Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hair still VERY yellow I bleached my hair a few days ago. I used this toner after and it didn’t do a thing. My hair looked like Slim Shady... in a bad way. Would t recommend this product at all. In a few weeks I’m going to try Wella and I’m hoping it will work better :,(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toner I have been using this toner for about a year now.Tried Icy white on a pale yellow highlights.I makes them look platinum.I do wash my hair every day so this toner lasts for about three weeks.Advice,do not apply toner to already toned ends.Do them after you do roots first for about 10 min.It is easy to overtone the ends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Toners! I bought this because I bleached grey out of my hair and it started to turn peachy. I did a test strip on my damp hair and it didn't change the color. I rinsed it, then dried it and tried it again on completely dry hair. It worked amazing once my hair was dry. Definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great I bought Cool ivory and I can definitely tell a difference. Thought the only thing I didnt like was that my roots still look somewhat brassy compared to the ends of my hair. I may try a different color next time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Modern Beige with a 20 vol The first time I used it [Modern Beige] I got very weak results that didn't last because the instructions said to use a 10 vol developer (not enough penetration into the hair shaft). Two weeks later, I used it again, only this time with a 20 vol developer with the "ION step 1" protector (since my hair was already bleached to a level 9-10) and it stayed in my hair without washing out. I absolutely LOVE IT - such a pretty color! I am pretty pale (middle of WInter), so the Ash tones wash me out, but with Beige, it brings out the warmer tones in my skin so I look healthier, if that makes sense...so I bulk ordered this toner so I can keep using it as I dye my roots every-other month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought both the snowcap and spring blossom and neither tone well. I already have very light blonde hair so I'm able to get my hair fairly white without toning. This did absolutely nothing for my hair. On the plus side it didn't make my hair feel damaged. But definitely don't waste your money on this product!

Do you shampoo this out or just rinse it out? And do you apply conditioner after?

Asked by: Hairquestion
You rinse, then shampoo and condition as normal.

I really want to try these toners. However I want to achieve more of a ash blonde instead of silver or platinum any suggestions on which toner to select? Or perhaps I can mix two toners? I tried Wells T18 and T14 but didn’t like the results.

Asked by: Arithluna
I was very light, used Wella T14 and it had some green tones really coming through. I used a 10 developer with ion Spring Blossom and it was PERFECTION! This is the exact dirty blond I’ve been dreaming of.. i needed both sessions of toners, the T14 followed by ion Spring Blossom (after an intense bleach session).

Can I use a different volume developer...I have 20 & 30....what will happen if I use one of them?

Asked by: Jody1976
Yes you can, but a lot depends on the color of your natural hair is. I have dark sable brown hair and so I use Ion creme lightener and a 40 volume leaving it on my hair for 60 to 90 mins, and I still wind up with some orange, so then I apply Ions Snow Cap Creme toner and a 40 Vol, to achieve a platinum color. I hope this helps. If not do not hesitate to ask more questions

My hair is quite white on top but the rest is more gray/salt/pepper. I want it to look more platinum. What would you recommend for me?

Asked by: NonnaRIG
This product is a toner, not a hair dye. It will not lighten your hair. It is meant to even out unwanted undertones in recently lightened hair.
