Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE FOR DARK HAIR. Was hoping to look cool with blue hair. Instead the only evidence of blue was directly on my scalp by my hair line. -_- horrible product. doesn't even specify for blondes. extreme disappointment. L' o re....brand has a good one. Especially for brunettes. There is hope.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only good for one use I bought several colors, and they are fun, but not enough product in a can for more than one use. It sprays so hard you can't control it, so you waste plenty. Plus the nozzles clog. Too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color on hair! My 8 year old son loves it and it washes right out of hair which is great! My kids share their colors with each other!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a quick color add I bought this for wacky hair day for my 5 year old son. The blue was perfect and showed well on his brown hair. Yes, it smells like hairspray. It stayed in all day and washed out easily that night. Would rec for a quick splash of color!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! I just wanted to be able to experiment with different hair colors without having to commit to them... this was the only washable hair dye that my Sallys had, so I got it. It's basically spray paint for your hair. It REEKS of chemicals when you spray it and it leaves your hair feeling like straw. The color is absolutely terrible as well. Very disappointed in this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color! I bought Party Stopping Plum to temporary color some pieces on my extensions. I did use heat to touch them up and it ended up just making the color a little lighter. They came out fabolous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great colors! I have gray/white hair and use it for a streak of color in my otherwise boring hair. I like the way I can aim it and it doesn't get all over the place with overspray. Also, other brands tend to stick the strands together like heavy-duty hair spray, and this doesn't do that - I can play around with it and not get the color on my hands. I use a latex glove when spraying, so I can separate just the strands I want sprayed and then just rinse the glove off or toss it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Pigmented Bought this bright red for my daughter's Halloween costume, it showed up great in her black hair and you could actually see the color. The spray does come out in a single stream which is not ideal for coverage and it dries to a crunchy texture but it was good for what we needed it for. Not recommended if you want to have soft flowy hair but the bright color is perfect for dark hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lucille Ball red I bought this for my lucille ball Halloween costume. The color was perfect! The color did bleed on my costume a bit but I expected that to happen. Would buy again!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You’ll need a lot. I only needed this for a Halloween costume, but I ended up using the cheap stuff from the grocery store instead. The Sally brand took a LOT to show up on my hair and smelt very bad. I decided it was took much work for what I wanted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for dark hair. Terrible experience. I bought this product last night as part of my costume for Halloween. The girl working told me that it worked just as good as Manic Panic and I would have no trouble seeing color on dark hair. She also added that the product would glow under a black light and I would only need about half a can. I was iffy about using spray but after speaking to someone at the store was confident and bought it. I ended up using the whole can with little to no visibility of the pink in my hair which is dark brown. Also, got to the Halloween event and the spray didn’t glow under a black light. To say the least was not happy with the product and wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great color, very poor execution. I purchased this the other day to give my 7 year old some color without bleaching. I'm giving it a 2-star FAIR because the color is very bright, especially on light to medium brown hair. But that's where it all ends. I thought ahead and put a towel around her shoulders, and since she only wanted her side-swept bangs done, we used toilet paper across her forehead. I think we got more on the toilet paper than her hair! It shoots out of the can is a straight stream at a super hard force. We still ended up with color everywhere (so good thing it removes with water). It's going back as it's absolutely useless. They need to fix the nozzle and how it comes out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible colour The entire can of iced out spray did absolutely nothing to my blonde hair. I almost passed out the smell was so bad and my hair now has glue in it. Never buying again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I bought 2 colors, they smell, they do not show well, and were very messy. it was so gross smelling I had to wash my hair again immediately. HUGE waste of money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works but... I bought this and it works very well even on the jet black hair i have. But my hair started to get seemingly shorter without me cutting it or using anything new except for this, so it might be this product it might not be it might just be me seeing something . Just warning you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your money This stuff came out in a big blob. Not smooth. I used their Ion temporary color and I liked it a lot better but they don't offer enough colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t do it! This stuff.. surprisingly care out of my hair! It was like tons of powder and liquid glue. Made a giant mess, made my hair all stick in one form! I looked like a troll doll. It not only dried my hair out worse than I’ve ever seen before! And I have been platinum blonde! Don’t use this lol. I regret it. Waste of money and time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, great color! This color is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm so happy with it that I just ordered 10 cans from you! Please don't ever discontinue it. I have greying hair and don't want to continue my natural color, which is a very boring mix of grey, "dirty dish water", and some white hairs. This spray really gives my hair a new look without appearing to be overwhelming. There are so few products for older adults who don't mind going grey but want to do it with style. Seems to me that there is, and will be, a huge market for products that help. Consider advertising for that, and producing more for that market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible odor The minute I started to spray this product it made me gag. It smells absolutely horrible, like nothing that should be put in your hair. I gave it a shot thinking maybe when it dried it would go away but it just lessened slightly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money on this product Temporary color for my 7-year old’s Halloween costume hair, Evie from Descendants. The cheap stuff from a discount store worked way better! It produced a more vibrant color and yields more than this overpriced one I bought at Sally’s. So glad I only bought one can of this and 2 of the cheap kind. Showed up better on her dark brown hair too, and washed right out. Yes, my stylist even told me any spray like these is essentially hair spray and is going to feel sticky/stiff/you can’t brush through it or style it after...tradeoff being it’s guaranteed to wash out, as opposed to anything semi-permanent (the risk you can’t take with kiddos in school!).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't Work At All The Iced Out hair spray color was terrible. It didn't do anything except coat my hair in this gross flaky dry layer. I was led to believe it would lighten my hair to some extent but there's no color coming out of the can at all. I wouldn't recommend at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You'll need multiple cans if you have dark hair I had one side done pretty nicely but when I moved on to the other side I ran out of product too quickly. Took a while for the color to show up but it eventually did. I picked a light purple color for my hair. It turned out pretty well on the areas that had enough spray. For reference, I have shoulder length curly hair. Will definitely wash out easily, not sure why people are removing stars for that. Its temporary so its not supposed to last past wash day. That's why you buy it in the first place. If it didn't take so much product to see results, I'd probably give it four stars. It was really easy to spray my frizz but not the rest of my hair so much, so some parts of my hair is just purple frizz on top of nearly black hair. Not as cool as it sounds. I'd take a picture of my hair, but its hard to show up on camera in both natural and artificial light. Which is really bizarre because its definitely noticeable in person. I almost gave this product three stars but if you can't preserve the memory of your temporarily crazy hair then what good was the product?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible color This stuff is NOT red. More like a bright pink that fades to light pink after a few hrs. Hair is stiff, color is uneven and pale, there is tons of glitter mixed in that flakes off everywhere. One bottle was barely enough for a light coat on a 5 year old's shoulder length blonde hair. Do not buy, it's a total waste. At least the color washes out really easily in the shower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK Depending On The Color You Get I bought Explosive Black and Iced Out (which I guess is supposed to be white. It doesn't actually tell you.) The black worked pretty well. The color wasn't super intense, but could be built up. I actually liked this because it made it easier to create a soft, natural appearance around the hairline instead of it shooting out like spray paint and having a hard line across your forehead. Be warned: This stuff smells horrible! Also, if you touch your hair, it will come off on your hands, but that's to be expected with temporary color spray. It washes out easily. The Iced Out color, however, was a total waste of money. I have dark blonde hair, and it basically did nothing. You could barely see it at all! I tried to build up a few layers, and it just looked like a dark, dingy grey color, like my hair was wet and dirty, not "icy" at all.

Is Iced Out a White Color?

Asked by: Boymom2019
Sorry but I have never used this color so I cannot answer this question, but I would presume from the name that it is white or silver. Hope that helps you.

Douse it come off on your hands if u touch your hair

Asked by: Missyg38
Does not come off if your hair is stays dry. I found that when there’s moisture ( shower, work out, sweat)  in my scalp or hair the color will come off on hands, pillow, etc. if you can keep it dry it stays on well. Or not touch it until it dries again..

I have white hair and want to give it some red like it used to be. How will this do for that?

Asked by: JanStrazinsky
This ids not the product you're looking for. The red came out very bright copper on me, I'm half gray half strawberry blonde/formerly chestnut red. It washes right out as it's only a temporary spray like hairspray (and just as stiff/sticky). It was fabulous for my one night concert hair, but one can only dusted the surface of my below shoulders hair. I will say if you're a light copper red, it's super for covering roots for a night out!

How long does it last  For

Asked by: Anuzzo41
It will last until you either wash it out or comb it out. Once in, do not play with it as the color won't last and it will be all over you hands..Hope you enjoy it, I had a lot of fun with it , even had some on at my grandson's wedding to match my dress and everyone loved it.

Does it work on dark/light brown hair?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it does! I have very dark brown, almost black hair with some grey in the front. I've used it on both my grey and dark brown and it covers both fairly well and washes right out if you want it to if not leave it in for a few days.

How long does the spray stay in a hair?

Asked by: Anonymous
Until you wash it out. Also, if you apply heat to it (like a curling iron), depending on the color and your hair, sometimes it gets sealed in and lasts beyond a shampoo or two, if you want.

Does this product work on natural brown hair

Asked by: Alicia602
Yes it does. I have three daughters and used the purple, turquoise and blue and all showed up very well. I used the entire can to do each one of their hair. They were 7, 6 and 5 at the time.
