Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for dip nails I bought this after running out of the brush on nail glue that came with the asp quick dip acrylic kit that I've been using. Works fine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I used this over my Supernail Swiss Silk Self Adhesive wrap. As soon as I added it on the Silk wrap, it made the silk wrap see through (yay). It was EASY to paint it on my nail because it has a brush (just like nail polish does). It took a few minutes to harden, I gently buffed any rough spots,I polished over it with sally hansen miracle gel topcoat (which fills it in & smooths it out) then polished with color & topcoat. Believe me, my polish won't chip off of this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Excellently This is Perfect for using on nail silk wraps!! The brush-on feature makes it sooo very easy to use for precise placement and smoothly spreading out the silk. It hardens so well I use it for lengthening as well as repairing my nails. Take your time and wait for dry time - Which is NOT 5 seconds. Still, It works sooo well for my purposes. I usually apply 3 - 4 times (drying in between) and my lengthened nails stay until broken nail has grown out. Filing just like natural nails to maintain my preferred length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE IT I have done my own nails since the mid 1970's and I finally stumbled onto this product @ Sally's years ago !! I love it !! I "polish" my nails and tips with the gel, staying clear of the cuticle, and dip my nail quickly into acrylic powder for the strength and to fill in the edge of the tip. Works perfect and it dries within seconds. File that down smooth and I sometimes do it over again, and finish it all off with OPI clear topcoat. Not exactly as great as the salon, but I thinks some imperfection makes the nails look more natural, like you grew your own long nails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best salon quality finish! I am so used to using acrylics that i was a little skeptical when purchasing this gel. the clerk at the store was very helpful in pointing out you have to wait at least 10-15 minutes after brushing on the first coat before applying the second coat. after applying the second coat wait at least 15 minutes more and then lightly buff to remove shine. apply nail polish and top coat as desired. i recommend vite dry fast top coat. absolutely awesome for the price, i look like i came from the salon. i only spent 3 dollars on the resin and 5 dollars on the nail polish. i got a 30 dollar look for 8 bucks. i will never buy anything else because this is so much less damaging than acrylic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This stuff is great. This product is great for doing wraps. The product spreads very smoothly and does not run everywhere if used properly and thinly. This product should definately be used with a wrap. I tried it alone on my nails and it began cracking the very next day. There is a very strong odor and I ended up with a headache. Overall, I'm very happy. I wish it came in pink too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to use This is as easy to apply as nail polish. I use it mainly for silk wrap. It's a little slow to dry if you're using it to apply nail tips, but it works for that, too. By the time I'm done applying to the second hand, the first hand is completely dry. I definitely recommend using an actual wrap, not just resin, because it's a bit brittle and will crack if you bang your fingernail (and who doesn't?) without the reinforcement of the silk wrap. The smell is strong like any resin or glue, not noticably worse. It can lift just like any glue or resin, but it soaks off with acetone, so it's easy to redo. It is slightly thinner than the resins in squeeze bottles so it can brush on, but it applies so much easier and dries faster. It cures instantly if you get a glue dryer spray like Hurry Up Nails (but you may need to file away the spray pattern after, and keep the coats thin or it gets hot when you spray). This dries shiny, so if you want to use a gel sealer or nail polish over it, you have to file it. Otherwise, anything you apply over it will flake/chip/peel off. It files easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected. I bought this to strengthen my nails after I had my acrylics removed and after applying it it was really shiny so I needed to buff it some to make it dull so I could polish my nails and when I buffed them it came right back off. It also takes forever to dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good This stuff is great. I bought it to do wraps, obviously. Wraps are soooo much easier than acrylic! As long as you know how to apply finger nail polish, you can use wraps instead of acrylic! AND it looks better!

How much time does it last

Asked by: Gene6620
You brush this on then dip the nail into acrylic powder, so it "lasts" as long as your acrylic nails last.

Can I use this just like the Gel dip that comes with powder dip nail kit? Can it also be used as a top coat - just like the Gel dip stuff?

Asked by: jacquster
You probably can, because I usually paint the nail with it an dip it in the acrylic powder then put on another coat of resin. If you want it to dry quick spray it with the bio set resin spray. I believe it should work well with the dip powder what's the worse that can happen right, you might like it.

Is this product good for using with dip powder and gel activation liquid for manicures?

Asked by: CONTEMPO568
I can't tell you that. I'm not a nail technician. I'm a retired stylist. I do know, that as of the past 6-8 months, I am struggling with the product . It has been shattering, cracking and peeling. I don't know if they've changed the product in some way, but i'm trying other products. I've used this product for many years and this change, whatever it may be, is not working for me anymore.

can this be used over nail tip extensions?

Asked by: kjc11021976
Yes, it's basically a glue. You can glue tips on with it or use it all over top of nail/tips and then dip into acrylic powder (clear or any of the dip colors that are out now). I wouldn't use it on its own, though, because it will develop cracks eventually.

Do you need an UV light to set resin

Asked by: Paulajean
No this dries by itself, or if you're in a rush, you can buy the activator that sets resin in seconds.
