Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME Curl Straightener I have been using this product for several years and Love the results eveytime I use it. I have wavy curly hair and this leaves it straight, shiny and looking Beautiful, easy to flat iron and style. This product is gentle for my type of hair, since my hair is very fragile from coloring it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Product Ever! This is the worst product I have ever used! I followed instructions to the “T”! My hair was healthy before I used it. My hair was severely burned. I had to get it cut off. I have had multiple salon conditioning treatments. After 2 1/2 mos., I still have damage and will need at least two more cuts. Use this product with caution!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Defrizz hair It definitely made my hair less poofy/frizzy. It seems more weighed down.(like a relaxer) It’s been 3 weeks now and it seems to be fading fast.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Holy moly do NOT buy this product After a TOM of research and advice from several friends of mine who do hair this is the product I went with. Confusing instructions aside, this product somehow managed to completely destroy my hair in just two minutes. I strand tested as advised by the directions and everything seemed fine so I went in. I ended up rinsing this product out 2 minutes in because I couldn’t already see breakage. After all was said and done, I’m now going to end up spending a ton more money in an attempt to get the damage fixed to some degree. If you don’t already have experience with this type of product, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FRIED MY HAIR Do not buy. I regret doing this so much. My hair is ruined. I’m going to have to get a lot of it cut off. It feels like straw and I’m to scared to brush it because it is so damaged and frail looking. Worse idea ever. I have poofy frizzy thicker hair I wanted to tame. Now I have to start over with short hair. A wasted $30 too.

Does this product work? I have very frizzy hair and I’m tired of trying to straighten it and make it straight.

Asked by: Destiny_18
It works very well. Mine is also frizzy. I still need to use heat to smooth it but it is much easier and shinier when I use this product. I have been using it for around 10 years. I use it every 3 to 4 months.

do you need to flat iron the hair when you are doing the porcess like when you do a keratina? or is just apply wait and then rinse. Pls let me know. I want to buy a hair straightner that you apply wait, rinse and set without the use of flat iron.

Asked by: Nargrelia
The process is apply, wait and then rinse.  The only drawback is that you have to apply it pretty fast.  I just divided my hair into sections and then applied to each section.  It worked good for me.

Please I need to know what is the instructions as I missed the original ones

Asked by: American dream
Use step 1 (conditioning oil) in hair, about half of bottle. Dont want hair dripping wet, a little damp. Heat up step 2 in microwave (maybe 10-15 seconds at a time) until loose, mix well. Section hair and apply all over evenly QUICKLY. Dont let product sit in hair for too long. I let mine sit maybe 5-10 mins, i cant remember how long exactly.  Wash out w/ shampoo & conditioner.  Step 3. Mix leftover conditioner oil(step 1) w/ step 3, apply all over hair until dripping wet, leave in 10 mins while combing hair straight at possible. Rinse with water.  Step 4. Apply all leave in conditioner.  This is how im remembering the directions the best i possibly can. I would try to call customer service # of company who makes it just to be sure.

You can use balsam shampoo and conditioner that helps relax a perm until you can straighten it..balsam takes a perm right out usually

Someone said that you have to leave it on for two days before washing. What's the condition of the hair for those two days? Thanks,.

Asked by: Julian14
Absolutely not!! you don't leave the straightener on for 2 days. After straightening you don't wash or condition your hair for at least 2 days & don't use heat appliances for those 2 days either except the hair dryer. . Follow the directions completely and you'll be fine.

I have 3 questions: Will this straighten natural curly hair and do I have to still use my hair straightener or blow-dry it straight?

Asked by: Mammie20
Yes it will straighten naturally curly hair I have curly hair and it does a great job. I still blow it dry which helps it stay straighter. You don't have to use a straightener but can to rid frizzies if you have any. The blow dryer does a good job.

Does the box have instructions? And would taking showers affect the products long lasting results?

Asked by: Jackie96
Yes- the instructions are very clear and I believe there’s even a you tube video. I don’t think the amount of times you wash your hair matter- it’s the new growth that comes in curly.

Asked by: cindy denhof

I previously have my hair straightened w japanese permanent straightening (yuko). Can i calm just my roots down w this? Or would that be risky

Asked by: amaiacfz
I think it would calm your roots. I;ve been using it for quite some time. It always works well for me. Be careful tho if your hair was straightened real recent. if its been a month or so it should be ok, especially if you're focusing on the roots.

Is this product ok to use on bleached hair?, I have semi-permanent black on it now but still have the blonde underneath

Asked by: chelicruz
NO!!!!!!!!! Do NOT use on previously bleached hair. I had my hair dyed dark brown (bleached 3 months prior) and my hair felt pretty healthy....biggest mistake I ever made with my hair....it literally melted and I had to cut it all off to a pixie cut.

hi,can this damage a hair with current color?can u suggest me product to make hair shinier or cellophane product?

Asked by: yrrehcnna
This product can be used on HEALTHY, Color-Treated Hair (ALWAYS Strand Test Before using) This product may fade or change haircolor so its best to relax hair about three weeks after last coloring then wait at least 10 days before coloring again.

My hair is medium coarse, will Zotos Easy Straight Three Month Straightener work on my hair to keep shiny and easy to maintain?

Asked by: PrincessAngel38
This depends on a lot of factors including how well your hair takes to the relaxer and how skillful you are at applying it. If done correctly it should leave your hair easy to manage and able to style any way you want - curly or straight. However, relaxed hair IS Chemically - Treated Hair and needs proper care and conditioning to keep it from getting dry and brittle so a gentle shampoo and a good hair treatment containing proteins and oils will be needed.

Do you need to use a flat iron when using this?

Asked by: Seeker21
NO and NEVER use heated appliances with any chemical product unless it specifically says to do so. You may Flat Iron AFTER the treatment but it is advised to wait at least a week for hair to fully stabilize then TEST a small area for damage / breakage and be very careful.

What are the ingredients in this product? Can it be used on grey hair that has been previously relaxed with a sodium hydroxide relaxer?

Asked by: Silver Fox
NO This is an Ammonium Thioglycolate Relaxer and you should not use ANY OTHER type of relaxer on hair treated with Sodium Hydroxide or Guanidine Carbonate. They work by completely different methods and can cause hair to dissolve if they overlap. Wait until you have a large regrowth area (About 2 in) COVER the Sodium Hydroxide treated hair in a RICH, Oil Based Conditioner right up to the regrowth area (DO NOT Cover Regrowth) and the apply relaxer ONLY on regrowth to transition to new relaxer.

IS THIS A LOW PH RELAXER?

Asked by: LYNN2020
NO This is an Ammonium Thioglycolate relaxer at about pH 11 but it can be used on HEALTHY, Color-Treated Hair as well as Normal Hair. I would not try it on Bleached, Frosted, Heavily Highlighted Hair or Hair in poor condition

My hair has natural curl and is very frizzy! Will this straighten my hair so I will not have to use a straightener?

Asked by: Burhead1
If done correctly it should reduce your waves / curls to a nearly straight condition but for a 'pin straight' look you will still need to use a blow-dryer and brush and / or flat iron.
