  • Radical tones for One Step, Contemporary Permanent Creme Hair Color Can be used on previously lightened hair Vivid bright hues in one quick step
Be funky and fun with BTZ's Rock On One Step Contemporary Permanent Hair Color! Get bright, vivid, vibrant color with permanent, long lasting results! The conditioning formula will help to leave hair smooth and moisturized. Control the intensity of the tone by mixing and matching shades to create your own signature color. Now you can become an artist by creating fashionable hair art by combining colors to create an unlimited shade palette.
  • Using a non-metallic bowl, mix 2oz of hair color with 2oz of 10V or 40V developer. Use 10 Volume Developer with a processing time of 10-20 minutes when applying to pre-lightened hair. Use 40 Volume Developer with a processing time of 30-40 minutes when applying to virgin hair that has not been previously color treated.

For the most vibrant results apply to natural hair color levels 6 (dark blonde) and lighter. Pre-lightening prior to application on darker virgin hair color or hair that has been previously colored is often necessary for the most vibrant results. Use suitable protective gloves and apply color on desired strands. After processing rinse thoroughly.

  • Use petroleum jelly around hair line to keep skin from staining. Remember, if the hair is already color treated you may need to remove the previously applied color prior to your BTZ(TM) application. First, complete a test strand to ensure desired results as well as a preliminary patch test for safe product use.

Note: Permanent Hair Color alters the natural hair color and will not revert back to virgin hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Never in my life have I been so disappointed in a hair dye, a worker recommended it as it was new well I mixed it up with the developer and it turned pretty in the cup but didn’t show up on my light as can be blonde hair. Reeked As if it was straight bleach and burned even worse then bleach has. Last time I take advice from someone working there which thinks they know their stuff when they don’t. Do not waste you time, money and scalp on this product. Go with the ion brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting bright color The Tangerine Fire was my first dye job at home on virgin hair. I bleached first with a 10 developer and a blue powder. I used a 20 developer for the dye. Used a cap. A bottle helps. Watch the edges! Get some baby wipes! Fantastic coverage. Beautiful color. Did not fade. Wanted more red, so moved to Rockin' Red. One month of complements!!! Use a weekly mask and color safe shampoo and conditioner. Going pink for Easter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I used the Poppin Purple and the Evening Indigo. The Purple lasted a while except on my ends which have just been extremely over dyed. But the Indigo has lasted forever!! Im redoing my hair with this product again for the 3rd time and going all Indigo because it does that great. And the color turns out amazing. I didn't find there to be much of any burn at all, and I actually quite enjoyed the smell of it. ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jammin Jade and Poppin Purple So I had light blue hair before this, and I didnt want to bleach my hair this timw around to I put the colors over it and the Jade color turned into a nasty blue and I hated it, but the Purple I was absolutely LOVED!! I went over the jade side with the rest of the purple I bought and it turned into SUCH a beautiful color. I'm very happy with the purple and will definitely be buying it again. The color was white out the tube (which gave me a heartattack), but after we put 10 developer in it, it slowly became the right colors as we applied it to my hair. So pleased with this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointed. When I first saw the actual dye out of the tube it wasn't even red and more of an orange-ish peach color, and within a few seconds of applying it my eyes started to water and my nose started to sting, even though I have not had a reaction like this to any other dye brands. After 20 minutes, my hair had still not turned red, and after I just called it quits and washed out the dye, I noticed there was just a small singular patch that had turned a very light red. To summarize: Would not reccomend, a waste of $5, DO NOT BUY.

I’d like to try this on my hair. I have salt and pepper presently so my question is will this cover gray? And I definitely don’t want a bright blue bcuz I’m 63. Don’t think it’ll look good on an older lady lol.

Asked by: Kepola917
It covers mine. I use sangria pop and indigo.

Can I use Color Oops to remove this? (Rockin' Red) The Color Oops says not to use over henna, and the Rock On product warns against using if you are allergic to black henna.

Asked by: HappyNihilist
On my experience the best hair color remover you can use to remove Rock on is one and only color fix  Color fix don’t damage your hair  you mix battle 1&2 ally on your hair let it work for 25 minutes and wash with warm water

How do I prelighten my hair? I want a deep ruby red or purple with black highlights? Is that even possible?

Asked by: ZoeyDavid
Go to Sallys beauty supply and ask for the blue bleach packet, if your hair is healthy it will lighten perfectly!

I have received my hair dye and when I looked to see the color of it it was this shinny white color in the tube, is that supposed to be like that?

Asked by: Briana09
Yes. It will oxidize to the color you bought when mixed with the developer.

Do u have to have an developer when applying this product to hair all I have is permanent creme hair color and that's it

Asked by: Wooskii85
Yes, u need a developer. The darker ur hair, the higher ur volume. I used a 20-30 and have natural black hair. Its not a good brand and or color to use long term (it will fry ur hair and will fade fast.) I switched brands and found a better color.... i now use brand: ion, permanent brights (permanent) radiant orchid with a 10 volume developer. Its color is more vibrant and prettier as well as lasts longer. Indoors its a pretty dark purple, in the sun, it has really pretty slight pink highlights without all the extra coloring ;-) Hope this helps, Missy

Will this turn out true purple without bleach on hair that is 6N?

Asked by: Robin1959
It depends on how vibrant you want the color. I'd recommend lightening a few shades first if you're looking for that PURPLE purple.
