Rated 3 out of 5 by from Definitely a grey I bought this last night bc it was recommended over Wella I usually use Wella t18 and even tho I wanted to go grey at some point. I think I’m disappointed because it wasn’t suppose to be grey and I worked so hard on my blonde but oh well... if you don’t want a grey tint stay away !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible This took my level 8 blonde hair to a dark gray color. I’ve been trying to remove it with so many methods and it’s barely budging. Now it’s an ugly muddy blue green color

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comes a little gray I bought this to even out the tones in my hair, it took the yellow right out which I was happy about it made it slightly gray, which I'm bot mad about at all I only left it in for about 30 minutes and then toned it again for another 30. But the second time with 30 developer first with 10 to even it. I'm in love with my hair now I went from black to white in 3 days with barely any damage thanks to ion products! If you want a white then I dont recommend thisntoner for you because it will leave a gray tint!

What if I use a 30 vol developer??

Asked by: MollyTov
Depends on the condition of your hair. If you have healthy virgin hair ok. If you have colored multiple times watch it like a hawk. You may have to do it twice but give your hair a rest after the first time.

Can you use an ion toner on wet hair or only on dry?

Asked by: girlira21
It says to use “damp” hair so I’d go that route so your hair doesn’t end up too dry/brittle.

Will this work on dark colired hair? I'm wanting to put WHITE highlights in my dark raspberry hair.

You have to strip the color out first. Then lift to a level 9/10. After removing the color (where desired), you may then do a test strand first to see your results from different toners. Everyones hair is different. Especially how you've treated it with chemicals. It can be a process to safely and effectively remove any unwanted color to get to the level 9/10 without ruining the integrity of it in the first place. Coconut oil is extremely helpful, especially if you arw not a pro and need a good healthy barrier while lifting with bleach. Your hair is already been chemically processed, yes? So that means it'll be mich more difficult to lift out of hair without some extra damage. That's why I said it can take a good month to get to a very pale color before toning with t18 t14 by wella or this brand ion brightest whites.
