Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nails I love it! A great temporary substitute for a broken nail!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for at home use I use this all the time to do my nails at home but I wish the liquid was sold separately. I always run out of liquid and have to purchase a whole new kit. I have way more powder left over but no more liquid. I don’t use the glue, nails or the file included in the kit. I buy resin, files and clear tips from Sally’s.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from more glue!! this product is amazing but there is just not enough brush on glue, a good amount of powder and WAY TO MUCH SPRAY. have bought this twice and glue only lasts like 3 times, but i have two almost full bottles of spray that will never get finished

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good system I like this dip system much better than traditional gels/acrylics cuz its faster & less messy/tedious application(im not a pro). Ive only used with tips & get good results but when i follow the instructions it turns out way too thick over the nail bed and it never lays down smooth for me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding their technique but I do still spend a good amount of time afterwards on filing/shaping to get a smooth, even, natural looking finish. I've had this set on for almost 2 weeks with no lifting and the fill i did at 1 week was pretty easy too. Love to dip now & will continue to use ASP, just gotta practice a bit more on my technique to get a smooth laydown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money Horrible product. Chipped in a day and looks horrible. I have used alot of dip and acrylic kits and this one is the worst. Dont waste your money

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First time using dip... This kit is good for something quick but only comes with brush on glue and a curing spray. Wish there was a top coat instead of using the brush on glue as one. My color was chipping after just a week. I recommend buying a whole system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful! Goes on chunky... removal is a joke. Soaked for 10 minutes, ended up ripping off my fingernail with it! This will be going back to Sally’s and i will be asking for a refund. What a waste.

Should you use a fan brush to sweep around the nail and cuticle where the powder "pools" or will doing that possibly damage the acrylic that's been put on? If you don't sweep it away, will the activator make whatever powder you have on you harden?

Asked by: Sylvia718
You definitely wanna wipe off the excess powder around cuticle. I used a fan brush it worked just fine

Does the spray or any of it smell bad or strong ? Anybody recommend to do it with open window or outside?

Asked by: DeAndra_S
These types of products always have some odor. You should wear a mask if you are overly sensitive to the smells. I've used a dip type for the better part of  thirty years and prefer it to anything else. Using acrylic I was having to redo them every 2-3 weeks. This dip set I haven't had to do anything for 6 weeks.

It just dipping the nail and that it? It look natural nail??? Do you need a uv light?

Asked by: Liancheska
No light uv light needed! First you brush the glue over the entire nail surface then you dip the nail into the acrylic powder. Repeat one or two more times then you brush the glue on a final time and use the spray over the entire nail. File, buff and done.

Can you buy a deeper pink powder separately for french manicure?

Asked by: ds894444
Yes you can, just be sure it's a dip powder, if not it should at least be ultra fine. Ultimately you can use a color dip powder with this system.

Can you buy just the acrylic quick dip powder by itself?

Asked by: Ngilbert
No, it's a 3 step process. You must brush the Quick Dip glue on your nails first for the Dip to stick to and then use the activator spray to cure the Dip.

Is there any bonding agent other than nail glue that could be used with the dipping powder and might not be quite as damaging?

Asked by: Biggiwolf
You could use any nail glue with brush. For better results, I'd recommend using the nail glue that it comes with.

Does the acrylic come in more than pink or clear? if it doesn't, can we use other colored acrylics with this product? and still get the same results? or do we have to use the ones that are provided?

Asked by: Renee_24
The company does sell other colors of acrylic, but I've only seen it on amazon. Other people have used different brands of acrylic and it worked out fine.

Do you need to sand the acrylic smooth after it dries before polishing like you do when you apply acrylic with a brush? Or is it just smooth and ready to polish.

Asked by: bbweller
I usually have to file it somewhat to get it smooth and even. With practice it does come out smoother each time.

What kind of nail polish can I use with the acrylic dip system?

Asked by: Joan8028
You can use any kind of polish that you choose. Just remember that using acetone nail polish remover will weaken the acrylic with prolonged use.
