Permanent Liqui-Creme Topcoat Toners
What is it?
NEW AGEbeautiful Liqui-Creme Topcoat Toners are formulated to neutralize unwanted warmth and deposit rich, multi-faceted, ashy, beige or pearlized color. Provides blondes with a polished finish and radiant shine, perfect to use after pre-lightening or highlighting hair. Contains moisturizing Vitamin E for healthy scalp and hair.
Silver Ash Blonde – Counteracts orange with ashy blue pigments
Pearl Blonde – Counteracts yellow with neutral iridescent pigments
Beige Blonde – Counteracts yellow with rosy violet pigments

What makes it special?

Mixing and Application: AGEbeautiful Topcoat Toners can be mixed using a bowl and brush and/or applicator bottle. AGEbeautiful Topcoat Toner is mixed 1:1 (Equal parts AGEbeautiful Topcoat Toner and AGEbeautiful developer 10 or 20 volume.) Pour 2 oz. of developer into applicator bottle or bowl (approx. ½ of the developer provided). Pour entire 2 oz. tube of color into applicator bottle or bowl. Mix well. Apply topcoat toner.
Developer Usage and Timing: (without heat):10 Volume (3%) for more color deposit/ 20 Volume (6%) for less color deposit. Process 10 to 20 minutes, checking every five minutes, until the desired result is achieved. Rinse hair well after application, shampoo, and condition.

Pearl Permanent Toner
I am very happy with my results. So I bleached by roots because my hair was already bleached prior. I used a 10 developer after bleaching with the Pearl shade. This will be my “go to”from now on.

This is the perfect neutral blonde toner
After trying every color & formula I could get my hands on I finally found the perfect toner for my bleach blonde hair giving it a light beige blonde with a touch of whitish/silver BUT not to point where it gives that purple or green under tone. It’s perfect & trust me when I say Ive tried them all some over & over with different timing but none came close to this. I buy it a dozen at a time to make sure I never run out

My go to toner.
Amazing toner. I’ve used the silver ash and the pearl. The silver ash worked wonders after bleaching my hair I used the silver ash to rid the orange tones I had left after a bleach. My hair did not turn drabby grey not green due to the ash, but a beautiful silver. Left my hair full and soft. Pearl worked wonders on any yellow I had. It surpasses wella toner by far.

Don’t let the reviews scare you
Don’t be scared by some of the reviews, this product works really well. It really helped take out all my Covid-blonde banding. Just double check which one you get. Pearl Blonde rids yellow and violet overtones. The Pale Blonde also does a great job on yellow over tones, but I needed the a Pearl Blonde. My hair post coloring is very shiny And soft. It is defiantly working like a gloss as well, I am very pleased. I used it with 20 volume after using a high lift blonde on my roots and outgrowth. Overall, I would buy this product again and/or recommend it to a friend.

Used as directed, barely did anything
I had lightened my hair to a level 10 and used the beige toner. The change was very slight. I wouldn't recommend this or buy again. It's the only toner left in store at the time I bought it.

Love this on my natural white hair!
I am 62 yrs young. I have natural white hair with very little grey. Did strand testing with permanent hair color. Nothing turned out the color I wanted. Used the silver ash blonde topcoat toner. Matched the color perfect!! Did this 7 weeks ago. Just touched up my roots. Left on roots 10 min. Then applied it all over head left on another 10 min. Freshened up the color.

A few applications may be necessary
Didn’t really remove the brass but it definitely lightened, was easy to use and had a pleasant smell. It also didn’t damage the hair so I feel confident that in another couple of weeks that another application will provide the desired result. To be continued...

Worst toner ever!!
This was beyond a waste of money and needless chemicals for my hair since I have to tone again. I bought this toner Ash blonde from zoyos top coat brand cause I couldn't find Wella T18 toner. What a disappointment. Half hour on and nothing. Will wait on my Wella T18. Now that is a toner. 10 to 15 minutes and done.. I added a picture of the useless outcome..

Gives me a nice greige finish but doesn’t last long on the actual grey hairs. I had a few bumps on my scalp afterwards but not too painful. I am extremely sensitive to everything. As far as color and coverage this is a good cool beige.

Did not tone, made hair more orange!
I used the silver ash blonde with 10 volume developer. Not only did it not tone my hair at all, but it lifted my previously I colored roots to an orange shade!
Terrible!
I could see nothing was happening (no color change in the mixing cup) but applied thinking this product perhaps worked differently.
Stick to Wella . :(

Great toner!
I enjoy these toners a lot. They’re probably the best ones I’ve used at home. They don’t have a strong smell and they definitely do what they’re supposed to do! I received this product free for testing purposes.

I'm trying to get my boyfriend's brown hair to "Billy Idol" platinum (or Draco Malfoy, Spike from Buffy -- whatever pop culture reference suits your fancy). We bleached and it came out mostly yellow. Will this take us to platinum?

Hi. I just used a boxed hair dye (L’Oréal) and the whole top of my head is orange. I am trying to take away the brass ones and just look blonde. I have 3 products in my cart. Which is best to use? I am hoping a toner will do the trick! Thank you!

Stylist made my hair platinum yellowy instead of natural blonde like I wanted. To get that natural blonde from yellowish platinum like hair... out of these toners what would anyone suggest me using?
I would recommend the ash. The beige and the pearl are beautiful but leave a pinkish tone.

I am looking for a toner/ called a glaze, by ex stylist. Full foils done/high & low lights in a "High-end" salon. I feel the "new" stylist wasn't able to mix products well > bad brassy tones. Can Liqui-creme topcoat be used for color correction ?
It’s hard to answer without seeing it. If they didn’t lift the hair light enough- that could cause the toner to not work. If that’s the case, they would need to lift the hair again to make it blonder.

I don’t want it to be completely white blonde, however I would like a very cool medium ash blonde. Should I use the pearl blonde so it doesn’t become too white? Or should I use a medium ash blonde hair color over my hair once it’s lifted?
Pearl is not the choice if you are looking for a cool ash-blonde tone. Try Wella’s number 14 liquid semi-permanent toner before committing to a permanent color. Let us know what you decide.
