Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color with higher deveoper Daughter has brown hair and the darker pink stuck with a level 40 developer. Bleached other daughters hair I bleeched then did teal and blue and both looked very good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON’T BUY!!!!! The product was to light to make a difference, you can not even see a hint of pink. I even pre-lightened my hair before applying the color. Waste of money!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Going to a process My hair was black with a plum color mix , I decide to try power to the purple by flare me, and it turn into a purple mix with brown tones, I did with a 30 vol development and I sealed after and put a treatment, I love it but my question is should I keep using the 30 vol I have thick hair .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Washes out and fades into unsatisfactory color I bought the Make 'Em Blush Pink color in February and to begin with, I was very happy with how vibrant the color was because I had bleached my hair into a platinum blonde to get a vibrant pink color. One week later, I wash my hair and the color washed out at a fast rate. Immediately my hair began to fade into this salmon, orange-ish pink color that I was not happy with. The color had an orange undertone once faded and began to turn some parts of my hair brown after two-three washes... I mean, at first it's a good color and exactly what I was looking for, but the longterm fade was just unsatisfactory, especially since this color is supposedly "permanent"-- I'd expect it to last a bit longer than regular hair dye.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Make em blush Got this a couple of days ago. I’ve been working with the color to get it an actual pink color because every time I put this on my hair it made it an orange brassy color or a bright red color instead of a pretty pink color like advertised. So after several attempts and several washing and toning the not so good results out I finally formulated it to where I’m happy. Just a tip: I had to mix this with manic panic ultra violet, a lot of conditioner, and a drop of developer to activate the pink color before getting these results. It came out a pretty pastel pink on my platinum blonde and on my freshly bleached not so platinum ( more golden) it came out like a bright pink. Better than orange or red. Lol. Overall I’m happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I use the color rose to the occasion, diluted with clearly you, I get about a month to a month and a half on a single dye which is far better than a week or two with the temporary stuff. I love the color!

What volume activator is best for this kind of color?

Asked by: Greeneyes582
Hi Greeneyes582! We recommend using 10 volume or 6 volume. Please *do not* use 30 volume, it will impact the longevity of the color and damage your hair unnecessarily.

My hair is kinda golden blonde and I have flare me rose to the occasion it's 2 Oz and I was wondering how much developer I put in

Asked by: Taiyah555
Directions said to use equal amounts.  I used 2 oz of developer but do a patch test of the mixture before using it on your whole head my color didn't come out like the color pictured on the box :( I had Turn Their Heads Red... It turned out a funny pinkish color! No way near red... I threw 6 new unopened boxes in the trash.  Good Luck!!!

I have medium brown hair. I only want either the teal, green, or blue (haven’t picked yet) to tint my hair noticeably though) will this work? If so what volume developer do I get?

Asked by: Sdudelston
You really do need to lighten it if you want any of those colors. If you just put it on brown hair it will not give you anything but muddy hair. I do not ever bleach my hair to lighten it. I usually get away with using Ion lightening cream with 30 volume and get a blonde that I tone with Ion bright whites Snow Cap which gives me a healthy base for using the fun permanent shades. With them I use 6 or 10 volume to get a strong shade. The colors are very strong so pay attention to directions to get the shade you want! If you are going to go blue I strongly recommend adding a bit of Clairol Cool Froid it will keep a stronger shade of blue that lasts longer. Honestly if you just want a strong darker blue that fades to denim that works great with a silver/ white toner and 6-10 activator!!!!

I have naturally blonde hair that's already dyed a store brand deep purple color, and my hair takes color pretty well. Do i need to strip and bleach my hair to use the teal color?

Asked by: AmandaR87
I have naturally dk Brown hair & change my color to all the crazy colors out there these days. When I do this, I do a "bleach bath" on my hair tho. It causes less stress & damage than just straight bleaching does, and leaves it ready to color immediately. As a matter of fact, I just did it tonight because, I'm going purple 2moro. Just Google "bleach bath" and I advise the directions from "Bellatory", as they're the easiest! If u have anymore questions, ask away!

Do I need to bleach my hair since I have black hair? If so, does the box give me bleach?

Asked by: Samantha18
If you want the color to really show up then yes, you need to lighten or bleach your hair. I used this color just to give my dark hair a tint of blue, sadly it didn't show up. The box does not included a bleach kit in.

Can I also mix blue and power to the purple together

Asked by: Mercedez
You can mix any colors if they are all the same type of dye. Permanents, demi, and semi. Hope that helps.
