Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than a shampoo I used to hate the idea of never using shampoo, because using a conditioner to wash your hair damages the hair long term and the hair is never actually clean. But this “co-wash” gets my hair super clean, even times where I stretch my wash day to a few weeks. I just use it twice and my hair always comes out defined and clean, and never stripped dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer for Keratin treatments My scalp itches and gets oily the day after I I've always wanted to wash my hair daily. I do keratin treatments and you're not supposed to wash often. Also shampoos and cleansing conditioners claim to be sulfate free but hide sulfates and strip out keratin. This stuff makes my keratin treatment last, and I can wash my hair every day. You don't need conditioner with this, but I condition because I like extra slip. If you like a slippery daily wash for your Keratin treatment, you're gonna love this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I really love this GroWash, CoWash. I've used lots of CoWashes before, including Wen. I've finally found my CoWash. This CoWash makes my hair feel clean & soft. It also decreases tangles. I will continue to use as long as the formula stays the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soo much slip I love As I Am. This is my favorite co-wash. This product gives you soo much slip that you could even detangle with it. The co-wash smells soo good. The whole long and luxe line smells like pomegranate. The texture is creamy yet runny. And this co-wash lathers a little bit. After using this product you will have the juiciest looking curls ever.

Does it make ur hair grow???

Asked by: Nessha27
Hair grows on average, 1/2” monthly. Retaining length by strengthening hair will reduce breakage and shedding, which leads to longer, fuller hair.

I have long naturally straight dirty blond 54 year old hair with some long layers cut in. My hair is prone to dry and flyaway days so wash only 2 x a week. I currently use Aveda Rosemary Mint or Biolage Fiber-Strong & Wen 6/13. Does this compare to Wen?

Asked by: ShelisaS
Hi, my name is Carneatha.  I’m not an expert but am a natural...going on 5 years now.  In regards to your hair, shampooing twice weekly with a shampoo with a minty product and another with fiber.  I see the mint as clarifying/cleansing and then the fiber as a protein, so a moisturizing product will not hurt.  I would replace one of your washes with the co-wash for a balance.  Just a suggestion.  Try it just for a it would be like this...wash with either mint wash/cowash/fiber wash/cowash and so on.  I hope all goes well with you and your journey.

Is this product good for thick, coarse, dry and frizzy hair?

Asked by: Magi Mae
I'm not that certain, as I have fine curly hair. It does have a lot of slip, and provides moisture.

Are these products good for dry damaged hair?

Asked by: Traccyyy
If the hair is heat damaged; nothing can repair that. You will have to cut that off. It is good for dry hair though.

Is this for ethnic hair

Asked by: Maggylee
Yes, it is for ethnic hair. I like it just as much as the Coconut Co-Wash. They smell amazing and make my type 4 hair very soft and easy to comb through wet.

Hi,I removed my locs a few days ago. I've had surgeries and so many procedures and medications took my hair out so badly I now have bald spots. I couldn't see the top of my head. What should I begin with? No chems in my hair since before 2000!

Asked by: Peaches Q
My mother had bald spots after an illness and rubbing that spot with coconut oil evert night and morning helped her. Castor oil is good for hair growth as well. Regular scalp massages help. Biotin is a supplement that is also good for hair growth.

If your shampooing your hair do you still cowash after? I was told  I should shampoo once a month because a cowash can only do so much? Throughout my natural hair journey I’ve only cowash

Asked by: _Toytoie
No. You either shampoo or cowash. Both are cleansing steps. I shampoo maybe once a month and cowash weekly inbetween shampoos. Cowashing is less drying than shampoo, so if you like to wash your hair often, cowashing is better.
