  • The correct choice of color and developer is essential for best results. The choice must be made bearing in mind the customer's natural hair color, the desired degree of lightening and the percentage of gray hair. The mixing ratio is 1:2 (1 part color for 2 parts developer). Use 10 Volume developer for deposit only or 1 level of lift; 20 Volume developer for 2 levels of lift; 30 Volume developer for 3 levels of lift; 40 Volume developer for 4 levels of lift.

Application: Using a non-metallic bowl, mix 3oz Mystic Divine(tm) Luminous Shine Permanent Liqui-Creme Hair Color with 6 oz of Mystic Divine Developer.

Processing Time: All instructions are based on average texture. If the hair is fine or coarse, adjustments should be made accordingly. Fine hair is much more receptive to hair coloring while coarse hair is not. 30 minutes for standard application; 45 minutes for maximum gray coverage.

  • 1:2 mixing ratio - 1 part color to 2 parts developer. Mix 3oz Mystic Divine(tm) Luminous Shine Permanent Liqui-Creme Hair Color with 6 oz of Mystic Divine Developer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Color!! First time i used this [3IR w/ 20vl], i have to admit i was dissapointed, it had set in and the red was only visible under light but anything else it looked brown. I had dark brown dyed hair when i applied it the 1st time. After 2 weeks, i fell in love with it. The red started to show better and the red was more noticible [keep in mind only wash my hair 2-3x a week] but nothing that would be considered inappropiate for work. Ive gotten so many compliments on it! Because it is a red color, it does wash out a bit in every wash. ive learnt washing with really cold water helps keep it in longer. It does start to look burgundy/purply color after a bit according to some friends who thought ive dyed it purple but still looks great! the 2nd time i used 30vl all over including new roots. New roots definetly picked up the red and is still noticible till today, 1.5 months after the 1st dye, while the red has washed out and now looks purplish on the the old hair. I was told it was getting discontined which is such a bummer since i fhad finally found a beautiful yet "normal" color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mystic Divine 4NC Copper Medium Brown hair color I really love the redness in this copper medium brown color. It avoids turning brassy as far as its copper tint, and also does not turn a severe purple color as medium brown. The color stays true even after a month of washing, although I do not wash or co-wash more than twice a week which helps. I am only disappointed that it is a color that might be discontinued, although I bought in bulk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color Sally discontinued Unfortunately, sally discontinued this color and left me out in the cold. This was the best hair color I’ve ever had. Covered grey and the condition of my has never better. I received complaints on my color every time I had my hair cut, the stylists always commented on how beautiful my color was and asked who colored it. They always got a little mad when I told them it was Sally’s. But now...I tried others and nothing even comes close, so upset with Sally for discontinuing this copper red color

Rated 1 out of 5 by from washes right off I dyed my hair on October 25th. I loved the outcome on day 1 but once i washed my hair the second time the dye was just coming right off and with every wash the same thing kept happening. I got the darkest black there was and my hair is now back to brown. Only 13 days in from dying my hair. I would not recommend or buy this product again because now i have to redye and put my hair through more chemicals to achieve my desire hair color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Best Excellent coverage, shine, condition your hair while it colors it. No need to shampoo after. When the time exposure it’s fine Just add water and shampoo with the hair colors(substitute your regular shampoo). The water will activate the cleaning ingredients in the hair color to refresh the color while it cleans it. So no need to used your regular shampoo

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color It shows very well if your hair is already dark, but if your hair is blonde it makes it a rose gold color but either way both colors are stunning

Which is best color for very stubborn grey

Asked by: Cristelia
Any color is good for gray coverage. But your best option is to use a demi permanent color. It's going to cover the hair with color as opposed to opening up the hair and coloring highly resistant gray hair from the inside. Just be sure you are using a shade that is the same shade or darker to work properly.

Can I use any brand of developer

Asked by: Bonnieon
You can, but I just love the Mystic Divine developer. If you look at the ingredients compared to other developers, it has a ton of conditioning ingredients along w/the peroxide. I think that is why my hair is so soft and shiny after coloring.

I have a question about your mystic divine luminous shine permanent liquid-creme hair color. If there is a small hole on the tube and a little leaked out leaving black stuff dried up where the hole is, will it still be usable?

Asked by: Machary1
I think you can still use it, but it may have been exposed to the air. The color may not take as well as if it was fresh.

I have the mystic devine 3vv do i need developer?

Asked by: Jaysback77
Yes, you need to purchase a developer. I use the Ion Sensitive Scalp 30 Volume Creme Developer. The ratio is 1 part color & 2 parts developer. So, if you're using a 3oz tube of Mystic color, you'll need to mix it with 6oz of developer.

Ive been using the 5NV for the base undertones for my hair. I then use a lightener for highlights that are blonde. Would a blonde color be a better choice, and if so which is close to the 5NV. My hair turns orange easily, so I was wondering if a neutral b

Asked by: Anonymous
If I am understanding your question correctly, you want to know if you can use a color to create your highlights...? Because you cannot lift color with color, that would not work. Your only option is to continue using a bleach product, as it sounds like you've been doing, to lighten those areas you want to highlight.
