 volume to reduce the red/orange undertones but generally requires the full 45 minute processing

Is this line cruelty free?

Asked by: jewelspr74
To my understanding...… Yes. It works well too. I have been trained by several of the major color companies; additionally, I am a licensed cosmetology educator... this is my color line of choice. I love the results.

What is the difference between 3N and 3NN? What does Double Natural mean?

Asked by: Cmartinez16
Hello, double series like NN has double pigment, so more coverage and darker shade GREAT for hard to cover grays;-)

Do I purchase developer separately? If so, which is most comparable? I've am dying my husband's beard a d moustache. Would this be the best type of permanent dye with the least amount of ammonia?

Asked by: jeraldinealice97
Yes, you would need to require a developer separately. One n' Only also sells its own developer in store so I usually buy that one along with the hair dye.
