Rated 5 out of 5 by from This worked great Bought on a whim because my daughter liked the bottles and they looked sparkly. I used bubblehead pink and purple passion and they took beautifully to her naturally blonde hair. Used over faded arctic fox blue. I used the purple on pieces to test up against my arctic fox. Haven’t washed with shampoo yet but looks vibrant! Great price and ingredients for my littles hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New formula I've been using this same hair dye for years now it's my holy grail. My only problem is they recently changed the formula and I know because this is the only product I repurchase as much as I do. I liked the old 1 better mainly because of the smell. the new smell makes me kinda sick & I held my breath with it. The color on the other hand, still as beautiful as ever (I use raspberry kamikaze).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to hairdye! I've been exclusively using this to color my hair since 2014! If you don't bleach your hair you'll have to leave it in all day but it's a deep conditioning formula so it's safe to. If you do bleach your hair you can follow the instructions on the bottle. I always get bright long lasting color from this brand and its amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great color! I bought this dye cause my local sally’s was out of the color I wanted in the brand I typically use was sold out. I was a little worried after seeing so many negative reviews, but I LOVE how it came out. I left the dye on my freshly washed hair for about an hour and a half and it came out sooooo vibrant! I used Bubblehead Pink and Huckleberry Blue. The only complaint I haven’t is that the smell is extremely strong, to a point where it’s kind of sickening.

Does this work on dark brown hair? I have dark brown almost black hair.

Asked by: TammyTanner
I used to put it on my dark hair. If you have the time leave it on all day while you go about your day 6-7 hours until it's basically dried and then rinse out with a color safe conditioner and it'll tint your hair.

Hi, do I need to bleach my hair first? I have grays and whites and that’s where I want the color to pop out on.

Asked by: Massy415
Hi, I'd recommend bleaching first if you want the color to really show.

Do I need to shampoo after processing?

Asked by: Clamdipper
NEVER. Just rinse in cold water. Shampoo will only wash out the temporary color. Apply to clean, dry hair. if you hair is damaged you can mix this with conditioner but it will lighten the effect.

Can I mix with 10 volumes developer for it to last longer?? I refuse to lighten my kids hair but there blond and dirty blond and I applied Saturday and they left it on for almost 3 hours and after one wash it faded it’s barely even noticeable now.

Asked by: Jess8237
If you shampoo out, your washing out the color. Just rinse. At least 24 hrs later you can wash. When using semi permanent colors shampoos release the color.

Will this come out or does it stay forever?

Asked by: Wonderingly
It’s not a permanent color. So it does fade with each wash.
