A definite re-buy !I do advise not to leave it on, as long as the directions state. I reccomend doing only 1/3 to 1/2 of that stated time.

Ct18 vs t18I normally get wella t18 (liquid) toner but my Sally's was out and I didn't want to wait or pay for shipping so I got ct18 tango cream toner. It was easy to apply, I used 20 vol developer to get more vibrant results and left on for 40 min. My hair has more yellow tones to it than when using t18. Not impressed with it but it's not horrible if you want more of a "natural" light blonde than platinum.

Nice tone on pale light bleached hairBleached my hair 3 times within a months time to achieve the pale banana yellow lightness. Used 2 tubes CT 18 Lavender Ice Color Tango toner with 2 - 2oz. bottles of 20 vol Color Tango developer. ( I have shoulder length course, thick hair. ) Very happy with the results. Pleasant scent & did not damage my hair.

Good tonerI highlighted my own black (colored treated) hair using a 30v developer and powder bleach using the cap method. Left it on approx 50 minutes. I still had gold, which to me, is yellow and orange combined. I used the Tango Toner in Vanilla Creme with Wella 6v Creme developer, which is for deposit only toning. This shade counteracts orange and yellow, being a blue/violet base toner. I left it on for 15 minutes on the highlighted strands. Results were good. I was happy it really created a softer medium blonde. I did not want to bleach to pale yellow and use
Lavender Ice, because my base color was black. Last year I did a full head bleach and used the Cafe au Lait toner on pale yellow. Results was a beautiful Taylor Swift medium beige blonde.

Loved Cafe Au Lait, Where It TookAfter bleaching my regrowth i wanted to tone the brassiness out. Id been using Age Perfect and it worked 50% of the time, this time it did not, so i tried this in Cafe Au Lait with 20 vol developer for 40 mins. the places the color actually took were beautiful, but it was so uneven. It also pretty much completely washed out the first time I washed it 3 days later. Anyone know a comparable color toner from a brand that works? i really loved the color.

No goodVery disappointed going to go back to color charm. Weird coating on hair that lasts for weeks don’t let the description of product fool you. I don’t even know why they make this, Color Charm works much better

Creme Brulee TonerBeautiful hue however I meant to order color rather than toner. So I ended up trading it for what I needed.
My hair went from blond to gray when I put a medium blond on my hair. What toner should I use to take out the dark gray? I have about 3 or 4 different colors in it somehow.

Color oops your hair so you have a clean slate. Then you may want to fill ur hair with a red filler before going any darker or just try a toner with less ash. Your hair is Porous, so it’s going to grab the gray from the toners.

Hi, Will C27 Creme Brulee tone down ash colored lowlights that are too dark? I feel like my lowlights are too dark and make my hair look dull. Thanks

If my hair is a very brassy orange after my husband bleached my natural brown hair. He didn’t believe me that it would. It’s just hair. What blue toner is the best recommendation?

Well use Ct14 color tango but it may have to be bleached again in my opinion.

Can the ct14 be used on brunette hair to tone down orange:brassy tones or is this strictly for blondes?
Asked by: Maria383
My hair is naturally black but I bleach it to a level 8 or 9. I use this product between salon visits to make my roots a soft brown. It blends better and makes them easier to bleach. So for me it works just fine on brunette hair but it will lighten it some.
