Great product
These dual forms are nice and easy to work with. I'm a beginner at doing acrylics and usually I use nail tips BUT NOT ANYMORE. The best part is these forms are reusable! The only negative I have to say is I wish it had different sizes, my nail beds are a little wider than the average.

Very helpful for smooth nails
These take some practice. You have to get just the right amount gel in the form. I found it helpful to fill the form and set it to the side. The builder gel will self level. I put a thin layer of gel on my nail and cured it for 30 seconds and then put the form on. I help the form in place for 30 seconds while it cured and then released my hold and let it finish curing. Once I figured out the gel ratio, this definitely produced a perfect nail in less time than using tips and brushing on gel.

Love these!
I've been using dual forms for a while for my acrylic and my polygel and decided to use these just to test them and I'm happy to say they work perfectly good quality! Ps it says right on the box that its only the dual forms inside.

Great
Love it. Took most of the day at first. Which included a manicure with major cuticles, while getting things done around the house between fingers.
Third time using this now that I know which siize is needed and cuticles under control with manicure it took about 1 3/4 hour.
Lasted about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks.
Looks great and really don't need to use any polish.

The product and review
This particular product is only the nail forms. I thought it came with the poly-gel. I used my acrylic powder and activator and filled in the forms with that( it was a little messy, so i would reccomend poly-gel tube) but the result was greT no trying to file the surface of the nail it was already perfect. I’ll be ordering the gel!

I checked the contents of the box in a store and I just thought it would be helpful to note that it is just the nail forms that come in the box however you will need to buy the acrylic product SEPARATE. you are just paying for the molds.

My Review for Form-A-Nail
I have tried this product and can say it’s great. Saves money on buying forms. They are not as snug as paper ones. The one I used was paper and some were flimsy and some hard paper forms but these outweigh the paper. I like that it comes with a CD. If you’re new to this or have never tried doing Acrylic nails with forms it’s a starting point. The CD explains everything so that’s why it’s important to listen to the CD and see how it works. It answers all your questions you need to know. I noticed when people ask questions I think they didn’t listen to the CD before asking questions. It just comes with Forms no Acrylic powder and Monomer!!!

These are just forms. You have to get your own solutions, liquids or powders seperately.

Does this come with the liquid and powder to do the forms with?
No, it doesn't. You only get the forms. And instructions. Make sure you read them carefully, watch the video and you can use the product of your choice. I haven't tried it with acrylic, only Polygel, but it works great, if you follow the instructions, and practice, practice, practice. If you get the application right, there's very little filing to do.

Do you need a lite to set them?
If you form your nails with acrylic product, no. Acrylics harden by chemical reaction and don’t need a light. However, the forms are reusable over and over, so if you use a gel-based nail product, then you’ll need a light to harden the gel onto your nail bed. I’ve only used gels because I can’t stand the smell of monomer.

What product do you recommend for forming the nail? Acrylic, gel, etc?
I found that PolyGel is the easiest to work with on these forms. It doesn't smell, not sticky or runny, and comes out beautiful. If you get real good at the application, you can get away without filing. If you file, the product becomes cloudy and loses it's shine. But without filing, it stays crystal clear. You can do encapsulating with it too. Be creative. You sculpt the product in the form, cure for 30 seconds, remove the form, and you have a beautiful nail.
Practice makes perfect.

what all do you get tin this kit? is it just the forms?
yes, and you will not be disappointed. Believe me when you get the knack of using these forms, you will love the out come!

Can I use this product to do a refill every 2-3 weeks?
This product consists of the nail forms only,theres no gel or sculpting kit. I'd reccomend using a dip powder for your fills. I've been doing that for a bit now.
