DIRECTIONS: Add the entire contents of 1 Oil Infused Fragrance Booster (.15 oz.) to your Let's COLOR! hair color formula. Process as directed on the Let's COLOR! Conditioning Gelee Permanent Haircolor carton instructions for use.

HOW TO COLOR STEP 1:

PICK YOUR PERMANENT SHADE. There are 28 shades across 9 tonal families. NATURAL SHADES: Not too warm, not too cool…they're just right! These are your go-to shades for gray coverage or if you want that " Does she really color her hair?" look. The final color ranges from soft black to medium brown to very light blonde, based on your personal selection. The formulas have just the right balance of brown and blonde, so gray is covered naturally.

BLUE SHADES. For function plus fashion, blue gets rid of that unwanted red and orange and adds cool-blue depth to natural brunettes. You'll get deep, rich, dark brunette with hints of cobalt or lapis. If your hair color is naturally dark and you love it that way, these shades add mystery, eliminate any auburn undertones and still look cool in sunlight.

COOL SHADES. When you want to chill out, add discrete ash tones that keep blondes and brunettes brass free. These shades subtly cool off medium and light browns and keep your light blonde true to its cool self. Think smokey, pearl tones without any brassiness.

VIOLET SHADES. If your hair is naturally dramatic and dark, embrace a taste of rich red wine. You’ll crush on these violet and blackberry shades that are perfect for dark-haired beauties who want to see a touch of red, mixed with deep purple.

GOLD SHADES. Vacation or staycation, make your blonde or brunette hair look like it was sun-done year ‘round. Soft gold tones mix with natural undertones to give your hair a sunny new outlook. Choose these shades if you want to break away from dishwater blonde or mousy brown and go for the gold.

COPPER SHADES. Light up everyday brunette or blonde and revel in your own copper moment. Add soft, orangey red tones to your natural medium brown or dark blonde hair without going overly red. These shades enhance what your hair has naturally, bringing out ginger and copper tones.

RED BROWN SHADES. Show your brunette some love with burgundy accents that get you noticed. If you have dark brown hair and feel bored with it, add scarlet, crimson or mahogany without going all the way over to the red side. These are perfect for a polished yet playful take on red-brown.

AUBURN SHADES. Spice up your brunette by turning up the heat! Take your natural dark or medium light brown color and go full-on auburn with these naturally earthy shades. Choose our auburn shades for diminished coppers, soft gold apricot and a taste of true cinnamon.

RED SHADES. Raise your brunette temperature even more with a red-carpet red. Start with your naturally dark or medium brown hair and really get your red on! Go really rouge, royal red or richter-scale red and keep all eyes on your A-list look.

CHOOSE A DEVELOPER

20 Volume Oreor Crème Developer is the most popular choice for traditional lift, which allows 1-2 levels of lift with spot-on color deposit and the radiant, rich tones you expect. It is the developer to choose for gray coverage and coloring.

30 Volume Oreor Creme Developer is perfect when you want your color to be extra energized, a little bit lighter and brighter. With approximately 3 levels of lift, your hair will have noticeable tonal results from the shade you selected.

STEP 3: RAMP UP YOUR COLOR.

Customize the vibrancy of your color by mixing a High-Pigment Color Booster in your hair color formula! There are three concentrated, pure-color pigment boosters to choose from: Red, Violet or Copper.

Red Booster: Enhances and pops the Red tones in your Let’s COLOR!™ shade. Mix with: 4.5 Crimson Craze, 3.5 Scarlett Rush, 6.64 Marigold, 5.64 Spiced Up, 4.64 Zanzibar, 5.6 Really Rouge, 4.6 Royal Red.

Violet Booster: Enhances and pops the VIOLET tones in your Let’s COLOR!™ shade. Mix with: 4.26 Violet Crush, 3.26 Majestic Violet, 2.26 Black Berry, 4.5 Crimson Craze, 3.5 Scarlett Rush.

Copper Booster: Enhances and pops the COPPER tones in your Let’s COLOR!™ shade. Mix with: 7.4 Capri Sunset, 5.4 Tiger Lily, 6.64 Marigold, 5.64 Spiced Up, 4.64 Zanzibar.

STEP 4: PLAY UP YOUR GLOW. A must-have addition to your Let’s COLOR!™ application! Our Oil Infused Fragrance Booster with Grapeseed and Sunflower seed oils provides a smoother hair color application. Our signature Cherry Blossom fragrance leaves your hair smelling terrific!

You will see beautiful color results each time your use Let’s COLOR!™.

Here are some guidelines to follow:

Virgin Application: Working in controllable sections, saturate the hair thoroughly with the Let's COLOR! ™ mixture. Process for 25 minutes at room temperature. DO NOT USE HEAT. For extra gray coverage, process and additional 5-10 minutes. Rinse with warm water until the mixture runs clear. Then, shampoo and condition your hair.

Touch-Up Application: Apply the Let's COLOR!™ mixture to the re-growth only and process for 25 minutes at room temperature. DO NOT USE HEAT. If the ends are faded, add a little warm water to your mixture and work the product through the lengths and ends for 2-3 minutes. Remember to always follow the instructions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Great I’ve been a little lazy about dying my hair due to the pandemic. I had about 2-3 inches of gray roots and chose the Soft Cashmere to cover up my roots. I also used the 20 volume developer as my roots take color very well. My hair was in pretty healthy condition before coloring and I hadn’t colored my hair since the middle of June. I can say I still have 2-3 inches of gray roots and this product left my hair crunchy as though I had bleached it. Not a great product and will not be using again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not to bad.. I used blackberry. The color was as expected and took a while to fade and didn’t wash out as bad as other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3.26 Majestic Violet Permanent Haircolor I love this product! It covers my grays very well and it is long lasting. I went 8 weeks between coloring. The color is vibrant and even.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible, did literally nothing I used this product today, the color I chose, English Duchess, was much darker than my natural hair color I followed the directions exactly and used a 20 vol developer. After washing it out and drying my hair, I was crushed by the fact that it LITERALLY DID NOTHING. My hair color was the exact same and all it truly did was make my hair stink. Would never recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dark brown dye turned me blonde? I liked this shade of dark brown so I decided to try it. I used a dye remover beforehand, so my hair was much more yellow/copper than my natural medium brown. I put on the dye and just washed it out and now my hair is BLONDE! the supposedly dark brown dye lightened my hair! It was runny and hard to work with too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst L'Oreal product than their box dyes It was very funny like soup which made it impossible to evenly apply it in sections. Was looking to tone my blonde down to a grey and saw this color sample in store that I liked. It didn't do anything to my hair but it bleached some parts of my roots! My hair is a mess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't cover grays at all. Doesn't cover grays at all. Colored my hair nicely, but could still see gray peaking through.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color did not match sample at all I bought this 3 days ago in the color Capri Sunset, and it didn't even remotely turn out the same color as the sample in the store or the photo example online. I followed the instructions exactly, word for word, and instead of the deep orange color I expected it turned out bright creamsicle orange. So disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement for Preference. This will not give you the same color that preference did. I think mine is influenced by some blue undertones. But it is sufficient for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Product Love this Gelee Permanent Haircolor! I have used L’Oréal for quite sometime but would definitely recommend this new product. It is creamy, foamy and easy to apply; no drips, no mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it I bought the Spiced Up when my regular color wasn’t available. My hair normally turns a bit red in the sun...brunette with lots of Irish ☘️ This came out great. My grays look like pretty highlights and it turned out like an auburn. Love it! It will be my summer color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smokey Taupe Do not get this! I have put bleach on my hair before and it felt healthier than putting this on my head! Not to mention it turned my roots lighter and GOLD when this color was supposed to be darker than my natural color! AND the base was supposed to be an ASH color???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 4.5 crimson craze: mahogany brown I saw this color at my local Sally's and the swatch was beautiful; rich brown with deep burgundy undertones. But obviously brown. This dye IS NOT brown. It's a deep burgundy red. Now I can rock reds no problem but this was not at all what I was looking for not to mention how much damage it did to my hair. And I used a 10 vol because I was only looking to deposit not lift. I've used so many different brands of color in my 15 yrs of dying my hair at home and his one was by far the most damaging. No idea why either. Save your money and your hair and try another color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesnt Work! naturally have dark blinde hair, the black one turned my hair sludge green. ended up using one and onky argan color which civered beautifully

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review for orange additive as a filler I used the orange additive. It’s great for adding back color to bleached hair prior to going back to a dark color or when going from blonde to red/copper

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite hair dye I've been dying my hair the same color for a long time. This haor dye is a more vibrant shade and lasts the longest of all the ones ive used from sallys. I did dye my hair 2 different colors with this brand, different from what I normally do and I was decently pleased with the results of those as well. Ive found it works best with 20 volume developer. *I know there's quite a few bad reviews but please remember that most of you aren't professionals. You have to take into consideration your hair type, hair color, and whether the color on your head is virgin, box or professional, everyone's hair reacts differently to different colors so if you are trying to achieve a certain shade ypu may have to get a shade that looks darker on those hair samples. That hair does not accurately represent what the color will look like on your head. ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS OR SEEK PROFESSIONAL HELP*

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Total Fail!!! I got a color correction back in March. My hair is a weird brassy brown. It’s mid July and I bought the 6.0 Lots of Latte which is darker than my hair was when I went into this experience. Long story short... 20 volume and this 6.0 L’Oréal dye and My hair is lighter with a super brassy tone. My roots are white. I started with my ends and ended on my roots. This shouldn’t have happened. Also my mom is a licensed hair stylist and area manager for the company she works for. The only reason I didn’t go to her is because I’m going on a trip tomorrow to Florida to ELOPE and didn’t have time to get to her. I’m highly upset. Now I gotta dye my hair again. I’m so annoyed I can’t even begin to tell you. The attached photo doesn’t do it justice! It’s showing more brassy in the photo but I assure you, I have blonde roots and my hair feels EXTREMELY unhealthy like straw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Outcome. i have darkish but yet faded looking black brown hair with a few to many white strands, im 28, ive been going gray since high school years. i decided to drop some dark blue into my hair to tone out the red my hair naturally has, i first used the 3 which made my white strands bright blue in a nice way, the dark strands dakrened nicely, i used the 20v developer so as it faded my light brown hair appeared, at first it seemed so annoying but it actually makes it light enough to when i throw another tube on it the blue shows more and more. this next time i used was the 2 blue black, no brown, it looks much richer, dark and vibrant, it gave my hair a dark blue on certain areas woth certain lighting which is awesome! i now buy two tubes at a time with the same brand developer. AND!! my favorite part of it is that it DOES NOT stain the skin =D!! the lighter the hair the more true to color. dont shampoo too much just like all dyes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement for L'Oreal Technique liquid I used L'Oreal Technique liquid colour for years and have searched for a reasonable replacement because I mix my own custom colour. When I stumbled upon the Gelee hair colour, I jumped on it and to my surprise the gelee colours had the equivalent name on the pkg to the liquid colour. I tried it soon after receiving my order and it works just as well as the liquid. I'm pleased!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would give it zero stars I used Let’s Color no 10.0 socialite which is a light blonde. The color didn’t develop one bit despite following the instructions to a T. The mixed formula is super runny & difficult to apply. It has the strongest smell of any hair color - I’ve used L’Oréal brand hair color for years & L’Oréal Hi-Lights has been my favorite. I thought this would be the same - I was so wrong. Total waste of time & money

Can u use this on its own with developer

Asked by: Pixiegirl94
Not completely sure I understand the question, because like ALL permanent hair colour, uses a developer of some kind. My preference is L'Oreor 20 volume.

I use Medium Brown. What color is the color name of Medium brown or close to it?

Asked by: North West
I'm not really certain as I'm blonde... mixing a medium blonde with a copper red colour. I would look through the colour swatches... and read the colour written on the label rather than guessing. The colours are equivalents to the liquid colours previously sold under L'Oreal Technique. They have many shades of brunette in the line.

What do suggest to lighten and brighten hair that is adull gray. I have to red pigment in mr hair.  only green  I was a dishwater blonde

Asked by: Dorey635
I am not a hair coloring professional and so do not have an answer to your question. However, please consider my opinion. This product holds color much better than an earlier one purchased from Sally. Please understand. All Sally products are great! It's just that the L'Oreal Technique covers my grey very nicely and lasts up to 4 weeks.

I am looking for Preference Light Ash Blonde, base blue and can't find what I usually order. Is there a color that is permanent color that compares?

Asked by: Neen 1947
The new L'Oreal Technique gelee colours are the closest thing I found to the L'Oreal liquid colour that I used before. Although they have new names, if you look closer at the label there's an equivalent to the liquid colours. Like Pearl Dust or Socialite in the gelee colours would be closest - leaning towards the Pearl Dust. I did not see an exact match for Light Ash Blonde.

Can this product give me a warm chestnut shade of hair from black?

Asked by: Shari lyn
I don’t think so. The color for this brand is very week and don’t last. After the first shampoo the color is gone an it is supposed to be a permanent color. Try other brands like “Age beautiful” that has more pigment on it.
