Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dyes hair and everything else black This product did dye my brown hair black however anything that came into contact with my hair was also dyed black. I looked like I was covered in soot. Also it took at least 5 washes to be able to scratch my head without getting black under my nails.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sealed & Empty Ordered two. One bottle came sealed and practically empty. The product itself is good - been using it for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Golden Blonde with Icey White I am quite gray and color/highlight my hair. For root touch-up, (sometimes I go months between coloring), I use Streaks'nTips 'Golden Blonde' as a base, sprayed directly on roots, and 'Icy White' sprayed directly on top of the Golden Blonde. LOVE these products.

Can this be used on a med. brown synthetic hair wig?

Asked by: AnnieOK9
I haven’t really used it as much on synthetic wigs as much as human hair wigs, but it is worth giving it a try as is pretty cheap for a bottle. I think I did try it years ago on a synthetic wig and it took more spray? But it does come off a lot on the wigs like if you touch your (wig hair) wearing it- it’s on your    hands, shirt so I try blow drying it on low heat to set it in some. Hope I helped you some. :)

Is the color shiny or dull?

Asked by: k65GardenaCA
I spray very small amounts/limiting areas of the icy white for highlights on my natural ash blonde hair, and the shine diminishes during the day. I like the product and have been using it for several years. I did try the blonde spray, but it was quite unattractive & brassy. I hope this helps answer your question.

Can I use the black on really light blonde hair that’s natural? My son wants to use it for Halloween but I’m scared it’ll leave a darkish tiny in his hair because he has very porous hair

Asked by: Red12314
I don’t and won’t use any highlight spray except Streaks&Tips.I use the icey white and it washes right out.It also doesn’t destroy my hair. Most of those Halloween sprays are stiff and sticky. Can’t get a comb or brush through it.Your son will do a lot of crying trying to do anything with it.If Streaks &Tips makes black them go for it.If not....get him a cheap wig

my kids have medium brown hair and are crazy to get blond streaks and tips. Of course I'm only willing to do a temp option. Would this work?

Asked by: CaroInCary
I have done it during covid lockdown when salons were closed I have used these for years- the blonde isn’t blonde, blonde but it is fun and washes off and isn’t permanent if using it for kids. (they can try it)  I really like it on wigs and hair  extensions, it can rub off some on clothes though. But I do like the red color and again try it they might like it. When applied use a blow dryer over it on a lower setting to help set the color it, it will help it from running and spray more for a blonder look maybe. Goodluck.

I have a few purple highlights in my Summer hair. I have a joB interview next week  so A quick cover up. Is this a good choice?

Asked by: Michelle4635
No I wouldn’t say this is good for highlights or cover up for highlights. It’s good for roots though.

I have to play a old lady in a play..would this cover the hair and last 3 days and nights i have dark brown hair(dye) and am in need for a real color job so my roots are white. How much will one can cover.

Asked by: Jessimom
Depends on how long and thick your hair is. Two cans should be enough. It has to be washed out so it should last 3 or more days

Is this suitable for roots, in between having hair coloured?  I want to cover my grey roots in between. Thank you.

Asked by: Mickey11
Yes, it works very well to touch up roots while waiting to do your regular color. It washes out better than any other brand I have tried. You don't want the temporary color to stain your hair. I have light brown hair and the golden blonde works very well., The burnt brown is too dark. I just spray a small amount where my part is and the gray roots show.
