Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome color I stopped dying my hair two years or so ago because the bleach would barely work and the color only stayed about 3 weeks. This is my first time using manic panic and I was so surprised my whole head was bleached almost white and my hair is thick and semi dark naturally and dye and bleach doesn’t usually take so it was awesome! And I used rock n roll red and it came out so soooo red! And my hair Isn’t damaged or anything because of it either! It’s way awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for making a red conditioner! I make my own red conditioner with this. Use the red conditioner instead of just conditioner to make your hair color last longer! Just mix it with your favorite color safe conditioner, about 1:1 ratio. Remember to only wash in cold water. I dye my hair with Loreal Hicolor Hilights in red, since my natural hair is black. You would have to bleach your hair first if you use this to dye your hair. With the Loreal product, you don't have to, so that's why I only use this as a red conditioner. I won't have to re-dye my hair for another 3-4 months when my roots starts to show alot, even though they say red fades the fastest. I don't have that problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vampire Red My boyfriend picked the color by scrolling through Instagram and noticing it caught his eye the most. I had split color half bright pink and half a deep purple. I washed the colors out the best I could but it wasn’t very much. I put the red directly in top and after the first wash the colors were almost identical. The dye covered my old colors very well. I was also able to color my head in half the amount of dye I would normally use. I’m very excited about how everything went and plan to keep buying this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye bye brass I've been attempting to tone out stubborn brassiness and finally found my holy grail product! After using many other brands that claimed to do so, Virgin Snow is the only one that did what the others couldn't. It also left my dry hair soft and smooth after will definitely be using again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From Red to Purple - covering stained hair My hair is currently stained red from multiple permanent and semi perm home dye jobs over the years. I wanted to go purple, but the various dyes that I tried wouldn’t cover my red and it just kept coming out magenta. Even bleach baths wouldn’t remove the red, so I did some research on what semi perm dyes will actually COVER another color, and decided to try Manic Panic in Purple Haze next. It definitely covered my red, got a great purple - for about 2 weeks. After that it faded back to the red pretty quickly. Each time I use it though, it fades slower and tones down my red a little more. Couldn’t really ask much more from a semi perm dye. This warm shade of purple goes well with just about any skin tone, and fades to a lovely dusty rose.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wild Fire This color presents as a red and it is not it is orange. My mom wanted to re dye her hair today so I looked on this app because I love sallys and it is the only place i get my bleach and blue hairdye for myself! but i got this color thinking it would be a red because my mom wants her hair to be a bright red. shes had her hair red already, all we were doing was her roots, bleaching and dying them and we also bleached and dyed the sides and the back of her head. (she has the sides and the back of her head shaved) her hair is now orange and she says she likes it but idk if she really does ,also, because i thought it would be red i dyed over her red hair so it looks so dark at the top and orange everywhere else. im not trying to be mean, im just warning everyone that this may not turn up red in your hair it might turn up orange.

Does it show up on dark brown hair

Asked by: CAS10117
Any darker shade of Manic Panic will give subtle results to darker levels of hair. If you have dyed black hair the results will be subtle and most likely go unnoticed unless you are in direct light. Results and color longevity may vary depending on hair's natural porosity and natural color. For more questions or tips, please contact our color experts via email: customerservice@manicpanic.com

My hair is naturally gray white no yellow what is the best shade of Manic Panic to achieve lavender

Asked by: Sharon 809
Even though grey hair is light in color it can be very resistant to any hair color. We recommend pre-lightening or using a clarifying shampoo to open the cuticle before using Manic Panic hair color. to achieve a lavender I suggest using Ultra violet. Follow these steps to prepare the hair: 1. Apply Flash Lightening Bleach for 5-15 minutes to open cuticle 2. Using the PREPARE TO DYE CLARIFYING SHAMPOO to remove excess oils/dirt and open the cuticle 3. Dry hair completely to open cuticle further and ensure hair is porous 4. Use any of our darker Manic Panic shades for best results

After using the lights ash blonde by L'Oreal Paris I have horrible orange roots, but love the blonde that the rest of my hair turned out to be. Will this product get rid of my orange roots because I don't want to lose the blonde shade?

Asked by: Tgrgal03
Virgin Snow is a blue-tinted toner designed to help eliminate brassy tones on the lightest level 10 blonde. If your hair is closer to orange you need a green based toner to neutralize it. in this case it would be best to seek advice and direction of a professional stylist who can evaluate the best process.

Asked by: Kiared87
You could apply a manic panic purple over your existing red hair but be advised the results will be a reddish purple due to the base of your hair being red. We recommend using the following products to gradually remove hair color from the hair: - Wash hair with PREPARE TO DYE CLARIFYING SHAMPOO - Hot Oil treatments - Alcohol-based hair products such as hairspray, gel, or mousse - -Washing hair with shampoos that contain sulfates such as Anti-Dandruff, Clarifying, Deep Cleansing or All Purpose. - Exposure to water and sunlight - Sprinkle a teaspoon of baking soda into your shampoo, gently kneading into your hair, then rinse with warm water. **Some darker colors may leave behind a slight tint/stain or take more time to fade than some of our lighter colors. **The removal of hair color and fading results vary from person to person. ***Consult with manufacturers of any outside lightening and color removal products before attempting their use or get the advice of a licensed hair stylist. Asked by: Tasha 1982
yes! We suggest a strand test to determine specifics such as processing times and possible results, and allergies. It is especially important in situations where the hair is damaged, over-processed, or the intention is to attempt a dramatic alteration to the color of the hair. We highly recommend this if you have created a custom formula as it is the only way to preview the results.

It is always best to start with a clean canvas if you are looking for swatch results. The base of your strawberry blonde hair could alter the blue shade giving you "muddy results'. It is best to buy the hair color and perform a strand test to preview the color and then make a plan to pre-lighten.

Asked by: Blossom80
It would be difficult to make the proper recommendation without seeing the results of your hair. You would need a blue/green color lie Voodoo Blue or Atomic Turquoise. If you use any of the blues make sure to heavily dilute them with the Pastelizer or conditioner to make your own toner or toning shampoo.
