Rated 5 out of 5 by from smallest non static round brush I can find! This is a great brush! Doesn't tangle in fine hair and makes my limp color-treated look full and shiny when used with a good blow dryer! Great price too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from just what I wanted but couldn't find locally The smallest of these brushes was just what I was looking for. I used to be able to find brushes like this at grocery and drug stores, but now no store in my area (just outside Washington, DC--hardly a remote location) seems to carry them.

What are the DIMENSIONS ? I need 1" diameter. No bigger width. Please

Asked by: best doo
The smallest brush is basically 1" in diameter. I measured it and from the round tips on one side to the other is about 1 1/8 ". My hair is very short (2" on the crown) and I can get the hair to fully wrap around the diameter of the brush. This is the smallest diameter of brush I have found anywhere.

How big around is the smallest size around that you have looking for one for really short hair?

Asked by: Donna Vice
I use the smallest one on hair under 2" in length. Longer hair would get tangled in it. I'm guessing it's 1/2" or less at the core and with the bristles 1 1/2" in diameter. Don't have one where I'm at right now to measure, but I've been using the smallest size for 20 years on short hair.

I truly love this brush, the only thing wrong with it is that the little red balls on the tips fall off after just using it 2-4 times when you use it blow drying you hair, WHY??????

Asked by: Lisa1957
I am on my third of these brushes and after a couple of years, the red balls slide down to the core of the brush, leaving those prickly bristles that scratch my scalp. I've never had the red ball tips fall off and I do use it to blow dry my hair. My hair isn't very thick anymore so that may be why mine last longer. The only thing I have figured out to do is order a new brush. Last time, I ordered 2 so I had a spare on hand.
