Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me I love the silk elements line but this product was a disappointment. I’ve used this product for 2 months on my relaxed hair and my daughters natural hair. It smelled good but that was all. The conditioner left the our hair feeling striped and dried out. Will not be repurchasing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Something has changed The packaging has changed and so has the product. I have sworn by this product as a good deep conditioner over all other professional brands i have used behind the chair. i was gravely disappointed after my last purchase. It doesn't do the job anymore, and it leaves a build up on your hair. i don't know what you all did to the formula but put it back to the original blend this is awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super drying and made my scalp itch Got some free packets of this. After use, my ends were so dry that they felt sticky. I had to wash my hair twice and I still feel like it's caked on my hair. My scalp won't stop itching. Time to get the Dawn or clarifying shampoo out to get this off my hair. Worst conditioner I ever used. I would give this zero stars if I could.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silk elements I bought this product over a year ago. I would just use it on my wigs. I started using it on my natural hair. To my surprise, I was very pleased with the outcome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strong fragrance!! Two sample packets of this conditioner were purchased as add-on/upsell items during checkout at my local Sally's. when I opened the conditioner, I must say, the potent "perfumey" smell was quite overbearing. My eyes and the side of my face began itching, my throat started hurting. Strange! Not sure what I reacted to in this product, but I'm sticking with my "ride or die products" going forward. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Conditioner EVER I was given this as incentive to buy a Sally Card. Worst decision ever. It took me weeks to get this awful toxic stuff out of my hair. My hair was heavy, greasy and disgusting as though it was coated in petroleum goo. I started by washing my hair over and over in the shower. That went on for a week. I finally had to wash it with something else for two days to strip it out. I am tempted to take it to a lab and have it tested to see what it is. I'm not kidding. My two daughters had the same experience. Truly awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Obvious Buildup & Dryness after use... I have Asian hair and it's currently dry and damaged. A YouTube video professional stylist recommended this product for those who are on a budget, so I gave it a try. After the first use, I was NOT satisfied. Upon application of the product while in the shower, I didn't feel my hair becoming "soft" as most conditioners would. I rinsed it off and my hair felt like straw and very DRY! It also left a buildup of silicone on my hair after towel drying it. After blow-drying my hair, my hair didn't feel weighed down but it wasn't as conditioned as I was hoping it to be. The product didn't make any significant improvement on my hair, especially my ends. I do not recommend this product to anyone with my type of hair, and for anyone who expects their hair to feel soft after using a conditioner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good price, bad quality I had mistaken this as the "mega silk" line and purchased it. Once I used it, my hair was so dry and felt like a cheap halloween wig. I was in denial that this conditioner made my hair dull and tangly because silk elements had been good to me. I actually did a test on one strand having the silk elements luxury conditioner and another strand of hair with a different conditioner. And my conclusion was that the luxury conditioner dried out my hair and my other strand was soft and smooth. Very disappointed, I had to throw it away. I suggest using the MegaSilk 1 oz. packets. They work wonders.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again This is by far the worst conditioner I have ever used.... and I have used a bunch of conditioners. I have curly hair. Not the imaginary curly that some women have haha. And since I have curly hair, those who do too, also know that we need good conditioner and LOTS of it. I ran out of my usual conditioner and the store was also out, I settled for this. It was on sale and I thought how great it would be if I discovered something great without breaking my wallet. Wrong. I would have been better off using NOTHING. This is full of wax. It stripped any natural moisture I had and left behind a waxy film that I then had to wash out. I tried this twice and each time, washed it out and used my argan oil drops in place of conditioner until I could get back to the store. Anyone that 'loves' this conditioner or would recommend it to a friend, I would like to know how much you really like these people because I love mine entirely too much to wish this product on them. The best thing I got out of this experience was the bottle that I put good conditioner in since it was a nice size for traveling. Summed up, don't buy. I am open to new things and I usually try products that have high to medium reviews. My experience has dictated that if there are quite a few low one star reviews, then I usually end up disappointed. Save your money because this is one of those disappointments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soft but dry! This product dried my hair out. I was tricked by the texture. It wAs really soft but dry. It did nothing for my hair as far as moisture is concerned. I have transitioning 3b hair

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sooooo soft and silky! I had recently relaxed my hair for the first time. I didn't know what to use to keep up with my hair. I was recommended this conditioner and I freaking love it! My hair is so silk and soft and moisturized, I can't keep my hands off of my hair! Also, it smells like old wine but it wears off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful I was originally using the kerapro which i really liked but was too expensive to buy on a regular basis if it wasn't on sale. so i figured i would try this because it was a good deal and any other silk elements product i tried was nice. but this stuff is awful. it made my hair dry and thick and greasy like i hadn't showered in days. it actually gave me dandruff. i don't recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only conditioner I will buy This makes my hair resilient again, shiny, bouncy, all around exactly what I want in a conditioner. The aloe vera helps smoothe and close the cuticles of my damaged ends.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Not Meet Expectations I love the Silk Elements Glossing Polish and thought I'd give the shampoo and conditioner a try after hearing such rave reviews. I hate to say this, but I was terribly disappointed. My hair typically handles any type of shampoo & conditioner fairly well. But, this was conditioner that left my hair frizzy and matted. And just as one other reviewer stated, it left my hair with a dull, sticky coating. This is one purchase that I would definitely not make again. I will simply stick with Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner or their Oil Moisturizing Silk Protein Conditioner that has never let me down :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I purchased this about 3 weeks ago because I wasn't get feeling my Queen Helene cholesterol. I was skeptical about it because I saw the silk amino acids and my hair hates protein. Well I decided to try it. I have type 4b/c hair and is 9 weeks post relaxer. Wow!!! When I put this on my hair my it was so soft and had a nice slip, I was like that's what I'm talking about. Detangling was so easy. I am very pleased with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Moisturizing! I have african american 4a/4b hair and decided to try this product since it was on sale. I am very glad I did. This conditioner left my hair very soft. When I wash my hair with regular shampoo, I will add some of this condittioner to my hair just before I rinse out the shampoo and it leaves my hair soft and it doesn't feel stripped. I only add the conditioner on the second wash not the first. It instantly puts moisture back into my hair. So if you're concerned about certain shampoos stripping your hair of it's moisture, maybe this technique will work for you. It works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me Not sure how there are some bad reviews for this, but yea everyone's hair's different. This conditioner is now my absolute favorite. Smells great to me, detangles better than any conditioner I've ever used, and moisturizes. My hair feels stronger using this. I use it sometimes as a leave in too when I do my hair, treat it like a hair lotion and it doesn't make my hair dull but just super soft (doesn't help for frizzies like this though). My hair - mixed b/w, fine but tons of it, relaxed but wear it curly/big.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money! This left my hair dry and just coated feeling. It felt good going in and just alright washing out. I am totally disappointed, it's been sitting in my cupboard ever since.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not use! I really wanted to get a rich conditioner for after i dyed my hair so it wouldn't feel so dry. This product managed to make it even worse. My hair felt stiff, and had a weird feel to it. This product also has a very yucky smell and i had to wash it twice to completely get the scent to go away!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does not contain alcohol this works well. i usually use it after a relaxer in addition to a reconstructor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't buy this! stick with MegaSilk So I've been loving the Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisture Treatment and the lady at Sally's suggested I try this one the Luxury Moisturizing Conditioner cause the sample was on sale for like $1. So I bought it and used half of the sample pack. Left it on for like 15 mins with heat. I was very dissapointed, it made my hair hard, dry and brittle. I didn't like the smell it was the complete opposite of the MegaSilk. I had to use another conditioner afterwards to put moisture back in my hair. Don't buy this one! The MegaSilk is really really good though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do these expire??? I bought a sample packet and this was sitting in my shower for no more than a week and finally I went to use it tonight and mine smelled horrible! I don't know if these can expire, but this smelled like cheap wine! No joke! I rinsed this out as fast as I could but I can still smell it in my hair...I hope once my hair dries or by my next shower this will be fixed. However, for the few seconds this WAS in my hair, my hair does feel softer. I'm not sure what went wrong!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Conditioner EVER All these years I've been using the most expensive conditioners which work well, but I can't afford. Since I couldn't afford to use them often I hardly got to see any results. I've been using this stuff for a month now and it's amazing. It instantly detangles my hair. It doesn't smell bad, but does have a slightly strangle feeling if the product washes by your face or lips. My hair requires lots of maintanence because I relax it and then use either a flat or curling iron. I haven't been able to grow is as long as I would like because I always have to get the ends cut off, but I think after discovering this product I may finally be able to do that. I also love the shampoo product. I can't wait to try the other products in this line. Thanks sally!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from *I hate it... *I loved the relaxer, and hair dress so much from Silk Elements I thought I'd love this too. I don't, It's terrible. It makes my hair very hard, and dry. I have pretty thick, average texture, African-American hair. It's not really coarse, but it's not really "manageable" so maybe it might work well on fine, or wavy hair. Though I will say that most African-American shampoos, and conditioners are terrible on my hair. I just thought since I liked a few of their other products so much this would be different. Besides that I wanted to be able to get all of my hair care products in one place, but I'm sticking to Pant---.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Conditioner I used the shampoo and its horrible but the conditioner rocks. It conditions my hair really good and it detangles aswell as leaves my hair flat when I come out of the shower and I just love how weightless my hair feels:)
