Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Hot Air Brush I purchased this hot air brush about a month ago when I had my hair cut very short and found my former hot air brush was too large for my short hair. It works really well and does exactly what I needed it to do. It does not get too hot as my former air brush did, but it gets hot enough to get the job done. The only thing that surprised me was that it doesn't come apart for easier storage. However it is short enough that it works out fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad product! After owning this model for years, I decided to buy the same model 3-1/2 months ago when the original one died. I paid $40 for it. It has already quit working. Sally won't exchange it because it has been over 60 days & Conair won't answer my email about replacing it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Tool for Hair I bought the Hot Air Brush after my hair stylist used one while I was there. I love this product for the ease of use and the soft curls and volume that it gives. It is easy to use and will be a benefit on trips. Love it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I wanted to try this for drying and styling my hair... I am older and the round brush and hair dryer are exhausting for me. This dryer is nice and light and left my hair silky just isn't powerful enough for my took so long to dry my hair I was more than exhausted....I am sure this little brush will be perfect for some people... just not for me...I am disappointed that it did not work out for me...Conair makes excellent products...I am truly sorry I can not write a more favorable review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great fro short hair Very glad I bought this! It's hard to find a small enough barrell for my short hair, but this is just enough to give my hair some lift and shape. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish it had a little bit more drying power, but that is easliy managed by doing a good pat dry with a towel. All in all a great purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for short hair Not quite achieving what lift I need for my short hair with my dryer and small round brush, I was hopeful this product would give me what I need. Overall, it does a great job and I love how soft my hair feels. I am still working to find the miracle product that would work best with this styling tool. Recommendations from your wonderful product lines would be helpful.

what size is the barrel i am looking for a 1 inch that blow dries hair not heat up

Asked by: Cathy 1957
This heats up. It’s a one inch barrel you wrap your hair around. Then hot air curls it. It’s a curling iron without the fear of getting burned by the barrel since it blows hot air.

how can I clean the brush (hard bristle not soft)? i do not see anything inside of the brush, can I clean with wet warm cloth - unplugged of course.

Asked by: Suekrame
Unplug the airbrush, and do not proceed until you have done so! I remove as much hair, etc. from the brush and then stand the airbrush up in a glass  of warm water, making sure the water does not go above the bristles on the brush. I let this  soak in the water for about an hour. Then I take an old toothbrush and clean the bristle area. Then very carefully run clean  water  over the bristle area,  again making sure to not get water in the motor area. Then take a towel and shake as much water as possible out of the brush. Very Important!!! -  let the brush air dry for several hours before plugging it in and using the unit.  You do not want to get electrocuted. I have used this method for years and it always works for me.

Are the bristles a brush or hard plastic. I need a 3/4 inch brush for shorter hair- where can I find it? I have The 1 1/2 inch- hard to use on short hair will keep it anyway.

Asked by: Mornings
Bristles are like hair brush but not quite as soft. I like it because it's not the firm plastic tipped that catches my fine thin hair.

Is it available in store?

Asked by: martidiv3
I suggest you call the store near you. I had to order on-line as my local store did not have it when I went there. However for many years I have been able to shop locally - just not last year.
