  • Customize shades from intermixing colors together for unlimited possibilities No developer needed…..just apply directly from the bottle Provides Versatility and Customization EXPLORE YOUR CREATIVITY Inspires New Color Concepts Easily Formulate Formulas Creative Driven Colors Glowing, shiny results Bright vibrant shades Intense pigmentation Long-lasting colors
Chroma Intense Dye Technology was created for longer-lasting and more intense colors. Direct dyes deposit easily on bleached or pre-lightened hair while simultaneously deeply conditioning. Using silk proteins to help strengthen the hair and add brilliant shine, hair appears brighter and more vibrant.
  • DIRECTIONS: MIX AND CREATE IN 4 EASY STEPS! Wear gloves to avoid staining. No developer required. CHI Chromashine semi-permanent hair colors may be used for partial or full head application.

Step 1: Determine the desired color or create an intense custom color using our creative color palette. Lightly mist the hair with CHI Keratin Mist to even out porosity.

Step 2: Evenly apply a generous amount on clean, dry hair staying 1/8” away from the scalp. Do not, apply product directly to the scalp. For a retouch, apply only to new growth area and avoid overlapping.

Step 3: Recommended processing time is 10 minutes under low heat and at least 5 minutes for cool down. Always allow time for full cool down. For longer-lasting color, a longer cool down time may be used.

Step 4: Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water until water runs clear. Towel blot and apply CHI Color Lock Treatment for 5 minutes to lower the pH. Rinse with cool water to lock in the color. Apply a few drops of CHI Silk Infusion to add additional shine and protect the hair during heat styling.

    • For brighter more vibrant colors use on prelightened hair of dark blonde or lighter
    • For deeper more subtle shades use over brown or darker shades
    • To create longer wearing color finsh with CHI Color Lock
    • Utilize White to create pastel shades
    • Utlize Grey and Onxy to create depth in the color

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long lasting Number 1. To the idiot that used the white to ''whiten'' your hair.. That's to dilute the colors. Not change your hair color Number 2. I believe that color lock is bs and my colors seem to actually fade faster. It doesn't matter which brand. Number 3. This stuff is amazing and vibrant. I leave it in anywhere from 30 minutes to about 5 hours. It honestly doesn't seem to make it stay in any longer, but I tend to fall asleep after I do my hair lol. The only color that seems to bleed is the red. Of course, the yellow and orange probably do as well, but it blends in with the red. I've got yellow, orange, red, and purple in my hair. I put the purple over orange and yellow hair, and it came out great. That's actually what sold me on the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked the dangerously red To me it seemed to last longer than artic fox. I liked how it starts pretty burgundy and it fades to a brighter red with every wash. Also I added it to my conditioner to deposit between re coloring

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dangerously Red I purchased the shade “Dangerously Red” and it’s absolutely my new go-to.The color is SO vibrant. Also was impressed that it didn’t stain my skin or even my countertops in the process. The color does bleed with the first few showers, but the color still holds. Im obsessed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Color I did the green(grassroots?), the color was pretty good. vibrant. After i washed my hair the first time after coloring it, it came out a weird blue/ turquoise color. Left my roots a dirty green color. Never had that happen with other brands in green.

Do you use developing creme with the chi chroma shine hair dye?

Asked by: Nikkiballsz
No. If it’s semi permanent you don’t have to add developer. You could add conditioner if you want if you are going for more of a pastel color. I add semi permanent color to my conditioner, so that it deposits color when I wash my hair.

How do I check out

Asked by: Glovina13
All I had to do was click on the cart in top right corner of the page and then just follow the check out prompts for billing and shipping, payment info, etc.  after you check everything over click on “Submit” or “Submit Order” (you may have to scroll to end of page - all the way to bottom to see this).  You will get a confirmation within a couple minutes.  Hang on to your order info AND order number so you can check on the status of your order.  TAKE NOTE THAT THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS - PERIOD.  Hope this helps!

Pearl white, can this be used as a toner? I bleach but trying to found something to use as a toner, other toners make my hair to ashy cause my hair is white but I have a slight yellow after bleaching roots that wants to be stubborn sometimes

Asked by: Jan00001
The white cannot be used as a toner. It is intended to be mixed with the other semi-permanent colors to achieve a more pastel shade.

Can the white be used as it's own color or is it just to lighten the other colors? If it is used as it's own color would it be able to dye my hair white?

Asked by: Anne0000
White is only able to be used as a dilution for brighter colors. It cannot lighten your hair or deposit a white color. The only thing that can lighten your hair is a color lifter or bleach, lifter is the gentler option but usually not as strong as bleach and may require multiple applications.

How do u apply this?

Asked by: Jusw8tn 67
You just put it on straight out of the bottle. try not to get it on your scalp or skin because it will stain the skin for a while. You can also find the directions with suggestions under directions on the products page.
