Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for me... I’ve always bought this monomer since it was the more affordable option. However, after testing out other monomers, I’ve noticed how strong this odor is compared to the others. Also, I’d like to point out that after soaking it off, I’ve noticed how similar it is to MMA (not implying that it is). After letting it sit in the acetone for up to 20 minutes, the acrylic was very sticky, clear and hard to remove as it only took off a thin layer per 20 min. I recommend the ASP nail liquid which is also available at Sally’s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value I bought this, as well as the polymer by No Lift. I am pleasantly surprised. I like the results. I tried one nail out and it came out really well. The smell isn’t overpowering, my son said it smells like the nail salon, but it a good way (Lol). I will continue to use this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from You’ve gotta be kidding me! I’ve used several different brands of monomer. Followed the same nail prep procedure. Never have my nails or my clients nails lifted and completely popped off as they did with this monomer. I’ve tested Kiss Acrylic before and it gave me a more flawless wearable look. My client who’s nails seem to never break wore Kiss for 3weeks without incident, this one, her nails started popping off the next day. As did mine. Some even lifted off the same day they were done. The monomer also gardens in your brush extremely fast even if you’re whipping in bettered stocks. Do not purchase this. You will waste your time!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So simple to use I love the liquid!! Was easy to use and distribute onto my nails without issue cleaned up nicely. Acrylic hardened fast and shaped easy no bubbling and held pretty well even though I have naturally flat nails and nothing seems to hold for long

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Of The Best I Started Buying This Monomer A Couple Of Months Ago. After Trying Out Mia Secret & Fantasy Nail Liquid I Have To Say That This One Is My Favorite So Far. I AM A NAIL TECH. Not Licensed But I’ve Been Doing Nails For A While Now & With This Monomer My Nails Grow Super Fast. They DONT Lift & DONT POP OFF. I Use It With Mia Secret Products & Works Perfectly Fine For Me. I Would Highly Recommend. The Only Thing That Sucks Is That It Is Hard To Find Any Bottle Bigger Than 4oz. Besides That DEFINITELY TRY!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Purchase Again I am a beginner, not a professional. I was given this monomer with other acrylic nail products. I know the monomer was several years old, but I have not had any problems with it. Since I have had no problems I decided to buy a new bottle. I would purchase again.

Does this monomer have a strong odor

Asked by: Janet Colonna
Yes, you’ll definitely want to use it outside. I’ve never heard of one being unscented or lightly scented.

hi. i want to buy no mma acrylic liquid.

Asked by: june lii
then search goggle for mma free brands and buy only that brand from whoever ends up selling it. You have to research which brands don't use mma first and once you know that then you can figure out where to get it. They don't do the research for you here they only answer questions about their own specific products so this is something you will have to look into through a site like Google where you can type in the search term "monomers with no mma" and see what the search shows.

I do my own acrylic nails. Am I understanding that you use the monomer liquid instead of the acrylic liquid?

Asked by: Robmarie
monomer liquid IS acrylic liquid. The powder is the POLYMER and the liquid is the MONOMER but sometimes people call the monomer "acrylic liquid" instead of by its technical name which is monomer. You always have to have a liquid and a powder mixed to create an acrylic nail. So for future reference just remember that monomer and acrylic liquid ,when you are talking about sculpting acrylic nails, are exactly the same thing and you must dip into monomer and then gather powder with that wet brush to make a pearl that you then place on the nail and "sculpt " into shape. That's why they are called sculptured nails.

Does this have a very strong scent like other monomers do?

Asked by: miklynn1
Yes! Very strong odor. I bought the kit recently and tried at home. Permeated every room, easy enough to air out. Do this in a well ventilated area or the room will smell like an entire nail salon. But I do believe it smells as strong as what you'd find in a student kit at a cosmetology school.
