Rated 5 out of 5 by from Your Hair Will Love the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Over my 7 yr Natural Hair journey since my breast cancer I have tried so many natural hair products claiming to do this or that. Wasted so much money on things that didn't work. A friend of told me to try this this line. It is absolutely the best product for my 4C hair. I brought the entire line, and I can see the difference in my hair. Your hair will love it. The price is reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Transitioning Hair! I have been transitioning for 5 months now, and have been having a hard time finding products that keep both my relaxed and natural hair happy, but this product works wonders! My hair is left feeling soft, hydrated, defined, and strong. I currently use the LCO method to moisturize my hair and use this product for the cream, and my hair has never seemed healthier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Transitioning Hair! I really struggle with finding products for both my relaxed and natural hair, so I am super relieved I found this product! This is not only a very moisturizing cream, but also my hair feels noticeably stronger after I apply it. I use the LCO method when moisturizing my hair and I use this product for the sealing cream since it is a bit thicker than other products. It has really helped my damaged, color-treated hair!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Oddly Different from Other Styling Products Since this is the only "hair smoothie" I have ever used, I was not used to how watery it was. It left my hair defined, but SUPER oily and flat. Since I personally like my hair to have a lot of volume and less transferable oil, I was not too fond of it. At least it did not leave my hair feeling dry and crunchy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite hair product ever!! This seriously is my favorite hair product ever! It makes my hair easy to manage and keeps it looking great without adding too much stiffness. I love this stuff. By the way, when the store didn't have it one day, I bought the "leave in conditioner" version and it wasn't nearly as effective for my hair...it also left it crusty and difficult to manage. Please keep the smoothie!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed. More Alcohol than Castor Oil I am very sorry I purchased this. After the first use I noticed it is very drying. It seems to have more alcohol than Castor Oil and Shea Butter.

Has anyone used this product for twistouts or braidouts? If so, how did you like it? I have used the shampoo, deep treatment masque and leave in conditioner from this line and I absolutely love them.

Asked by: Shannaya
Ive used the leave in conditioner from this line w the gel from this line for braids and they were perfectly tucked and no hairs sticking out. Apple not a lot but a good enough amount that will hold the hair I'd recommend:))

What is the difference between the Jamaican Black Castor oil smoothie and the leave-in conditioner?

Asked by: GabrielaY
In the case of the LOC (leave-in, oil, cream) Method, the smoothie could be used as the cream because of its thicker consistency and they usually help enhance the style. I hope I was of some help!

Why is this called Jamaican black castor oil smoothie when castor oil is not listed as an ingredient at all? Not to mention the fact that it has 3 different kinds of alcohols.
