Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shine! Color charm gel is the best hair coloring product that I have ever used. It gave my hair a healthy vibrant shine that I have never had.until now. It infused my hair with softness and moisture. I think there is a lot to be said for gel colorants. I hope it lasts after several washings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is Excellent I love Wella Color Charm products. Previously I used the liquid version, but this gel in the tube is even better. The consistency is easy to apply and does not run or drip. I mixed the color and applied with a bottle, then used a brush to ensure complete coverage. The finished results looked even and shiny, and the color is beautiful. I'm a graying natural blonde about 9 level and use 1036 Honey Blonde with 20 volume developer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to for color Consistent results, natural color, my hair is kind so I can reapply the color each time & not just focus on the roots or worry about blending. Covers grey, thankfully!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long Lasting Color I used the Wella Color Charm a few years ago but then started using another brand. I decided to give the Wella another try a few months ago. The neutral shade still has some reddish hue to it but it definitely lasts a lot longer than other brands I have tried. There is a bit of a drying effect immediately after use but this can be rectified with a leave in conditioner.

Which shade would give me a golden medium blonde? I have white/gray hair at roots. Find the gardnier medium blonde is too light now. Can't use ash cause white hair turns to gray. Would like to try gel color understand it colors better. Which color?

Asked by: Goldie392
Well, my hair is also white/gray and I started using a mix of medium and light blonde, Ash! adding drops of the red corrector plus (I don't like red tones), of course I apply only to roots, to protect my highlights, that I get re-done only twice a year. Now I'm using Color Charm permanent gel haircolor 7AA/632 Medium blonde intense Ash and as usual I add the drops of the red corrector (follow instructions about se), color is beautiful, blends perfectly with my hair and very stylish, as roots look just a bit darker giving an attractive contrast to the highlights. I hope this helps.

What color developer.  I am going to use this color for the first time.  Used Loreal in the past in a red shade but it no longer is red when I am finished.  I will try Wella What color developer should I use?   I am totally gray.

Asked by: Kathy76H
If your totally grey you don't need a high volume developer. 20 would be perfect to lighten your hair and have less damage that comes from the 30 or 40 volume.

My hair is salt and pepper but I really want to brighten the silver plus lighten the darker areas. What should I do?

Asked by: Armymom02
I would try a purple shampoo/conditioner first before using any permanent color products

So, I have dark brown virgin hair. I want to go ash brown. Like a light ash brown color. Any tips/suggestions?

Asked by: Zeezee221
Stick with a green base. Green is Ash. But depending on the level ash you may also consider a blue. Hair color is based on the color wheel artists use. If that helps.  Also pay attention to the number on the color 1-10. 1 is black 10 is the highest lift blonde. Start with a medium brown. You can always reapply with a darker color. However you can not lift a color with a color so always lean to the higher number for the lighter color.
