Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great lifter for natural hair ! This lifter gave me little to no damage and lifted pretty well , but don't forget to tone your hair unless you want orange hair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This color is amazing even works on dying my weave I buy this color almost every time I have to redo my roots honestly when I color my extensions I definitely stick with this color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stripped my color off I bought this to cover some gray and be slightly lighter than the color that I was using before, for summer. It turned my hair from a light brown to orange. My hair dried out terribly. I'm still trying to fix this, months later. Nothing wrong with Sally's! I should have stayed with my regular color. Lesson learned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Honey Blonde I am a natural level 5 to 6 brunette. Trying to go Strawberry Blonde for my hubby. The ends were already light auburn from previous coloring, so I think my roots are slighty more golden. I did not want to get a level 4 devolper and mix my own color. I saw this and thought it would be easier since everything is ready to go in kit. Most drugstore kits do not lighten more than 2 shades. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because my white hairs near temples did not cover completely.Maybe after some of my damaged hair at ends grow out a bit I could throw a few blonde streaks throughout so I dont notice those as much! Or maybe just get a root touch up powder for when my hair is pulled back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 384 my favorite I really like this product. I have red in my hair naturally, so when I color may hair any kind of blonde, it kind of turns orange. But with this hair color I really get the color I am looking for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total MESS #384!! This is not about Sally. This is about the product. Be careful when mixing! When I opened the package and read the instructions on adding a packet of High Life booster powder to the cream developer bottle, I had an uneasy feeling. First, it was a challenge to get the powder into the bottle. I followed the instructions and shook the bottle for more than 10 seconds and when I opened the bottle to add the highlighter, a good portion of the powder had collected in the cap and fell onto my workspace. While I was trying to scoop up the powder to get it back in the bottle, I knocked over the opened bottle of highlighter. I just threw away $7. I definitely won't be buying this product again.

Is this the color that you have to mix together or is it already mixed for you and just have to shake the color good?

Asked by: Jack5562
The kit comes with all the items you need. You will have to mix the two bottles together inside labeled 1 and 2 and it will create the color you need.

will the dye fade away after a certain amount of time

Asked by: Jeroooo4
Yes, eventually. I have been using this product  for at least 7 or 8 years. I use #378 every 4 months or so. As the color fades and new hair grows there’s a beautiful two tone. Keep in mind that all hair is different. How it looks will also depend on your natural color and the permanent color you’re using. My natural color is dark brown.

Might be a silly question but how long does this last? I dyed my hair almost 2 months ago but I've been waiting for the dye to fade out so I can re-dye it a different colour

Asked by: ednamir24
It's permanent. The color has to grow out.

I'm African-American and I have very soft hair. My hair is dark brown and I want to dye my hair black, but I dyed my hair about 4 or 5 wks ago. Is it safe for me to use this product now. (Without any damage.)

Asked by: Baldwin Margo
4-5 weeks is more than enough time for you to dye without receiving any damage. I would follow up with a deep conditioner just to give your texture that extra boost and protection after a process like dying
