Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be You Blue Used with a 10 developer as instructed and it came out a very dark blue which is what I expected with my base color being dark brown with grays. Helps blend grays into my dyed blue black hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not impressed I got make em blush and power to the purple. The make em blush barely colored my daughters hair and what it colored came out auburnish nothing close to pink like when I used rock on brand. Power to the purple was a little better in other daughters hair but again didn't take very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prettier colors than expected I used "tough as teal" & "be you blue" to get a geode color ombre under my daughter's hair for her first big hair coloring experience. I bleached first than used a measuring cup to use half of each tube(perfect amount with leftover for touch up) so 1oz:1oz developer. She's very happy so I'm happy. Hopefully it doesn't fade fast

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasted my money I bought 2 power to the purple and 1 be you blue and never of them worked/had pigment i wasted my money on 3 of these items. I mixed with the recommended amount of developer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from nice color but permanent is a lie i got this in the shade "be you blue" and while it starts out a gorgeous color, it fades faster than any semipermanent dye i've tried. understandably i'm disappointed that a similar color, marketed as semi permanent, from a different brand lasts longer than this one, which is marketed as permanent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the few oxidative colors for fashion colors I pre lightened my hair to a light blonde color, and then mixed Make 'em blush pink with 20 volume developer (it recommends 10 volume but I used 20). Applied as per the directions, and I came out with a pretty vibrant color. It has faded after shampooing, you could probably make the color last longer. I'm sad that it faded but it turned into a nice pastel pink.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Low coverage. Literally lightened my hair for this and I did not come out blue.

Can I just dye hair with this product directly or do I need to add other chemicals to it? I want to dye my daughters hair for prom

Asked by: Fluffy Mama
No you can't, you have to add a developer, 20, 30, or 40 volume, there are other products out there like ion neon or pastels, they are semi permanent, and you add nothing. No chemicals and non damaging, to hair.

Do you use this product right out of the box or do you have to mix it with something

Asked by: Alana1948
You have to mix it with developer. I used Ion sensitive scalp creme developer to mix this with.

can I use regular 30 or 40 developer with this?

Asked by: MaryMac3
Either devoloper would be fine, 40 going to lift faster, so check sooner on your hair.

i bough this in be you blue, my hair is dark brown. do you think if i use a 20 developer my hair will get some hints of blue? i don't want to bleach it :( thanks!

Asked by: anazuno13
Hi, based on my experiance with this product and its colors with your suggested method I would expect very very light hints of blue only at best. I have only used volume 10 developer so I can not be sure how much the 20 will effect the results but with dark hair this brand of color is not great in my trials. It really has a better effect on lighter hair colors. Hope this helps. Happy coloring.

If you are not coloring all your hair and just the ends can you not mix all the color with developer and it be ok to store for later? How long will it keep if stored?

Asked by: Newbie to pink
I used to store mixed colorful dyes in the fridge over a decade ago(yes a no no) I just put 2 colors under my daughter's hair and didn't need 8oz of product so I used half each tube 1oz. -1oz. Developer with a measuring cup and we still have 2 half tube for later.

hello! I was wondering if I put this on blonde hair would it turn white? or just be weird? I am gonna dye my hair white and teal and I don't know if it would work?

Asked by: SadButRad
I use the blue regularly and it works great...the teal on blonde hair might be more very light green than you are wanting. Maybe if you add some of the clear to the blue you will get the color you are looking for

Can i use this if i have dark hair

Asked by: Tasha987
You’ll probably need to do a bleach before using in the desired area. I’m a dark blonde and don’t bleach mine, and it’s a perfect rose gold on me. If you’re not sure, try a hidden strand underneath or something to test it out.
