Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent highly recommend This product is the best tape in hair extension remover on the market!!! It smells like coconut and is easy on the hair. I used a soft toothbrushes and brushed each taped weft front and back and let it soak 15 min. I pulled each sandwich tape apart! Amazing product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes extension removal painless I was pretty amazed at how easy it was to remove my tape in extensions that have extremely strong tape. I was nervous to remove myself in quarantine, but it helped my strips slide off easily. After washing and drying the extensions, they were soft and in good condition. It’s very oily (obviously) so you may have to double wash your wig etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked amazing! I bought this to remove my extensions from my hair as I have scalp psoriasis and didnt expect it to get as bad as it did. They were also extremely uncomfortable. I think using little bits of my psoriases creams loosened them up a bit to begin with but my boyfriend and I first did my extensions one by one and let it sit an hour. Then I got inpatient and used up half the bottle drenching my hair, letting it sit for an hour and that seemed to work. They came out no problem and I brushed my hair after strand by strand to get the remaining glue out. Also I found it to smell quite nice. It is messy as it needs quite a bit to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product This works awesome for fusion extensions. The only thing you have to do if you dont want to soak it for ever is use pliers to break the bonds more and then the extensions slide right out. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than expected I just used this today, after wearing professionally installed, high quality tape in extensions I could not get used to the weight or inability to scratch my head. I successfully removed 70 wefts in about an hour & a half with very little hair loss. I saturated both sides of the wefts, just above & below the tape and rubbed softly. I left each one soak for a few minutes while I sprayed the next few & rubbed, then went back and just used my fingernails to gently pull apart the tapes from a corner. Once the tape was opened exposing the adhesive, I sprayed a tiny bit more on the exposed hair and softly rubbed it before I gently removed the weft from the hair. You must be patient & soft with it, but my bonds were very strong and not at all ready to come off, and I was surprised at how well this worked!

Can this be used to take tape in extensions out?

Asked by: Barnes28
Yes, my friend (hair stylist) has been doing my extensions for at least 3 years and I take them out myself. I have used many removers that simply do not work. I picked this up last night and just used it and wow! It worked wonderful! I simply seperated the bonds and then with a q-tip applied the remover directly to the tapes and used a fine tooth comb and they slid right out!

I recently had my eyelash extensions done. There not easy to take off. Will this remover help?

Asked by: BeccyR123
Hey, cosmetologist here. DO NOT  use hair extension remover for lash extensions. It’s not safe for your eyes. And the glues are completely different from each other.  There is eyelash extension remover that is specifically made for lash extensions. Talk to your lash professional before taking your eyesight into your own hands.

The instructions are super small!  I can not read any of them. I have no idea. Do I apply the whole bottle, and how long should I leave it on?

Asked by: ConnieA66
No. Never use the whole bottle. I had plan to get a little glass dish and pour a little bit not a lot in it and take a handful of extensions or maybe 10 at a time and soak them for a couple of minutes and then try rubbing off the glue it says with a clean cloth. I know the directions are very poor. Try to just soak the scene part not the hair. I know it's a hassle I'm always tempted just to buy more. Too bad they're so expensive. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Does this work with microbead fusion extensions?

Asked by: MartiSchreiber
This is hair bond remover. It says in the description its mainly made for Satin Strands tape in extensions, meaning its for glue blonds, not fusion bonds. However, it is really oily, so i could see how it may help with slipping off the microbead. Although, Im pretty certain a technician is supposed to remover fusions with a special tool. Call a local salon and theyll tell you what you should do. I dont think/am not sure if this product would be that useful for removing microbead fusions.
