Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Extensions! I bought these extensions and LOVE them! They are soft, silky, and look amazing!!! I use prestige shampoo and styling products. It can’t seem a little dry after the first wash, but applying healing, hydrating serum works wonders. It blends sooo nicely with my natural hair. I will continue purchasing. I will also purchase for my clients as well!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tape in extensions I have been using tape in extensions for 4 years now and never had any problems. However my last purchase left me upset. After my hairstylist put them on , basically they all came out the same day. Turns out they were lacking a glue. They weren’t sticky at all and didn’t stay on my hair. This is a first time it happened and I believe I bought damaged set. Unfortunately through out the packaging way before I used them so can’t return them or exchange. At this point I’m afraid to buy another set.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope So as I read the reviews, I was like yup! So my stylist has been using this brand for a while and for whatever reason, the ones I bought, the tape did not stick. She was so confused, this has not happened to her before! And honestly the only reason why I purchased these is because I had purchased a pack of Hair Couture and realized it wasn’t enough, mid application, and Sallys was the only hair extension store opened on a Sunday. I have purchased the Satin Strands weft and it was very itchy. I thought it was because it was a weft, nope I just think it’s this brand of hair. I have sensitive skin, and I am pretty sure I’m allergic to this hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Adhesive tape’s are terrible The quality of this hair is pretty good, I’ve seen better. The color is very nice too, but the adhesive tapes were terrible. I could not put them in my hair without them falling out immediately. Luckily I work next-door to a Sally’s store, they gave me a free package of tape so that I could re-tape them my self but even those weren’t that good. I’ve had these extensions in for three weeks and I have lost four wefts of hair and I a few that are pretty loose at the moment. If you don’t mind re-taping all of the hair before you have them put it in, I guess these extensions are Ok

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible!! Wish I could get money back!!! Bought extension for my stylist to apply. After she applied and cut to the length, some fell rt out. Then the next morning more fell out. How embarrassing. Worst part how much I had to spend. Product should be pulled from shelf. Especially if Sally’s isn’t going to refund a product they don’t stand behind!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What is this tape! I have used these extensions many, many times. Never had a problem with them. I’ve been extension free for a year and just purchased again. Noticed the blue tape. Wouldn’t even adhere!!!! They fell out instantly!!!!!! Never had this problem! Now I am going to have to spend more money for more tape. Go back to the original tape or you will be getting more reviews like this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These suck! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I’m certified in extensions for years. I bought these to try them and used these on a friend of mine. I was having a lot of trouble getting them to bond together and as soon as we got done applying the extensions she brushed her hair and they FELL OUT! All that hard work and money for nothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but you must follow directions I’ve been wearing these for five years. I take them out every six weeks. When I have them replaced I use new ones for the bottom of my hair. As they get old (a few months) they will tangle if you don’t do this. Never had a problem since. The color is a match to my own and my hairdresser uses a slightly lighter shade to sandwich my own shade with for highlights. You CANNOT wash them for 24-48 hours after application. The longer the better. If you wash they WILL fall out. I do get some sticky residue just in the back bottom of my hair. This eventually works it’s way out. I bought a solvent on amazon to take them out. I only use any one extension for maybe two six week sessions before replacing them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible color I thought this color was dirty blonde when I ordered it online and it ended up being orange. I am very disappoint with this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from tape did NOT work I brought these to a stylist to install them and we had to actually peel the tape off all of them and replace it with her roll of hair tape because it just wouldnt stick (to my hair or to itself). It was ridiculous. The hair itself is fine but it gets tangled. There really are better options

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Extensions fell out immediately!!! I used an experienced hairdresser to install my extensions like she has for me for 3 years now. These extensions started falling out almost immediately. The tape was not sticky at all. 13 of them fell out at a Christmas party!! It was humiliating!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the hair, hate the tape tabs I have used these tape in extensions for about 3 years. ( I have been using extensions - sew in, tape in, clip in for well over 10 years) The new blue tape is terrible and I have to immediately replace the tape tabs unless I want my extensions to fall out after the first wash. With that being said, the quality of the hair is comparable to $200+ hair which is why I continue to buy Satin Strands product, but I wish they would change back to their original tape.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad tape The tape sucks on these. I applied them and they all fell out. I had to put new tape on them and they worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistency For the past year I’ve been buying these extensions. Out of the 15 packs I bought, I was only able to use 6. The glue was not strong enough for the extensions to stay in my hair. They would slip right out. I’ve wasted so much money on buying a pack that would hopefully have strong glue. You can’t even return it exchange them for quality issue. I will not be purchasing these ever again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not adhere to hair The hair is great but the tapes were not sticky like they usually are.My stylist put them as she always does and they fell right out. It was strange. My stylist had to retape every single one of them and they worked out after that. Must have been a bad batch of tape or they changed the tapes they use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So angry! Falling apart! I have been using these extensions for over a year. I buy new hair every four months. I buy 3 packs at a time and I use St. Lucia. I am so angry. They are falling apart. They are separating and splitting after 2 weeks. I do not wash my hair all the time to ensure that the tape doesn't come loose. I have them hanging out every where. Over $200 and my extensions are all screwed up after 2 weeks. Unacceptable!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I’ve bought about 6packs of these over the last few years and I loved them. Up until the last pack I would have highly recommended. The last pack I ordered the tape was not adhesive enough and the full pack fell out of my hair over the span of 12 hours. This was very abnormal and I’m very upset by this. I have written an email to the company and have not heard back yet and it’s been 5 days. Sad and angry about product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So dissapointed Pieces are falling apart. Losing hair and breaking into two pieces. So embarrassing and dissapointing. Such a waist of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality I have used this brand multiple times. First thing- you can’t wash your hair the same day or the next. You need to wait a couple days. When taking them out you need to use alcohol. It’s the only way I can do it without ripping out my own hair. Spray it by the tape and start to tear them apart carefully. When putting them back in just put the new tape over the old tape. After a couple times you will need to start taking off the old tape when reputting them back in. If your hair knots when it’s curled you could be using too much hairspray. I learned that lesson. When I curl my hair I don’t use any freeze hairspray or it will tangle. Make sure you use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I used the same pack for over 6 months before buying new. You just need to take care of them and condition them regularly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not happy. I bought these hair extensions and had them put in by my hair stylist at the end of August! I’m not one to ever write a bad review. For the month of September, the extensions were fine! Then, October 5, I went to my hair stylist for a wedding and had my hair curled on a low setting. The next morning I woke up and my hair was all knotted and matted. I panicked. I only had these in for 4 weeks! I had work the next day and had to take them out myself with conditioner. I had no choice. What upsets me is that they are suppose to be reusable and also the fact that I have alopecia and had to take these out with the risk of losing more hair. Very unhappy with these extensions. Thought I would get more then 1 month out of them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t do it. The last pack I got didn’t even stick. I wasted $100 on trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hair These hold very well in my hair for at least a month or more. I even color them to match the rest of my hair color. I try to be careful around the tape because it will loosen them up. I love these. They style great too.

How much are tape in for a stylist with there license

Asked by: Erica rue
When I started wearing the Tape ins, my first set was $300.00. That was cost of 2 PKS of exts and the charge to put them in. Then I started taking my own exts in and paid ONLY cost to put them in.$75.00. She takes exts she takes out, washes them and puts new tape on them for my next visit. Mind you, I have 2 sets of extensions so I never have to wait between sets. Make sense? I recommend you but your extensions. You will need 2 packs per set.
