Hmmm....formula changed.I guess after all these years Revlon tweaked the formula a bit because years ago(20+ years) when I had my salon I used this relaxer a lot and it would normally break down course hair follicles really nice with results lasting 8-12 weeks. I tried it again in December 2018 for both my mom and my hair. My hair came out good, but the formula wasn’t strong enough for my moms hair and didn’t give me the results I was looking for with her hair. It still looked nice when I was done but I did see some new growth while rinsing and styling her hair so I didn’t get the results that revlon normally produces after a relaxer.

Is this the same conditioner that is in Revlon hair color?

No. This product contains lye and is used to relax/straighten hair.

I have natural curly medium thick dry hair, will this help me get it smooth and straight?

This is Carmen927 again. I forgot to tell you NEVER USE HARSH Permanent HAIR DYES ON RELAXED HAIR. ONLY USE TEMPORARY Hair Coloring like Clairol Beautiful or any temporary coloring that has NO AMMONIA OR PEROXIDE IN THE INGREDIENTS. This is very important.
