Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adjusting to life during the pandemic It is very gentle on my hair. Colors all of the gray. P. S. With the closure of beauty salons my husband started dying my hair for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too orange I had worse results this time than in the past, although I've used this product before without problem. The color is too orange and it seems to burn a little during application - never had that happen before.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Garbage! It smells horrible (it took 4 washes for the smell to disipate), made my hair feel like straw and I still had some white hair poking through in spots! Don't waste your time or money! Also I got the 6RV and it has a horrible old lady pink undertone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay Not as good as creams. Colored nicely but hard to mix it up well. And more transparent so harder to see coverage on hair.

Hello, I am having issues with colors turning my hair blue, green and so forth. I am looking for a color that once it wears off, I want my gray to show. Does this color do that? I am looking for just natural black.

Asked by: Tawanna J
Hello I have been using this product for over 20 years and it works great!! I never get any other colors except the one it says on the box. And when it grows out it will show your grey hair at the roots. I highly recommend this product to anyone. Good luck!

My hair is a bright 613 I want to go darker. Maybe a light 27. Since my hair is already blonde can I opt out the developer? What should I do? What brands should I use?

Asked by: Pinkiiiii
Use the 10 volume with the next darker color

What shade of Wella toner do I use with a 20 volume developer to achieve a frosted white colour? I am presently using a 12A/B Super Ultra Light Ash Blond by Tressa (Colourage) which covers my mostly grey hair but want to transition from blonde to white.

Asked by: GreatWhiteNorth
It may take trying more than one shade and/or changing to 30 volume developer to reach the shade you want. I'd start with 1200N/1200 high lift blonde. Let us know how you like it and if you made changes like mixing colors to make it work for you.

I have medium to dark blonde roots coming in & the rest is a light blonde. Can I bought 10N/ satin blonde with 20 volume developer. Can I use this on the roots & then pull through to the ends the last 10 minutes? Or do I need to bleach the roots first?

Asked by: Abbeyburns
The method you're suggesting is the way I've touched up my roots for many years. It should work fine.

Will this cover pink

Asked by: BROKEN40
Not for sure with the pink but I have a lot of heavy grey at my roots and it does a good job of covering that. I use 20 vol and equal parts,,,,

For 15 years I’ve bleach my hair white/blonde using powder bleach with 30vol developer. Now it’s badly damaged. I want to go a bit darker but my hair usually will not even hold any color. What can I do?

Asked by: Ginger4u
Use a protein filler first and then color with a demi permanent dye.

My color gel box says 7AA/632. I can't find that number in your list. Help!

Asked by: annet7228
Use 7a. 7a is ash. 7aa is more ash.
