Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works I bought this yesterday and dyed my hair the night I got it, my hair was a white blonde to begin with and it turned out beautiful. Now when I washed out the dye it stayed in my hair it said 6 to 8 washes and even on my first wash, the color was still vibrant. I would buy this product again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT SEMI-PERMENENT!!!! I bought this colour expecting a light colour for 1-2 weeks. I have light bling hair and the colour wasn’t beautiful for 2 weeks but faded to a light blue. When I went to a hairdresser to wash it out IT TURNED GREEN. This product is not semi permanent and stains your hair. My hairdresser has seen this happen twice with this product. Do NOT buy if you want a short term hair colour

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This color is amazing over bleached hair! When I bought this hair color I did not have high expectations of it turning out very well, but I’ve used the permanent color in this line and loved it so I took a chance. It comes out of the tube the perfect consistency which was nice, the color I usually use is very thick. Even though the consistency is nice it does not seem to go on evenly-so if you do buy this you’re going to want to make sure you comb your hair after you apply the color to make sure you covered everything. (This worked well and took care of that issue for me, but I also colored my very long hair myself so that could’ve been my issue). I used electric teal on top and pure purple underneath. After I applied the color I was feeling ok about it, a little apprehensive because of how it looked..and then I started cleaning up. Generally when I wipe down the counters afterwards whatever drops of color come off easily, that definitely was not the case here. I might have to bleach my tub a few times to get this stuff out. I went ahead and shampooed my scalp after rinsing, this surpringly did not stain my scalp. This is the brightest color I’ve ever seen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't stay It will only stay in my hair about 3 days. Normally I will by ion and ion stays . I did a ion light blue to this purple. The purple didn't stay. At 1 point after it coming out in about 3 days even without using shampoo on it. I put then the light blue on all of my hair and covered half with purple. Thw purple still washed out and underneath was the ion blue unfased or even tinted by this purple. It is the wort stayong hair dye I have ever used.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lasts longer as a peekaboo I bought the midnight blue and pure purple. I started with the blue, because I was told it's easier to go blue-to-purple. I was also warned blue fades to green, ok. I have an asymmetrical pixie cut and I dyed the undercut, the short side faded to green with the first couple washes, and under the longer side has stayed green (albeit a lighter blue) longer. I'm 2 week in, maybe 5 washes (with their One n Only color shampoo), and I'm redying. Not quite what I expected. If you are doing an all-over color expect to redye fairly often. If you are doing a peekaboo color it should stay fairly nice for several weeks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has its ups n downs. I bought pure purple, midnight blue and electric teal. I have dirty blonde hair and didn't bleach it. Both the midnight blue and the electric teal stayed in longer then the purple

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nope. very much nope. i wanted my hair a dark and mysterious looking forest green so i dyed over my dirty blonde/light brown/with natural golden highlights expecting to have some really cool forrest nymph like hair. i was severely disappointed, it turned my hair a grey-brown-green color that almost looks like green baby doo. if i could get my money back, i would. honestly i only bought this because sally's didn't have manic panics venus envy in stock.

Does it work on black woman hair

Asked by: Kristic1224
The texture doesn't make a difference. If the hair is light brown or lighter, the color will show up.

I want to dye mine the lilac color. It was really dark red but I just bleached the. My hair is like a burnt orange. I can’t bleach it anymore my hair is really dry. Will the lilac cover the burnt orange? Or will I have to wella charm tone it before hand.

Asked by: 1mommof3
I'm not a beautician, but dye my hair religiously and have for over 30 years. I have dark hair and for any thing other than brown to really show up on my hair I have to bleach it. For 3 yrs I've used the purples on my hair. The lilac may not be as bright as you want it if your hair is only at the orange stage. I found it showed up better once I was able to get my hair almost white. Which was several bleachings. I wouldn't tone it as the color will be your toner. I hope this helps. One more note. I won't use any other colors but these. All other's I have tried rub off on you and your pillows. I also only wash my hair once a week to keep the color longer. Dry shampoo in between helps.

Is there any product I can mix with this to lighten , I.e more pastel pink?

Asked by: Alix1971
You can lighten any temporary hair dye by mixing it with regular conditioner! There are products out there that are specifically for mixing with temporary dye to lighten them, and other temporary dye brands often have their own, but in my experience they're a rip off. Plain hair conditioner is cheaper and works!

I dye my hair black, but I want it blue black, will it work?

Asked by: Zuleika Zu
I recommend you use the loreal hi color line. They have a blue black that will actually stay since they are all permanent colors.

For dark brown/blackish hair, will this work with out developer? Im not expecting bright purple but at least a pigment color purple. Right now, it looks like black hair and just looks purple in the sun. Any suggestions? Do i use developer

Asked by: Linaabee
I used this both ways. I lighten my natural brown hair and had the bold color. As my hair grew out I didn’t want to re-lighten it so I just apply it to my outgrown hair and you could see it in the light but it wasn’t as vibrant.

I have dyed my natural medium brown hair, red a million times. What would be the best intense color for me, light skin, hazel eyes? That is without bleach if possible?

Asked by: Bella1217
These colors won’t show well unless u dye your hair really light blonde or bleach it. I used these a lot on weaves but I had to bleach the hair first so if your hair is light enough they may work for u but if not from my experience it won’t

I want to dye my hair purple but I dont want a pink or red base I would like a blue base, I was thinking of mixing the blue with pure purple but I have not tried this dye or those colors before and would like to know if anybody else has ??

Asked by: Amber209
My hair is just slightly longer than shoulder length, I bleach my hair to a blond and then I use an entire tube of pure purple and about a quarter size drop of the midnight blue and it turns it a nice indigo purple. Be warned though when it fades out the blue shows up first, and is also the most difficult to change if you want to colour your hair something different. Blue never bleaches out completely. You will have to grow it out to completely remove the blue.

My hair is just about all grey with some light brown still in the back. I want to try navy blue. How will this take on my hair color?

Asked by: Debbi Mc Elroy
I have silver "highlights" in my hair. This didn't cover any of it.
