Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible terrible terrible ! The only thing that was true was that it dried fast which is why I gave it a 2 star. But I tried to use it for my dip and let me tell you, the powder wouldn’t even stick because it literally dried once I put it on. And then to make matters worse, it started to stiffen and harden and become unusable. This is how my nails came out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't BUY!!! Brush applicator stiffens up after about 1 or 2 uses. Once hard and applied, it leaves streaks and ridges on your nails. What a waste of money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Formula is different! I have used this gel for years for repairing a cracked nail. I use Let's Go glue dryer, which instantly set the glue and two coats with a snippet of a tea bag would hold the cracked nail for weeks. My last bottle dried out and I bought a replacement at Sally's. Absolutely different. I used the same technique I always have and the Lets Go drier does not set this glue. And, it doesn't cement the crack together anymore. I've tried to repair this same nail every day this week and I keep thinking that I must be doing something different, but I'm not. This is not the same stuff and I'm terribly disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time It dries in 5-10 seconds, good for replacing nail glue. Comes with 4 to a pack. The only problem I had was the brush got stiff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great I bought this because I started biting my nails for some reason. It worked perfectly to coat my natural nails so I won't bite or they will not snag or break as easy. I also bought the resin spray so it dries quick. I highly rec both! LOVE!

Can I use this in replacement of the brush on glue that is in the ASP quick dip kit? The brush in the bottle of the glue that came with the kit got hard somehow and I can use it to brush on my nails.

Asked by: PrettyAsh
Yes, or consider using IBD Gel-Resin as a good replacement for use with powder dip systems.

How do I apply it

Can I apply it onto my skin put my Polish on my nails whatever mistake gets on my nails it's getting on the glue when I'm done can I Peel it off.
Asked by: Kayla
no, this is a variety of nail glue, with similar properties of super glue. for that purpose, use a liquid latex-based manicure produc, like Mini Mani Moo (available at sally beauty stores.) you can also use a school glue/pva-based product, like Sally Hansen Big Peel-Off base coat or OPI Glitter Off Natural Nail base coat.

Can you use this with the UV gel light?

I have a UV lamp and I use a gel nail polish curing the Polish between coats. This sounds like it gets hot, but would the light cure it quicker?
Asked by: Jess
No curing needed. No powder needed. No activator needed. Add wrap, brush on resin, dry, file till smooth with an emery board. Add extra layers of resin if wrap comes through when filing.

Is the brush on gel resin texture liquidity or like gel I have boxes of it and there all the same sticky gel like need to know if the texture is gel sticky or they gone bad.

Asked by: Alma gallardo
It is sticky like a glue. (You can certainly stick your fingers together in just a few seconds) But thicker than regular nail glue. And it hardens as a layer over your nail. Works great when a nail breaks. I don’t recommend using it in place of glue.

How do you remove this product?

I applied this to adhesive silk wrap tabs and would like to know how to remove it.

Can also be filed off using an emery board if you don’t like to soak your nails in acetone.

I have a tip to cuticle crack in my thumb nail caused by a trauma to the nail root. Can this product be used alone while the nail is growing out? I want to prevent a snag that could tear the nail completely off.

Asked by: BertFiske
Yes. Absolutely. For added protection I’d suggest a silk wrap. Cut a small piece and put over the broken part. Brush on resin, dry, repeat, dry, file nails, add polish if wanted. I routinely use this on its own when a nail breaks until I can get home and add a wrap to it.

Can I use this in place of regular glue to apply artifical nails? My nails are pretty thin and broken in places. I got this to use instead of regular glue since regular glue never holds very long. Thanks

Asked by: KatInVermont
You could. Although it’s not what it is for. might be better with tips than whole nails???

I got this to use with silk wraps. The bristles keep getting stuck together. Idk why. I'm apply the silk wrap, resin & spray with the hurry up glue drying spray. what can I do to keep the bristles from sticking together?

Asked by: dp21058106
I don’t use any spray. It could be the hurry up spray that is causing this. It dries in less than a minute. Probably don’t need the hurry up spray.  I apply the silk wrap, than the resin, let it dry, do another coat of resin if needed, dry, than file using an emery board till smooth.  Make sure you use the brush quickly and put it back in the bottle to refreshen it with resin. If you let the brush sit out longer than 5 seconds it’ll begin to harden.  It is a fast drying product. If it sits out it’ll harden!

I have this and I use it to do quick dip with acrlyic powder at home. Can I use ONLY this to strengthen my nails without using powder?

Asked by: Blt021bb
There is no spray activator needed. I don’t know where you’re getting your info but it’s not for this product. You don’t use powder with it either!!  It for wraps. You add the wrap to a broken nail, spread gel resin over it, let it dry. Use another layer if needed. Than simply file till smooth. Than put polish over top. No powder. No activator.

After 3 nails my brush hardened and I was "dotting" it on top of the acrylic powder not stroking. How can I save the brush?

Asked by: mamaeeee
This is not to be used with powder or an activator. It to use with wraps for broken nails. Put a small piece of the wrap over the break. Spread the resin over, let dry, spread resin again, let dry. Than use an emery board to file it till smooth. Than paint your nails. No powder or activator needed. It’s simple. Don’t make it harder to use than it should be. Adding powder will ruin the resin. Do not dip your nails in powder after applying the resin.

Can this gel be used as a replacement for the Kiss extension kit with their activator? This is the no light needed kit.

Asked by: Lululola

Can I use this resin under "pop on nails" to make them stick to my natural nail? I have heard there is a thick adhesive gel that works better than thin liquid glue.

Asked by: Klhn1986
It works better than most other glues as far as keeping the nails on securely and longer. However, it causes fungus on the nail bed. I discontinued using press on nails for this reason and I would not recommend this product for this use.

Hi! I'm fairly new to nail art & am looking for something that will hold rhinestones/nail charms on better than top coat or regular nail glue. Can this just be brushed on & then stick rhinestones right on top of it? Or is some type of activator needed?
