Rated 4 out of 5 by from I liked the product. I have natural strawberry blond hair and I do not have any coloring or chemical on my hair and I purchased the orange to enhance and shine my hair color. I really liked it. The alternate color pigment enhancer I tried from a different brand was too reddish/berry looking for the strawberry blond I was looking for. This orange Paints was perfect. It would be nice if the tubes were larger. I have medium length hair and the one tube I purchased was enough to cover about half my hair. If they made this product similar to how the Ion Pigments Color Solutions work, I think the product would sell like crazy and get way better reviews especially with the large assortment of colors offered. It lasted about two weeks in my hair and by week three, my hair is still a shade darker like I wanted but just not glossy shiny and vibrant like it was the first week. I also liked how my hair felt like the product had stripped my hair of built-up product in the processing. I don't know if that's what it does or not but my hair sure felt like it and my hair was so soft. I wish the product had better instructions so I knew how often I could use it and if it can cause any damage to my hair. I say this because the Color Solutions Ion Pigments are my preference and I can use as little or as much as I want in my hair and it doesn't damage my hair. But the colors of the Color Solutions pigments are very limited to typically three to four different colors depending on the seasons and what colors the company decides to make. For people just wanting a temp washout pigment for their natural hair color, there really isn't any companies making this type of product on the market yet. Just my two cents for what ever it's worth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So not happy I’ve used Wella toners for years and thought this would be as good. Let me just say 2oz isn’t enough for anyone I bought 2, left my hair with a orange tint in most of it and only took good on a few ends. Worst product I’ve ever used.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Left my hair with a gold/orange tone I saw this hair color being used in Youtube for a rose gold tone mixed with a pink hair color. I have bleached hair and it should work better to achieve the rose gold tone. For my surprise, it did not work, very dissapointed. My hair ended up looking gold/orange. I was so mad because my hair was blonde and now I have to redye my hair. Do not recommend this hair color does not work at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work Bought this the other day with a friend and put it on her level 7-9 hair, she has highlights too, the lightest pieces didnt even get a tint after 2 pass throughs. The product left her hair dry and crunchy even after washing with shampoo and conditioner. We also had to purchase a second box just to do her whole head. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No pigment I bought a light pink shade ( cant remember which) and when i applied two whole tubes to only half of a bleached head of hair no pigment showed up at all. there was a slight hue of pink in the back but the rest of the hair was mostly still blonde.

how does it work on dirty blonde hair and how will it come out when dyed?

Asked by: gianna565
I just did my 11yr old daughters hair with this. She has a darker dirty blonde hair and the color turned out great! I was worried you wouldn't be able to tell. But you definitely can. She picked the Red.

Will the color clear if my hair is a dark mulberry and I want to put clear on it will it come out clear???

Asked by: Anonymous
Will you hair color come out clear? No. The clear is just an additive to the color to make it lighter, like if you wanted a pastel purple instead of a dark purple.

Can I use the clear over my pre existing purple to lock my purple in and make it last longer or would adding the clear to my already semi permanent hair somehow mess up the color? I want to use it as a top coat to make my purple last even longer

Asked by: April971
in my professional opinion(master stylist since 2002),i would only recommend this brand of clear for diluting colors or creating pastel shades.tigi and pravana make a clear that would better suit you. and remember wash your purple hair in ice cold water with gentle color safe shampoo,no more than twice a week. you can also use color deposting conditioners as well

Does it work on Black hair? If not do you know any brands that do (semi-permanant)

Asked by: Lila1234
Do you mean "black" as in dark colored hair or "Black" as in "african" hair?

I have blonde dyed hair is it okay to use this purple dye on it for like a temporary hair dye for something new?

Asked by: Gemma003
It honestly depends on how "temporary" you want this to be. If your looking for something that will fade gradually over a few months as well as depending on how often you wash it as well as the shampoo you use then this will be fine. When I use it I wash my hair daily with CS products and it lasts me about 2 months. By then it's time to change color anyway because I'm bored!

I have most of my air blue and purple my natural brown is down to ears and I am wanting a very dark green as dark as possible I want to ask what color my blue and some teal cuz it's faded and purple will become

Asked by: Anonymous
To be perfectly honest, without seeing your hair.. I wouldn't recommend putting color on top. I think you could possibly end up with some very "interesting?" Colors. If you're going for a solid green I highly recommend using Prism Lites Violet Bleach and then start over. This is the only bleach I have found that does not dry my hair out not does damage. I must admit my hair actually feels lighter when I use it to change colors :) Although I've been partial to just coloring my roots as they grow out recently trying new ombres.
