Clairol Professional® TRUE COLOR™ Standard mixing Ratio 1:1
1. Mix 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR™ Permanent Color with 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR™ Developer (20, 30 or 40 volume).
2. Apply color mixture to dry hair
3. Process for 30 minutes o Rinse, shampoo & condition o For Stubborn / Resistant Grey hair use the NN series (3NN, 5NN, 6NN, 7NN) and add an additional 5-10 minutes of processing time at the new growth area.
4.. Rinse, shampoo & condition Toning with True Color. Mixing ratio, 1:1 for a strong toning effect or 1:2 for soft toning.
Strong toning
1. Mix 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR Permanent Color with 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR Developer (20 volume).
2. Apply color mixture to towel dried hair
3. Process for 15-25 minutes
4. Check every 5 minutes until your desired color is reached
Soft toning
1. Mix 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR Permanent Color with 2 parts Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR Developer (6 volume).
2. Process for 10-15 minutes
3. Rinse, shampoo & condition
Refreshing /glossing with Clairol Professional True Color
1. Mixing Ratio: Mix 1 part Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR™ Permanent Color with 2 parts Clairol Professional TRUE COLOR™ Developer (6 volume).
2. Apply mixture to dry or damp hair
3. Process for 5-10 minutes o Check every few minutes until your desired color is reached
4. Rinse, shampoo & condition
Permanent color works by removing hairs natural pigment and depositing color into hair. Permanent color can fade over time but can only be removed by using a lightener.

Other tips:
• Always perform a strand and patch test.
• It is often not necessary to refresh the ends of the hair on every permanent hair color touch-up application.
• For gray, use N shades ( 1N, 2N, 4N, 5N, 6N, 7N, 8N) with 20 Volume TRUE COLOR™ Developer and apply to gray area first.
•For resistent gray, use NN shades ( 3NN, 5NN, 6NN, 7NN ) with 20 Volume TRUE COLOR™ Developer
•Apply coconut oil (or another barrier cream) around your hairline.
• Choose a shade 1 level lighter than desired if you are unsure of which shade to use or if you have very few gray hairs.
• Use an old t-shirt, towel, or coloring cape to protect your clothing.
