Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product This works awesome for fusion extensions. The only thing you have to do if you dont want to soak it for ever is use pliers to break the bonds more and then the extensions slide right out. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than expected I just used this today, after wearing professionally installed, high quality tape in extensions I could not get used to the weight or inability to scratch my head. I successfully removed 70 wefts in about an hour & a half with very little hair loss. I saturated both sides of the wefts, just above & below the tape and rubbed softly. I left each one soak for a few minutes while I sprayed the next few & rubbed, then went back and just used my fingernails to gently pull apart the tapes from a corner. Once the tape was opened exposing the adhesive, I sprayed a tiny bit more on the exposed hair and softly rubbed it before I gently removed the weft from the hair. You must be patient & soft with it, but my bonds were very strong and not at all ready to come off, and I was surprised at how well this worked!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leaves hair oily but works well. I'm glad I hadn't read the reviews before I picked this up in the store. An associate recommended it for removing extensions that had been badly taped in. I used about half the bottle (may have gone a little overboard) and saturated the area with the tape-ins and both the extensions and the glue that was in my hair from the few that had already come out of my hair removed very easily. Took a couple washes with clarifying shampoo to remove the residue but worth it. I also used it to remove the glue left on the extensions so I could reuse them. I dipped the ends in the product let it sit for a few minutes and rubbed it in. It made peeling off the glue left on the extensions much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Wonders! I bought this remover oil to see if I could get the clumps of glue out of my hair after I glued my extensions in for a couple weeks. I used about half the bottle, the smell was amazing - smelled like oranges! I used a fine tooth comb to comb out of the clumps of glue residue! I left the oil in for a few hours, now have 0 clumps of glue left in my hair! The only problem now is, my hair is extremely oily and a little sticky (from the residue). But I think it will come out after a dozen more washes :) Super impressed with this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT waste your time with this I bought this product last night to help get my tape in extensions out & it did literally nothing!! I spent 5 hours using olive oil to get them out. This stuff is awful!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING Tape Extension Remover ! I am excited to write this review about this product! I have been doing my own Tape extensions for about 2 years now and have previously used the other Sally Removers which I enjoyed but now they do not sell them in stores where I live anymore.. So I was really nervous to switch to this remover because of all the bad reviews I read about it.. Needless to say, it worked WONDERS.. It did not come with the little red top when I purchased it, so I poured some of the product into a Small Travel size Spray Bottle that I bought from Dollarama to reduce the mess and spray right on the weft. I only used ONE-TWO sprays per weft and my extensions slid right out!! (I did not have Sally Brand hair extensions in either). It did not pull at all and the spray bottle helped to not use to much product to reduce the excess oil going in my hair! I was able to remove 100g of hair in just 20 minutes... I rinsed my hair with Clarifying Shampoo (Anti Residue), washed it out, applied the clarifying shampoo again (2 more times) then rinsed before Drying my hair. (This eliminated the issue of rinsing it only once with the clarifying shampoo, drying it all, just to be left with oil still in the hair) There was no oil residue on my hair when dried! And it actually felt pretty soft. The product also smells nice, not harsh at all. I hope this helps the next person wanting to remove their extensions! I think the spray bottle really helped and when used properly, this product is awesome!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Definitely do not recommend. I left the product on to let the glue supposedly soak a while still did not work. Ended up having to pull apart the tape bonds down the middle after drenching in the product with very little help. Never again!

Can this be used to take tape in extensions out?

Asked by: Barnes28
Yes, my friend (hair stylist) has been doing my extensions for at least 3 years and I take them out myself. I have used many removers that simply do not work. I picked this up last night and just used it and wow! It worked wonderful! I simply seperated the bonds and then with a q-tip applied the remover directly to the tapes and used a fine tooth comb and they slid right out!

I recently had my eyelash extensions done. There not easy to take off. Will this remover help?

Asked by: BeccyR123
Hey, cosmetologist here. DO NOT  use hair extension remover for lash extensions. It’s not safe for your eyes. And the glues are completely different from each other.  There is eyelash extension remover that is specifically made for lash extensions. Talk to your lash professional before taking your eyesight into your own hands.

The instructions are super small!  I can not read any of them. I have no idea. Do I apply the whole bottle, and how long should I leave it on?

Asked by: ConnieA66
No. Never use the whole bottle. I had plan to get a little glass dish and pour a little bit not a lot in it and take a handful of extensions or maybe 10 at a time and soak them for a couple of minutes and then try rubbing off the glue it says with a clean cloth. I know the directions are very poor. Try to just soak the scene part not the hair. I know it's a hassle I'm always tempted just to buy more. Too bad they're so expensive. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Does this work with microbead fusion extensions?

Asked by: MartiSchreiber
This is hair bond remover. It says in the description its mainly made for Satin Strands tape in extensions, meaning its for glue blonds, not fusion bonds. However, it is really oily, so i could see how it may help with slipping off the microbead. Although, Im pretty certain a technician is supposed to remover fusions with a special tool. Call a local salon and theyll tell you what you should do. I dont think/am not sure if this product would be that useful for removing microbead fusions.
