  • How to choose which Magnetic Brown shade is best for me? If your eye color is cool (blue, gray, dark brown, or black) try 4BC Iced Brown, 5BC French Roast, 6BC Suede or 8BC Light Bronze. If your eye shade is warm (green, hazel, amber or golden brown) try 4BB Dark Chocolate Brown, 5B Mocha, 6BB Toasted Hazelnut, or 8NB Caramel.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from French roast Hair dye didnt even cover my grays, for some reason made them red! Do yourself a favor and buy pro dye. This stuff is garbage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turned my hair green! I bought this Wella color in French roast and it turned my hair green and it wasn’t a subtle green. When I returned to exchange the second box of color the lady at Sally’s and I were both very confused. 10/10 do not recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color won’t match swatch I got the color 5NN chestnut brown because that is my natural hair color. I’ve previously dyed my hair with ion jet black hair dye however that was months ago and I wanted to go back to my natural color. I had to bleach the black out and I managed to get to pale blonde first application. then I put on the Wella color tango and my hair is BLACK AGAIN? I wasted all that time and money for nothing. 0/10

what is the color that is missing? I think its the one i loved. are they not makeing it any more /

Asked by: Maryzzzz
7BC is missing. I mix 7B with 6BC and it comes out simular, (I use a little more 7 than 6)the only thing is if your in the sun slot it gets more blond than the BC.

I would use light ash or medium blond if your natural hair color is dark.

I normally buy Wella 4BC in the store but don't see it online. How does 5BC compare?

Asked by: zealion79
This is the OP. My natural hair color is very close to 4BC and I'm using the product primarily to cover grays. Maybe my grays might look more like highlights if it's lighter?

I am needing to cover up a Revlon 48 Burgundy.....I used a 46 Medium Golden Chestnut and a 50 Light Ash Brown.....too much red, orange on my roots now, I hate it. Is this product something I could use to fix my orange problem????????

Asked by: Jessie Yost
it sounds like you got hot roots. this happens when you use a higher volume developer than you need. since your roots are closer to your scalp, the heat makes the developer work faster and can cause uneven coloring.

Is it amonia free?

Asked by: Kerenbadia
No it is not ammonia free, it does have Ammonium Hydroxide in it, which is an ammonia solution. I am using a shampoo and conditioner that does not fade or change my hair color after many washings. It is called Lanza. You can only get it at a license beauty supply or through your hair dresser.

Does it work

Asked by: Hzhhshdh
I love love this hair product! I have been using it for about ten months and my hair has never looked more healthy and shiny. My normal hair is pure white and it covers it perfectly. I purchased this when they were out of what I had been using and I will never go back. Highly recommend this product!!
