Would this work to take off remanence of green hair dye

Asked by: Bob ross
No...I am a licensed professional. You will need a bleach to lift color. This is a deposit only toner with 10 vol. Color will NOT lift color...only a bleach is strong enough to penatrate the hair shaft to lift the green from your hair. Once u do this.. u may need to do a soap cap with bleach as well to lift the remaining out if still visible. That is bleach, at least 30 volume, shampoo, and a hint of conditioner. Hope this helps

Will this work at all on level 7-8 blonde hair that's a bit too brassy/golden? Or does my hair have to be very light, like after bleaching?

I would say that level 9/10 would be ideal when using this product. If your hair is leaning more on the orange/red side, I'd imagine it would look pretty muddy, or you may not see any change at all. These toners are more cool toned and will have better performance on lighter hair. I'm not a professional, I just have years of experience. That being said, you should definitely reach out to someone who is a professional. You could always call a salon, as well. I've had years of experience with trial and error, blogs, YouTube and whatever else. A person who is certified, licensed and put in the real work are the ones to go to if you have doubts. Hopefully, someone else with more knowledge will see your question and help ya out. There are also bloga or communities you can Google where you can ask a professional. Sorry for the long reply. I just don't want anyone to come at me lol. I wanted to make it apparent to all that I'm not a pro :p.
