Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed my very reddish brown hair I had a mental breakdown and bleached my hair and than dyed it Jessica rabbit red with splat hair dye which is way out of my comfort zone, hated it, covered it up with two more boxes of store bought hair dye and it ended up being a reddish brown that was better, but I still hated. So after letting my hair heal I bought color fix by Argan Oil and that stuff worked wonders, it took my hair to a blonde color with a red tint through out and I used the ion light intense ash brown hair dye over it and it’s perfect. Toned the red out and is very ashy. A lot more happy with my hair color now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Light intense Ash Brown I purchase the light intense Ash Brown.Hoping to tone down the red and cover up greys. But it did not cover Gray's what so ever. Have never been disappointed and ion before. But definitely will not repurchase. And I would not recommend if you are wanting to cover Gray's.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible item I wanted a violet/silver tone to my very light blonde hair, I bought silver and plum dye and applied evenly throughout my whole head and left in for the correct amount of time and got no results. The dye did not put any color into my hair nor even tone it the slightest bit. Really upset and would not recommend this item, the coloration and visibility of it is terrible and non exsistent. Never buying again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What happened to the ammonia-free version? The old version was better. The ammonia -free version. I was hoping this was the same, but it isn't as good.

Will this product turn my hair green, I now brassy Orange brown hair?

I will be using a 10 developer, would you recommend this or the original dark ash blonde?

Going from dark ash blonde to intense dark ash blonde

I have been using the Ion dark ash blonde for about a year now, 6A. I like it but my hair has a bit of warm undertone I'd prefer to get rid of. I want to try the intense dark ash blonde since it has a double dose of the cooling tones. Will this tone down the warmth in my hair. I know color doesn't lift color so I'm guessing it will not make my hair lighter. Should I use a hair color stripper before using this new shade or just continue my current shade and add a toner? Thanks for any advice.

Right now my hair is an auburn shade and I would like all the red out and achieve a dark chocolate brown. Do you have a suggestion on which shade will combat any red tones?

Asked by: LandeyCandy

I don't see an answer here regarding the difference between 5A-5.7 Light Ash Brown and 5AG-5.1 Light Intense Ash Brown...Can a Sally's rep please explain this to me or I'll need to return it to get the right color.
